Btw, many people are misunderstanding the statement “Not recognising any of the Chinese party”.
It's actually that the Nation of Bhutan don't recognise any of them as real China which means they recognise both states boundaries. They recognise ROC boundaries in Taiwan & PRC boundaries in the mainland China.

Ironically, when ROC was founded in 1912, Taiwan was part of Japan. ROC even had a Chinese consulate in Taihoku/Taipei.
Taiwan doesn’t claim to be China. It is KMT that escaped to Taiwan in 1949 that claims.
Taiwan is now democracy and Taiwanese are free to vote. KMT is not the ruling party anymore.
Taiwan is now ruled by DPP which was founded in Taiwan and is pro Taiwan independence.
About 90% of Taiwan’s population has nothing to do with the foundation of ROC. Nowadays most Taiwanese including many KMT followers don’t claim to be China.
Taiwan was a territory snatched by Japan from the Qing Dynasty. Japan was defeated in 1945, and the Japanese troops stationed in Taiwan surrendered to the Republic of China, returning Taiwan to the Republic of China. Legally speaking, Taiwan belongs to China. Only which China is the real legal dispute, so the United Nations will not recognize Taiwan as a country. Even if Taiwan wants to become independent, it is only a matter of China's internal affairs and will not rise to an international issue.

Because they (ROC) have already been independent since 1912, which is way earlier than PRC. They’re just claiming that they’re independent from PRC, while they have been independent for a long time. But PRC says there’s only one China in the world which is PRC, so the people in ROC have no choice to identify themselves as Taiwan not China or it will be misleading. If ROC claims that there’s two Chinas, PRC and ROC, then PRC’s gonna say something like they’re splitting the country or it violates the one China policy blablabla.
