I got a couple of Traktor controllers a while back so I had a chance to play around with Traktor software. It was really complicated. I just stuck with VirtualDJ software. It works with all these controllers and vinyl. I never looked back.

is it common practice to lets say setup a playlist of a particular style of music and load those individual playlists/libraries to use in traktor? i dont plan to get my itunes involved but do plan on creating libraries using specific genres i have in my itunes library

Boa tarde, notei que meu Mixer Z2 está ligando e desligando sozinho, isso está acontecendo logo após a atualização que fiz no Traktor Pro 3.4, semana passada pitch no soft passou a não seguir o mesmo movimento dos toca-discos, tentei ver se o problema era latência e não funcionou, alguém sabe como resolve isso. não só eu mais outros amigos tb relataram o mesmo problema.

Pls help me out with one thing which is If i have already cued all the songs or my playlist, and if i m shifting from windows to mac or if i m formatting my pc. Then do I need to cue the same songs or playlist again, which i cued earlier?? Or else Traktor automatically saves my cue points permanently?
Yes Traktor saves all your cue points no mater what! Mac or PC/Windows. Doesn't matter it's saved in the metadata. Traktor is awesome!!

im clueless with this but want to start! can anyone help? i have two direct drive turntables a mixer and a laptop! if i buy Traktor sctatch with the vinyl can i plug in and play? or do i need a Traktor controller? if so which one? and im looking at the least exoensive option to get re-started ? can anyone help?
If its not a dvs ready mixer or traktor mixer you have to buy a dvs box. Traktor makes one that hooks up to mixer n comes with control vinyl.
What a complex software to operate it.
Virtual DJ is much easier to use.

If the software doesn't tell you, you can search the track on Beatport to find it. :)
If u buy this and for some reason your computer is lost broke beyond repair or stolen then u now own a brick......
