You said something a couple videos back which should really go on a t-shirt, since it applies to most of your projects (and mine as well, it seems): "It's never just the project you're doing." In case Lupine Lane wants to get into t-shirts or stickers, lol. I LOVE that you took on a bridge project! So many guys think we women would just never build anything if it wasn't for them - and here you are, weighing all of 100 lbs, showing them who's who. Have I told you I've made Sunday my "get shit done" day just because there's usually a Hannah video to inspire and motivate me? Loved the little chipmunk so indignant that he'd been caught in your stash, loved the little frog just supervising the bridge project. You truly are living a charmed and blessed life, so surrounded by the calm of nature, the adventures of travel, and with youth and health to enjoy it all. And best yet is that I don't think you take this for granted. You clearly worked hard to get where you are, but I also see your gratitude for the gifts you've been given. Thank you for sharing it all with us.

I think if Hannah plans to move anything heavy on it, she should set both ends on the bridge into concrete piers so the bridge doesn’t shift but if she is just walking on it and doesn’t try to drive her riding lawn mower over it yet then it is an impressive piece of impromptu engineering.

Im 56 years old and just ran across your bridge build… i love your channel. I hope one day to have my own little homestead.. i lived in the gamut of homes and currently in a custom built home on an acrea. I live with the ex. As a friend its his house not mine and he is not at all interested in a homestead or earth based things like me. One thing i will say though is my life has been interesting.. lots of trauma , generational abuse and i can honestly say that even in a beautiful home with the wrong person doesnt make a home❤ its high maintenance and not at all cost effective. What i find is I’m dreaming of a place that is cozy , beautiful and low maintenance. Maybe a cabin in the woods , maybe its a gothic victorian all i know is so far i haven’t found the home where i feel at home and know its where i wNt to be. Where o can make the best decisions for me , paint colors, bridges, gardens, animal friends and the like. Sometimes it seems like being alone instead of being someone who halts your constructive growth is the best thing you can do for yourself. Maybe its self growth that will precipitate one day someone who will align with you. In the meantime watching your videos gives me the inspiration i need today❤

"Hannah-fied" You did such a good job on your bridge! You figured out things that engineers go to school for years to learn. That bracing you were doing will shore it up and make it more stable, and the treads themselves are structural, even as a finish element they tie the structure together. A floor system isn't finished and stable until the actual flooring goes in whether it's sheet material or tread design. Great work, good job, way to "Hannafy" it.

You are amazing and I love your can-do attitude! Here's some unsolicited advice. 😉 You already know how to build a deck, so start with that. You'll have a secure, and level platform above the stream. Then build the ramps from it. That way, you can adjust for the uneven ground, without losing the strength and integrity of the span over the bridge. Also if the ground heaves when everything freezes over, the platform part is secure. Just a thought. 😊

Hannah, Your videos never disappoint. You just show the raw you waking up and starting a project that has manifested in your mind and is now becoming a reality. Great job as always taking us on a journey of self discovery, self reliance, motivation and the confidence to see the project through.
As always sending vibes of Blessings and Love for your continued adventures on your journey through this life.
Love the jewelry and hope to purchase something in the near future.

I think you get a medal for being the first to build a complex structure like a bridge starting with the bridge first and then adding the foundation and supports later LOL, kidding aside I always admire your attempt and determination and doing these types of projects are always a learning experiences. Hope to see its completion in the future.

Hannah, I'm so impressed by your ability to create a bridge basically all by yourself even though there were struggles you're not giving up! 🤗After watching you for the last several years I've wanted to learn how to use a circular saw. So that I can make a couple of counter like tables with storage and maybe a built in shelf someday for my art studio... the urge to build things out of wood gets stronger everyday! 😅

Finding the solution to build a bridge by just doing it and never give up, amazes me. I'm planning first, may be calculating the static requirements and what profiles I then need ... Hanna you're like a scout just going forward in the wild and coming through it. Wow 👏👏😃

Hannah! I love your channel and been watching for a long time. I am always amazed at you getting all these different projects done. I do have a bit of critical advice though and the last thing I want to do is offend. When building any kind of structure that is going to carry weight you need to look at your joints and make sure the load is on the uprights and not on the connectors (or bolts in this case.) And maybe you did this, I couldn't tell at the end for sure how you had it finished. But think of it this way. If you take two short 2x4s and and make a T out of them by laying one on top of the other, that will bear a lot of weight. But if you cut the top board in half and use connectors of some type to make the same shape "T", the hardware has all of the stress of the weight on it. Now in the simple example it doesn't matter to much. But in something that you might take your tractor over, or have more than one person on at a time it should really be looked at. You see the force with movement and bouncing and leverage can be amplified and make those connections sheer. So treat it like stacking blocks one on top of the other and you can glue (the connector) to hold them together, but the weight is supported by the wood, not the connector. I only bring this up for you safety, and don't mean to criticize. I love your channel. Thanks for the great videos.

Love your determination and I impressed by your builds. Woman to woman you gotta evict that squirrel cuz it's gonna wreak havoc in there and likely damage your mower and motorcycle I the winter. He is taunting you. Spoken by someone who just replaced my mowers engine due to a hidden critter nest blowing it up. Bougie critter running around ... $2,000 to my inexperience. Also had one under the hood of my van and nest in skates. I let the mice live and advise you to rehome or evict critters now so they can prepare themselves for the winter elsewhere. I love animals walking everywhere in the the middle of nowhere in the winter is not cool. I wish you well and hope you out smart that sassy 🐿️!

Hannah I look forward to your vids every week.
I have the utmost respect for how you throw yourself into these things and I know in the end it will be great.
I'm sure though that I won't be the only one to suggest that if you had worked out where your 2 or 4 main supports needed to go and gotten those in first you would have saved yourself an awful lot of lifting and balancing as everything could have been supported by those as you went along. I think initially your idea was not to have uprights perhaps which is definitely a more complex design.
This is not a criticism though - I love what you do - I just really wanted to come help you on this one but I have no doubt you will make it work in the end x
