Whats interesting in the timeline of the mainstream fan, it goes from Pantera which helped birth nu metal, to nu metal to new wave of american heavy metal (ie metalcore) to deathcore. And in that entire process they skip over deathmetal and other forms of extreme music. Ive known some deathcore kids over 10 years ago and they STILL listen to only the newest deathcore or maybe hardcore...just interesting to me how that happens. And funnily enough Gen Z is bringing back Nu metal because of its '90s aesthetics'

I like Mortician, but they use the same Mid tempo riff in about 15 different songs. @LaylaLover90 very nice man!! I’d love to see Dickie with Nekro. I’ve actually saw him Live with Abiotic and do a guest appearance with Dealey Plaza after he left that band. He’s a cool dude too. I remember hanging out with him at a Cattle Decapitation show. Travis Ryan is his biggest influence!
