Amazing my brother u are just a great mentor I dont know why people go for logic and other softwares when we can do everything in our very own ableton . May u rise and shine brother.
For the additional beat added at 5:20, I'm assuming that's coming from the package linked in the description. When I go to that link it says page not found. Is there an alternative link or some close comparable to the one used? Thanks
I love your "How to produce" series. I have a few questions/notes on this video though: 1) I found that the Kontakt factory strings have a serious issue, some phase issues that cause artefacts (mostly sound reduction) in mono (I noticed it while trying the mono mix and the Voxengo correlometer confirmed that often the correlation goes bad); I use some plugins to reduce the bass width and it gets much better usually. Have you noticed the same? 2) The Kontakt string patch already has reverb in it, I know that's sound what matters most, but wasn't maybe a good thing to turn the embedded reverb off so that the plate could work better? 3) I'm monitoring through an AKG K240 headphone, and some notes of the bass (the first measure for example) are hardly noticeable. Do you think some compression would have made things better? Thank you again!
Can you please please please do the Weeknd - Save Your Tears tutorial. It will help me a lot like very very much. Plus that song holds very special place in my heart cause I have pretty much the same he sings about... Please Illfactor
Something i'm struggling with as a newbie to production is when trying to recreate a song (for practice purposes) how do i go about ensuring the pitch of the individual drum hits matches the pitch of the drums on the track i'm trying to recreate? Anyone got any advice on this?
Thank you so much! Love your videos, that's fire and helpful as usual! From Russia with love :) More Lana please, I'm in love with production of her music, I'm sure that I'm not alone :)
Thanks a lot for this video (useful as usual)! Could you tell us the name of the sample pack the breakbeat loop comes from? I see "Scarface vol.1" but I can't find it online :( thanks in advance if you could help us
id like to know where that chord progression came from. something you just whipped up from scratch? thats one of my biggest problems. I cant come up with good progressions.
It's the original chord progression of Radio by Lana Del Rey. A huge tip for coming up with good progressions is to sit down and study the circle of fifths.
@beat Academy, which plugins do you have on the master already during production?...what can you recommend for demos? Do you like the sound in Ableton, like in Logic or Cubase?
Hey. thanks a lot. Can you recommend something for the voice part? (Compression etc....) Her voice in Burning desire is really warm but it doesnt sound dull....
I will literally pay for more content like this especially for lana del rey
