This fight is one of the most well thought out of all the fights Togashi has made. It might take a couple of reads to understand the whole fight clearly and once you do it makes much more sense why Chrollo is so confident because even if Hisoka managed to deduce that Chrollo could use the head he had as an explosive and changed the head he was using, Hisoka would have still been in an uphill neverending battle. If the army of puppets didn't not beat Hisoka the entire mined battleground filled with the puppet bodies would.
An excellent example of a character who *can* stack the cards in his favor *actually* stacking the cards in his favor. Hisoka was arrogant and only after the fight realized he was completely outmatched if he allowed Chrollo to get away with the ability stacking and thorough planning. Hisoka is an assassin, and he now realizes that he has to fight Chrollo at a moment of his choosing while simultaneously taking away his cards. Only then will he shift the balance in his favor.
Chrollo basically has to set up a build for his fights. Hisoka would have won if he simply went at him like Gon. Hisoka here feels like a someone playing a pvp match in Dark souls. Something goes wrong and he's all like "uh oh" meanwhile he's chucking civilian copies completely unfazed whipping them around.
I wouldn't say he "would have" won, but I'd say it definitely would be more of a contest. Chrollo himself confirmed it, he only wished to fight a battle he knew he would 100% win, and that's exactly what happened. With as deep of a bag of tricks as Chrollo has, I doubt their is any world where Hisoka can 100% win, even if Chrollo isn't prepared, but again, that's the point. This fight never was a "proper fight" that Hisoka had wanted, it was a execution that Hisoka walked into naively. Which excites me about a future fight between them, where Chrollo hasn't already won the battle before they've ever even entered the "ring"
@@nfrance999 I mainly say this because isn't his new "annoying" condition for his bookmark is that he has to explain the abilities he's using? If Hisoka just went for it, at the very least Chrollo probably wouldn't have been able to use bookmark and thus has to compensate for his build. Correct me if I'm wrong though cuz I don't remember.
He does everything as optimal as possible and has basically any ability at his disposal to work with. With planning he might be one of the strongest in the verse
@@anusaukko6792 what hxh is doing doesnt make it more impressive or complicated either hisoka has simple ability and chrollo has whatever mangaka wants to think of in that moment
@@samoodustani5198 That, and the subtle buildup to the fight. Shalnark and Kortopi's powers also aren't anything new, neither are Chrollo's Nen abilities. These were established.
Chrollo is very impressive in this fight against hisoka, given that chrollo tried to fight up close against a transmuter. Quick reminder that hisoka is a transmuter and has 80% access to enhancement, while chrollo is a specialist who literally had 0%, meaning that chrollo even attempting to fight hisoka up close was a very dangerous move.
I'd like to see how would characters like Yuji, Yuta, and Gojo do in the Chimera Ant arc. I want to see them fight the royal guards both individually and the signature jumping style
Gojo clears. Meruem would have to create a Nen ability that can destroy space. With his high level intellect and easy understanding of nen he might be able to create one on the fly and eventually get past infinity. Also with his high level intellect he could possibly recover and not be that damaged by unlimited void. But for the most part Gojo will definitely vlear the palace invasion. The rest of the cast would be more interesting on how they fight the guards. Hakari would survive a ton of encounters if he already set up his DE with a runt ant and hops in the fight with any of the guards and the king. There is so much interactions in this
Chrollo in this fight was holding back, the entire fight he is not trying his best to win instead he his trying his best to look good while winning which he mentioned at the start of the fight when he said "Style is important in a game right? More than the outcome." and it also was mentioned when Hisoka complimented Chrollo by calling him kind for explaining all his abilities which Chrollo didn't have to go out of his way to do. Him holding back is also supported by the scenes in chapter 353 where he lands several hits on Hisoka. Chrollo could have implanted a black voice antenna to instantly win the fight during any of the many times when he landed hits on Hisoka but instead he just did normal punches instead. Chrollo also didn't bother to use some of his more OP abilities like fun-fun cloth that he thought he could use to capture a Zoldyck and is an insta-win similar to how black voice is an insta-win. Or his OP teleporting ability that he used on Nobunaga in their hideout to stop him from rushing at Hisoka. He could have paired these abilities together to just TP Hisoka onto an antenna or onto the fun-fun cloth but instead he wanted to make a convoluted plan to prove that he could outsmart Hisoka just to put on a show for "style". Chrollo did all this against a Hisoka who was getting more and more bloodlusted as the fight went on, and we know that your emotions factor into your nen and can amp it and yet an amped Hisoka was getting toyed with by a holding back Chrollo. For a character like Hisoka who we've seen so many times like to play with people and who views everyone as toys its fun to see the tables get turned around on him for the first time.

Like videos on Kurapika vs Uvo,Killua vs The Dart chimera ants, MORO VS LEOL like that fight is so good. HxH while it doesn’t have a lot of fights They have some great tactics in the fight
Have Six made a video of JJK vs HxH? I'd like to see how both verse interact with each other. And is it just me or does Chrollo and Yuta looks eerily similar?
Chrollo threw actual despairing people at Hisoka. Before the second toss he was holding a scared guy by his shirt and the man barfed his insides out when he collided with Hisoka. Rough way to go. Also don't think Hisoka underestimated the # of puppets. His lasr given number is how many Chrollo made up to thay point. He says while walking around, Chrollo would take the time to make more the longer he takes to search ans think.
4:49 chrollo said impromptu binding vow, I’ve always wondered what that condition was for the longest time. Also funny to think that if this was jjk, Chrollo would have gotten 7 disclosure amps at the start of the fight. I’ve also long considered this fight the best in manga for the longest time as well
I think Hisoka would win most of the time if he caught out Chrollo on the street, bro had an entire load out and stadium full of people designed to take out Hisoka
Depends. Chrollo knows Hisoka is still alive and that the next time he will fight him will not be under ideal circumstances. This will force Chrollo to come up with a new strategy. But as a straight up combatant, Hisoka is a better fighter.
Can you do a EoS yuta vs kenjaku This is most debatable battle in all JJK. Most people think it's 50/50 for either person. Especially now since yuta got buff through Rika
GG.... Sorry I'm too tired to say anything smarter right now. Okay I have something: Chrollo may win or tie in round 2 as he has many moves in that book.....like the one he used to teleport Nobunaga. We have some powerhouses ON BOARD however. I am on the Hisoka side however and I hope he will set traps like wire traps or spider webs 🕸 made of Bungee Gum....not to mention the disguise confusion that both these Floor Masters appear to be using .....ahh,Dude I'm even more tired now. Furthermore its the end of 2024 and this chapter came out 8 years ago. Edit: Okay so I finished the video. Sure the OST helps but this is my favourite breakdown of the fight. SUBSCIIIIIBED, BABY
Till this day it’s in my top hall of fame of battle manga tactical 1v1s , that also includes gojo vs sukuna, sasuke vs deidara (yes the end of the fight is a bit of an ass pull)
I'd say in spontaneous creativity, Gojo vs. Sukuna came close. I think Togashi did a better job in fixing the dialogue about the technical aspects before the fight started compared to Gege who kept interrupting the fight with long explanations by the crew. The ending of the Gojo fight (imo) could have been executed better. At certain points I felt it came close to surpassing this fight but fell a bit flat in the end.
I'm a bit confused, if Hisoka kept fighting after getting his hand blown up, what moves would Chrollo have left? He used black voice, Sun and moon he could only mark one hand and use order stamp and convert hands was an option similar to sun and moon? I'm trying to make sure I get these elements because I know the first time seeing this I didn't notice some details.
Hisoka could have had a fighting chance or better if instead of kicking floor tiles through the ceiling like with Gon if he attached bungee gum and then started sending the floor tiles flying into the puppets and the crowd making the stadium turn into clouds of debris with stuff flying around that makes an environment favorable to Hisokas fighting style.
Hisoka vs Chrollo is the most overcomplicated fight. Many of Chrollo's abilities have weaknesses that are nullified by other abilities and at the end has manipulation, transform, clones, and unlimited explosions with extra steps. This is a once sided beat down where Hisoka was just playing catch up to see the rate he was loosing by and never in an advantage state. This one sided "tricky" fight is like a human using a Rube Goldberg machine to kill an ant. The ant may have some skill and abilities, but a human has too many tools and objects at their disposal and can use any object in creative ways to kill the ant. Chrollo has high IQ using all these tool, but Togashi's writing is not very creative since there are too many win conditions. Off the top of my head here are some other ways to win, I likely overlooked ability stipulations, but it gives an overview on how many ways to win: Command to have all Order stamped units high 5 to propagate sun and moon Black voice and Convert hands make 3 chrollo like people that are indistinguishable Gallery faked units are weaker controlled but act as basic meat shields who can further look like chrollo Gallery faked units have the potential of having sun and moon explosions Black voice can be moved from one unit to another to either trigger explosions or get to the megaphone to signal all units to shuffle around Honestly one Hisoka looses track of Chrollo he looses as Black voiced convert hands looks indistinguishable, the gallery faked units keep propagating and the sun and moon symbols keep propogating, not to mention they all start looking like chrollo with convert hands.
@@YusufRawlinson-qk4rx based off him dodging Hisoka for a year, picking the perfect location for the advantage, using the other troupe’s powers yet Hisoka was still able to hold his own at a huge disadvantage. I feel like straight up no help from the troupe. In a 1 on 1 setting Hisoka gets him outta here
Chrollo only agreed to fight Hisoka under carefully controlled conditions. Throughout the battle, he took no damage, clearly showing that his strategy left no room for failure. In Hunter x Hunter, where appearances often don’t predict the outcome of fights, Chrollo ensured he couldn’t lose. This makes it impossible to truly determine who would win in a fair fight. While we can’t say Hisoka would have won, we also can’t say Chrollo would either, which is precisely why Chrollo set up the fight the way he did-to eliminate the risk of dying. Hisoka, on the other hand, was more focused on fighting Chrollo at his strongest, and that was his downfall. @@Kalinbuggs
I think jjk power system is better on paper but hxh execute their power system better. We haven't gotten it yet the lore behind nen but jjk the lore that curse energy comes from humans and that it creates monsters and abilities. The basics of curse energy flow is like nen, the idea of ko and ten is pretty much the same but even further the black flash is a potential by product of regular fighting and can change the tide of battles. Reverse curse can heal and its an ability everyone has potential to learn which I don't think is the case in hxh. Only specific characters can heal. Chants and hand signs can enhance power and binding vows are essentially like nen contracts and conditions. Pretty much jjk is hxh power system but more added to it the only thing nen has over jjk is the freedom of creating abilities. HxH is just better written, not nessecarily the power system being better.
@@indigo4740 I agree that cursed energy manipulation is effectively just an offshoot of Nen, but I think Nen is more robust while also being able to be so precise and logical. Imagine Sukuna as a master of Nen instead of cursed energy. It would be so much easier, and more interesting, to demonstrate his mastery over the power system. That being said, I think that cursed energy being more vague does offer some compelling narrative opportunities. It gives you the freedom to play with the nuances of the occult themes of JJK. However, I don't think that Gege executed on that very well either.
@@indigo4740 In HXH strong willed individuals with huge aura can create nen beasts from their feelings without knowing. Black flash is boring,' any one proficient in nen can create a healing ability with enhancement or transmutation, it has already been done with bisky and kurapika. And you can create your own nen domains that completely teleport you enemies in pocket dimensions or just teleport them anywhere you want. Also JJk has the worst boring use of restrictions i've ever seem
@TooFast4uzz yeah sukuna would have Alluka levels of nen abilities most likely and with that freedom to create abilities he'd be unstoppable. Cheetu was able to make a new ability while already having one active and chrollo added bookmark later. Nen has the potential to get even crazier. Some people don't like Alluka for how broken she is and might say that level of power breaks the series. I thought she was handled well especially coming from the dark continent she should be really strong. Personally if we get more abilities like that I think hxh will reach new heights.

Hisoka isn’t arrogant he’s just battle horny.
Hisoka really is just an ecstatic maniac.
@@Lamorak241 Ah gotcha. Did they ever touch upon what this new condition to skill Hunter is?
@@RustedBuddy5192it is never confirmed
this video was very good!
Chrollo is so dangerous. He doesn't have the obvious weaknesses some other antagonists have with their personalities.
I like that I really do
He does everything as optimal as possible and has basically any ability at his disposal to work with. With planning he might be one of the strongest in the verse
Been catching up on HxH and I'm super excited about this video
so crolo just made bunch of clones he threw them at hisoke and they can explode , its cool
A very simplified version
You can simplify any fight from animanga into a single sentence, doesn't make it any less impressive or complicated.
Using that logic you can simplify anything dude
There is so much interactions in this
@@indigo4740Hakari is fucking dying 😂😂😂

Hisoka's error was thinking it was a one on one fight, that's why he's so pissed now
Another gojo vs sukuna where one guy gets a ton of abilties the other doesnt know about. really interesting fight
difference is gojo knew about the ten shadows only real similarity is that both of sukuna and chrollo had a plan and even did chrollo had a 100% chance of victory while kuna was kinda making it up as he goes
@@hatedomni1646knowing of ten shadows doesn't mean he knew anything about the abilities. Half the fight is gojo misunderstanding mahoraga's adaptation

We need more HXH battle analysis 😆
Like videos on Kurapika vs Uvo,Killua vs The Dart chimera ants, MORO VS LEOL like that fight is so good. HxH while it doesn’t have a lot of fights They have some great tactics in the fight
Have Six made a video of JJK vs HxH? I'd like to see how both verse interact with each other. And is it just me or does Chrollo and Yuta looks eerily similar?
At the moment my favorite manga fight in terms of tactics and powers
In my top 5 six vids fs. We need more hxh content six pleaseeee
Man i would pay stupid amounts of money to see the arena fight animated
4:49 chrollo said impromptu binding vow, I’ve always wondered what that condition was for the longest time. Also funny to think that if this was jjk, Chrollo would have gotten 7 disclosure amps at the start of the fight. I’ve also long considered this fight the best in manga for the longest time as well
I always come back to this fight and it’s funny cause it’s not animated
Jjk is mid goofy😊
If this scene gets animated , It would be one of the best anime fights ever
Perfect example of strategic vs tactical
Hisoka survive because he knew the properties of bungee gum
Simply the high IQ of HxH as an entity. Peak fiction.
I love hxh content keep it up
Leorio defeats both Chrollo and Hisoka with his pocket knife. It has both properties of pocket and knife
Crazy genius fight
peak battle shonen fr fr
Families have been fed.
I think Hisoka would win most of the time if he caught out Chrollo on the street, bro had an entire load out and stadium full of people designed to take out Hisoka
Yeah Chrollo ran away from hisoka and he admitted that Hisoka was the first person he ever had to use that many abilities against.
Depends. Chrollo knows Hisoka is still alive and that the next time he will fight him will not be under ideal circumstances. This will force Chrollo to come up with a new strategy. But as a straight up combatant, Hisoka is a better fighter.
Chrollo puts the time in prep time
Timing immaculate considering we gettin HxH back soon
Hope we get some more Hunter x hunter content six
Imma save this vid till i reach it im on chap 152 rn

Can you do a EoS yuta vs kenjaku
This is most debatable battle in all JJK. Most people think it's 50/50 for either person. Especially now since yuta got buff through Rika
The battle is over the moment Kenjaku opens his domain.

But does Chrollo or does he not have a Binding-Vow-of-Nen to 'explain his ability truthfully' and did
or didnt he have Help?

Sasuke vs Itachi next
Till this day it’s in my top hall of fame of battle manga tactical 1v1s , that also includes gojo vs sukuna, sasuke vs deidara (yes the end of the fight is a bit of an ass pull)
Will this ever get surpassed in the future? 🤔
I hope we see another fight like this from hxh
Really fuck with the thumbnail for this one
Comment for interaction in the algorithm please post more hxh content
Love this fight
😂😂 Sukuna and Chrollo know something about prep time...Gojo and Hisoka don't give a shit they have creativity in their side.
Off the top of my head here are some other ways to win, I likely overlooked ability stipulations, but it gives an overview on how many ways to win:
Command to have all Order stamped units high 5 to propagate sun and moon
Black voice and Convert hands make 3 chrollo like people that are indistinguishable
Gallery faked units are weaker controlled but act as basic meat shields who can further look like chrollo
Gallery faked units have the potential of having sun and moon explosions
Black voice can be moved from one unit to another to either trigger explosions or get to the megaphone to signal all units to shuffle around
Honestly one Hisoka looses track of Chrollo he looses as Black voiced convert hands looks indistinguishable, the gallery faked units keep propagating and the sun and moon symbols keep propogating, not to mention they all start looking like chrollo with convert hands.
That was a lot of yapping but I’m happy you enjoyed the video
In a 1 on 1 setting no ppl no prep time. Hisoka gets this man outta here
Based off what?
@@3DFactoryATL i understand that. I still disagree and think Chrollo loses.
@@Kalinbuggs I think he loses too I'm just saying that you can't just say he loses without giving an explanation. this isn't Naruto or one piece.
oh yes an actual good power system unlike jujutsu
JJK's power system was heavily inspired by HxH
Yo six, i have a question for you, which isn't part of the video. I hope you can indulge me and answer. Why didn't the village know about minato being his father cause i have been looking, and i hope this isn't a plot hole.
