Echoes feels like a life, death and rebirth experience to me. The beginning looking like a day to day cycle until an empty void of nothingness hits us and then a tune of ascension bring us back to continue the day to day cycle
Echoes is a song about human empathy. And it is indeed supposed to represent a lifespan. Starting with discovery, then sinking into depression, before being freed by a realisation of the love around you
@@andrewellis712 @AndrewDraga For the uninitiated, Blue’s Clues is a kid’s TV show that ran its first series with a guiding character named Steve, (who was played by an actual guy named Steve) who acted as sort of an older sibling to the viewer. As the show grew in popularity, he felt more anxiety from the pressure to be a good role model, and the line between Steve the character and Steve the guy became more and more blurred. He also started losing his hair which made him look older than he was. All of these factors together ended with him deciding to leave the show, with his final episode being about him leaving to go to college, and being replaced by another dude named Joe. It was very traumatic due to how painfully realistic it was, and how Steve effectively really left his family on TV (Blue, Mr salt and Mrs pepper, side table drawer, etc.) AND the viewer forever.

I could live my entire life only listening to Pink Floyd. And I’m a music FANATIC. Literally walk around with my Bluetooth speaker IN HAND lol. They ARE that good
@zackari6063 David Gilmour said in interviews that after Syd got out of the band, he stopped completely with LSD and gradually stopped with other drugs, I don't know about the other members though
@@zackari6063 They all tried psychedelics in the syd era, thats why their live performances were so long and experimental. I played the wall album thought it was a song for the first 10 mins I thought why in the world is it like 4 part 10 minute doing then I looked and realized they all connected almost perfectly
one of my turns is timed so perfectly I cant stop laughing. oh and I have seen those cringey ass 3d cartoons about china and usa and india fit surprisingly well in mother out of all songs
Bro i swear that "shine on you crazy diamond" first guitar lick literally send me to heaven everytime
i remember when Aussie Pink Floyd played in Montreal and when the lick started, my mom and I already knew we were in for the trip of our lifes.

This band has a lot of talent, too bad they make such short songs 🤷♂
@@franpp257 yea animals too, the first and last tracks go on for too long imo but the others are very short and sweet
i love echoes but it shouldn't be that short :C
Check Shine On Your Crazy Diamond, it's their shortest song.
yeah isnt dogs such a short song its so sad its so short
my dad said that pink floyd has a lot of long songs, they just seem short because you're having such a good time

"Hey you" is so accurate

Fun fact, the band was high while making most of their songs, which is why they're so long.
