Conclave players have been using the Roll Dash cancel for a while now, called the Mexian. Emotes are much more broken than you'd think, keep messing with them. There's a lot more than just movement tech. Fun fact: You can do melee combos off of walls if you hold the crouch button next to a wall and melee during wall latch. You can combine this with the Roll Dash. It's also possible to get a Bullet Jump input during that entire sequence. I have some clips with an input overlay of me doing Bullet Jump Wall Mexians. Some more weird movement stuff: -Being able to Slide during a Slam, applying the Slide damage multiplier -Rolling after every odd shot of an Akimbo secondary doing an oddly quick dash with a different animation -You can Roll Dash/Mexian with slide attack momentum. Try Daggers or Sparring slide kicks
Didn't know that it was called the Mexian, never heard it before. I have started using emotes a lot more since I found out about the emote cancel, not just for movement. What else can you do with it? I knew you could do melee combos of wall latch, but why crouch? Also I would love to see how Bullet Jump Wall Mexians work.
My clan and I use to do the mexian (didn't know it was called that) back when operator swapping was instant with no cooldown. Back in the focus 1.0 era, we'd also be able to do wall attacks, operator cast and emote cancel for crazy momentum. I left the game after the level scaling changes and I'm just coming back but it's cool to see guys like you and the video poster still finding stuff like this
This is INSANE, I didn't know some of this stuff was actual mechanics, I guess its so second nature to me sometimes or maybe just "bugs" that keep on happening semi consistently. Kudos for explaining this in detail

If anyone has gotten a macro so we can see the timings of the presses that would be great.
@unodemuchos1154 What you can do is bind the buttons in a better way. So for example binding roll to scroll wheel. That way your thumb doesn't need to move from space to alt so you get more control of timing. I got this after a few minutes of testing with Roll on scroll wheel down: ruclips.net/video/yEmCmoZPblI/видео.html I don't really know how to show/explain it further than I already have. another tech that i'd like to mention is that you can dash cancel excalibur's 1. i thought this was some kind of bug, but i guess it's one of the hidden tech. i tried this tech like last year or 2, hopefully they haven't patched this tho.
@user-wv4bo5oh7r just cast his 1 (but be sure there's enemy nearby) and quickly roll forward. it's like immediately cancelling the dash and its super fast.
OK so I figured out you can bind jump to your scroll wheel to make the void dash cancel INSANELY easy, just bullet jump, double tap your transference bind, and when the transition from Operator to Warframe is about halfway done, start scrolling and holding right click to aim glide, you get crazy speed.
@@Orphioux yup, its more consistent in the air than on the ground, but if you time your transference inputs and scrolling correctly, its possible, rather than trying to input it and failing miserably. This was a great help. For the void dash cancel, I find it for myself it helps to try and time transference back in about at the same time the Void Dash happens. Before I was thinking about it as a sequence and it kept tripping me up. Also, I've noticed that you can sometimes get it "late" and get a slower speed boost. Early on, sometimes I'd do it too late and do the cancel without any speed. I figured that maybe your frame needs to still be mid air for it to work?
