I love doing this card trick ! Always get insane reactions! I do a different version where it's just false cuts and double lifts...but I like this one better as there's more variations! I always do the glide with the deck held in a further biddle grip because I saw many magicians do the move and always thought it seems unnatural to do it with the deck sideways. But I must say the way you did it felt very natural and with the flow! Amazing ! Wow your study of these tricks is actually very respectable! Great work!
Thanks man, I really appreciate that so much!! 🙏🙏 I've been playing around with that (or a similar) version as well, with double lifts. It's less variation, but it's easier to set up on the fly. The drawback with the version I teach here is the somewhat complex set-up, which can be hard to do in front of spectators. I've also played with a version where I switch all 3 cards at the same time at the end of the trick (like a top change but with 3 cards), so yeah there are a lot of methods to experiment with! 😀 And I actually agree with you when it comes to the glide, I saw your discussion of it in the Chris Pratt video and yeah, doing it from biddle grip is more natural! I'm just a creature of habit and that's why I still do it the old fashioned way 😆

You are correct: ,to the lay person this trick is mind blowing, but to the hobbyist magician there is enough sleights to be perhaps challenging but achievable. This is not in Card College, but in Inner Secrets by Dai Vernon. However, Giobbi discusses it in one of his CC videos, either for volume 3 or 4 🙂
