Or just roll it on a glass plate on your working table and sit on a chair and look between the axle and the glass plate for an air gap. Just remember to have the washer end off to the side of the table and plate or else the air gap is going to be really big.
Good one. They aren`t the same height, they`re crudely made. They don`t have to be the same height, they just have to stay firmly in place, the only motion should be rotation of work piece being measured.
