YOO THATS ME!! thanks for being super chill I appreciate all the tips
Glad you like the video! Reach out if you ever need something skateboarding related, all the best :)
Why is there only one reply to this comment?
Following her channel now, thanks Rikki
It's as hard to learn as a musical instrument, only every time you mess up you get a little hurt.
That’s what I tell my students.when you try this scale, if you fail at least you won’t fall down a 5 stair
I'm documenting my start as a skateboarder on YT as well, and the hardest thing about skateboarding is mostly seeing how smooth experienced skaters and their tricks are, and just accepting you're still at the foot of the mountain. Gotta learn how to walk before you run
Sounds good!
Don't worry, you'll get there eventually if you stick with it. But I know what you mean. I had the same feeling when I was getting into it for the first time. It's even worse now though because I stopped skating for several years so I can do only basic tricks and not even every try. It's frustrating when I know how much better I was at one point and I can't just get it all back instantly. Just yesterday I was at skatepark, most people there were killing it and I almost couldn't even kickflip on flat ground 🙄
Im gonna Watch it and sub i love those types of videoes
She's a natural. Fingers crossed that she keeps on skateboarding.
Been skating for 2 years now and I'm constantly seeing new skaters skate around our town, me and the boys love helping them out, it's amazing to see alot more people skating and sharing our love for this beautiful sport 😎
Ay bro , everyone starting to skate, I saw like a lil group of teens with boards today I got so excited hahah I think I scared them off tho looking like a gorilla across the road pumping my skateboard in the air 😂😂
@@CallMeCheesy3 hahaha, it generally makes me smile... Imma start pumping my board in the air at them 😎🕺
I love she's seriously trying to skate proper and not just look cool; learning to skate is great character building too ..
This was actually a really great video! Love the reactions to these sorts of videos
Great Video. I just picked up Skate boarding again... looking forward to learning again. Skateboarding was my mode of transportation when I was younger aside from the Bus!
Ricky u got me back into skateboarding love from North Carolina ❤
Skating at the highest level of switching to a Ollie and making the adjustment of a similar style to a Andrew Reynolds style
I’m just learning to skate thank you so much
No comply impossible. 😍😍😍😍 Such a fan trick.
The laugh! You crack me up Rick! 😂
Way better than the other tiktokers she actually took it seriously and approached it from the right place (the fundamentals)
As long as you keep getting on the board, despite your fear of how you get on the board and the anxiety of the culture around that, is a big win. She ended up actually having fun even though it was a "content" challenge. You land your first ollie and the hype becomes very very real.
I wish I could get a park near me in dover-foxcroft Maine so my 48 oldfart @$$ could get back into it... I have to travel to few hours away to get to a park.. but I wanted to teach my younger kids or at least try to teach them how to . I have 2 adults kids from my first ex wife and 3 little kids with my 3rd ex wife that I got custody of our kids.. I have like over 100 skateboards from original 80s and 90s wide boards and few popsicle boards and some reissue and bootleg boards. But I collect
can still do a lot on flat ground? maybe build a small quarter, get a few rails, maybe a box, we set this stuff up on our street/sidewalk all the time when we were younger and didnt have cars to get to parks
Nice video
thanks!
a few hours? I love the commitment
Yo do you think will she still keep on skating in the future or its just a one time thing for her
Shes real... It's interesting...Much like your non-sk8ting content. Keep it up and heal faster!
How did your first time skateboarding go?
only slammed once my first day so not too bad, coming up on a month now
Every day feels like the first time. It's always worth it.
My blue swollen ankle says not so good😂
First days are going okay for now 🎉
Uhh I’d rather not say but I’m CRAP at it my best thing I can do is a kick turn
Honestly any attempt to learn to skate is awesome
Big fan Ricky
Thanks!
Those ABEC 3's have brakes.
as someone who's starting tomorrow, what the fuck is the right side? haha
Haha sick! You need to find if youre regular or goofy (aka which foot forward) but what im referring to is how she jumps on the board. You want to be on the side with your heels closest to the board
I hate that is skaters have such a bad stigma. 99.9% of us really enjoy helping new skaters. I realize they look at us doing it our entire lives and think it is easy. Then they try it. I will stop my session to coach a noob anytime. I end up doing what I want in between and make someone feel confident and comfortable. I really hope they progress and have as much fun as we have trained our bodies to do also.
My advice as a beginner is to just keep skating and go at your own pace.
How appropriate to have UK representative in honour of King Charles lll's Coronation.
Choke brit.
3:15 one footed one wheel manual? hahaha
Broooo I been skating like half year an before like month I land my first kikflip and... this is harder then I expected but really fun. (Pls react)
Keep it up
I uploaded a similar video, although it ended pretty badly with a lot of frustration, would be cool to hear your thoughts on it.
the kids next door and I will skate the ramp and they get upset that they have to learn how to skate while this old man makes it look fun and easy
You should take a look at mike boyds video learn how to kickflip if you havent already.
Yeah hes great! I reacted to it here ruclips.net/video/EfU6cL_TC8M/видео.html
Had doubts you already made a video about him, will check it out!
Y'all catch the Back To The Future Easter Egg?
Im 32 and just starting 😂
I'll be 32 in September and I'm getting my 1st board in like 13 years cause I learned I pushed mongo and that's not right lmao😂 I'm also 340 pounds and I lost 45 pounds already. 120 more and I'm gonna learn to Ollie and kick flip lol until then I'm gonna get comfortable on my board
Have fun and stay safe on your skateboard journey my friend
her board changed
she needs to get skate shoes
lol why does everyone start with super loose trucks and absolutely NO knee bend

Thx for the feedback, what type of vids are you interested in?
@@rickyglaser stuff like you did at the berrics. And also adventure vids like that one lawless land vid. Was epic man. Anything where you're having fun. And also shredding! Take care man. Many blessings to you and yours. Happy late birthday to your g'ma!
@@mannyserrano5552 thanks! All the best
I have a challenge for her. Skateboard for 10 months without 10kg of make-up and cameras filming every emotion. And do it because you want to Skateboard. Not for social media attention
