To my nose, rare carbon doesn’t really have all the leather it should, albeit really shining thanks to the violet note. Without the florals it wouldn’t be that great of a fragrance

That’s weird, Amber Oud Blue edition was given to me for Xmas and I LOVE IT but I never thought of Chanel Bleu when I smelled it.. I know Chanel Bleu pretty well but the Amber Oud Blue comes off as a middle eastern scent. You know, heavily saturated oils and resins that succulent profile.. while Chanel Bleu comes to me more crispy sharp and spicy and clean.

I bought the blue edition and it baffled me. Idk if maybe I got something someone had emptied out and filled up with water or what… but it smelled absolutely nothing. It Came from Mercari so there’s a possibility. Ended up getting my money back out of it so no harm. I need to try that red sapphire because I’ve heard good things. You consider it better than amber oud rouge too?
I learned the hard way about 7 years ago NEVER buy anything from Mercari. Bought fake beats headphones. Thankfully got my money back, hope you did too. That app is a scammers paradise, and it probably has only gotten worse.

The 9pm I agree is extremely fruity (mostly pear) for the first hour. After that it's a soapy fresh fragrance with beast mod3 projection and longevity
