Opel Vectra B: Fan Resistor Repair
The passenger compartment fan stops temporarily and randomly, mainly during times of high heat.
Apparently it could be due to some bad contact somewhere in the electrical circuit of the ventilation system.
This video shows the disassembly and repair of the passenger compartment fan resistor contacts. After almost 2 weeks of correct operation it seems that the repair has been effective.
3en1 residue-free contact cleaner is used.
