Khe Sanh was where our U.S. Marine Corps "Grunts" were under siege by 3 NVA Regiments in 1968. & Aussie Special Ops (& more;) were with us in 'Nam in '65 to '72. We'll Never Forget!
My new song ''2024'' is OUT NOW EVERYWHERE. What are your thoughts?
Three NVA regiments.
Regarding 'Nam music, two '80's metal bands were: "Hanoi Rocks" & "Saigon Kicks", with the names of both North & South Vietnam's Capitol cities. Anybody know anything about them? 🤔
@@CrustyRetiredMarine I edited mine accordingly. And I thank you for all you are and did. Especially because "There's no such thing as an ex-Marine!" of any age.
Lest we forget 🇦🇺🇺🇸
This is rock n roll not country. This band was huge in Australia in the 80's. This is called pub rock. in the 80's on a Saturday night, you could find in pubs all over Australia bands like Cold Chisel, INXS, Midnight Oil, The Models, The Angels, Divinyls, Australian Crawl, Rose Tatto, The Radiators, Hunters & Collectors, Icehouse, Noiseworks, The Choir Boys, Hoodoo Gurus, Mental as Anything and many more. These bands were huge and accessible to fans, in pubs all over Australia. Some went on to international fame, others were just huge in Australia. Before the internet in the 80s, every Thursday afternoon a free magazine would be out at train stations, street corners in bins (not rubbish bins lol), called the Gig Guide. You would get this free magazine to see what pubs and venues your favorite bands were playing that wknd. The good old days the 80s.
Great days for seeing music live every weekend!
And AC/DC back in the early/mid 70's.
I always thought it was a country melody.Infact the first time I heard the song a friend said, "you will like this, it sounds like something Jerry Jeff Walker would do".
I saw everyone on that list, multiple times, except INXS, I thought them too commercial. But what an era. Glad you mentioned the Radiators, they supported The Angels a lot, it made for a great night out. I remember when Midnight Oil first started out, they sold copies of their first cassette at the door. :)
I remember once, Angry, shaking the sweat off his head onto the drum skins, and it would bounce right back off. I always waited for Peter Garratt to do the same thing but no. LOL.
Crikey mate. I'd forgotten all about the gig guide. Wow you've now brought back so many memories of the Prossie, (Prospect Hill Hotel), the Sentimental Bloke, the Commercial, the Cricketers Arms, The Derby, The Station, The Village Green, The New Orleans Tavern, The South Yarra Arms, The palace, The Sydney Myer Music Hall, and of course Festival Hall and the ultimate The Espy. Hah, I worked on the door of the Espy when I was 18 in 1986/87 and man the heads that walked through that door back then. Met Bowie there, Annie and Dave, Michael Hutchence and some of the band, Mark Seymour, The Finn Bro's, and of course the most well know poof, or at least known as a poof, Molly Hum Drum Meldrum, Between rubbing shoulders with their like and getting laid nearly every night I was in heaven and didn't even know it. God they were bloody good times.
If you like the harmonica, you will love 'Bow River'. You will be astounded.
But make sure you do the live version from 2003.
Ringside version for sure 🙌🏻 the Harmonica just makes that performance epic I think
I 3rd it with the live version
That 2003 live version was more than a concert, it was a musical history event, so awesome.👏
Agree and also in that concert the song “when the war is over”
Both are a must see
Undisputed Australian rock royalty right there. In Australia, they’re as big as AC/DC. They’re currently getting the band back together to do a fifty year reunion tour.
YES!!! Can’t wait….and they are coming to ‘Canberra whoop whoop

This is virtually a national anthem in Australia. Cold Chisel respect.
I thought it was the national anthem!
Australia's unofficial national anthem along with Great Southern Land.
How right you are my friend.
@@tbirdsteve1 With the Yahoo Serious video clip.
Sadie, the Cleaning Lady.
I've never heard that song. Never heard of the band. But that was a great introduction!! Can't wait to hear more by Cold Chisel. 🏅🔥
You won't be sorry.
You don't know how right you are. They are one of the greatest bands ever.
Way too Aussie convict, non politically correct and unfussed about christianity to have world wide success. They are the epitome of RAW! :)
Take a dive and enjoy. If you enjoyed this make Flame Trees the next one as it’s also story telling
Australia’s greatest ever rock band. Legends here Down Under.
All on youtube!!
Nearly every Aussie knows this song , it’s an anthem now , we love Chisel here it’s burned into our souls ❤
Cold Chisel songs to listen to, Bow River, Cheap Wine, Flame Trees, Forever Now, when the war is over. Lots more
“Bow River” from the Ringside concert 2003 - Cold Chisel at their absolute best. CC have 2 lead singers and they both shine in this song. The harmonica solo alone is worth the listen
Cold chisel sings many genres from pop, pub rock, rock, country, blues etc
Plus Jimmy barnes their lead singer has duets with Tina Turner, INXS and a phenomenal song with John Farnham
Absolutely must hear.
The absolute best!!!
"That's not a harmonica solo - THIS is a harmonica solo!"
Seriously though, that wasn't really a harp "solo" - nearly the whole song was carried by Dave Blight and his outstanding harmonica playing!
As an Aussie, I have so much respect for you guys stepping out of your world and seeking communication of the rest of the world. You are the changemakers. Peace!
The song Good Times with INXS is incredible. Jimmy Barnes (Cold Chisel singer) is so unique and complements Michael Hutchence so much
My new song ''2024'' is OUT NOW EVERYWHERE. What are your thoughts?
Jimmy Barnes and Tina Turner... Simply the best!
Great suggestion
Good Times was written by George Young, brother of Angus and Malcolm Young. He also produced the first several ACDC albums.
Hi guys now you've had a taste of chisel, check out Australian story, cold chisel outside looking in. You'll learn a lot about us, sorry about the accent you'll understand when you see it
Lots of songs to check out from these guys. Forever Now, Flame Trees, When the War is Over, Bow River, My Baby. Iconic Aussie band.
My new song ''2024'' is OUT NOW EVERYWHERE. What are your thoughts?
I'd add another personal favorite in "Four Walls" also. Cheers!
And Ita. My favourite
Oh yes, Flame Trees and The war is over- two classics!
Cold Chisel was a Pub Rock band.one of our best. The band broke up, Jimmy went solo. He did a duet with our John Farnham, whom you already know. The song is When Something Is Wrong With My Baby. FANTASTIC !!! OZ was spoilt for great bands in the 60 S and 70s. Ah those were the days.
I've been dying for them to react to When Something is Wrong with My Baby, now that they've finally done a Barnsey song fingers crossed it will be soon.
@@revylucian8289Yes yes yes please!!!
Cold Chisel! This is an iconic Australian song. A out a Vietnam vet whi cant settle down. Jimmy Barnes, the lead is a much loved singer over here. Suggest Stone Cold

Yes! With Joe Bonamossa. I've requested it a couple of times.

Woo hoo, finally did Cold Chisel. Great reaction guys. Pls do some of their other songs, Bow River, Cheap wine, Forever Now, My baby, Standing on the outside & so many more great Chisel songs. Jimmy Barnes (lead singer) also has an extensive solo career. Can’t wait for you to react to some of these.
Not to forget "Flame Trees"
@@markzellmer3223 include working class man in that.
Hi to both of you from Melbourne, Australia. Khe Sanh is the unofficial national anthem for whole generations of Australians here Australia committed substantial military forces during the Vietnam War. The big Australian engagements included Long Tan, and Operation Silver City (mentioned in the lyrics), amongst others. Aussie spec forces worked with their US counterparts and on their own as well. The lyrics are definitely in an Australian context, and reflective of that time period. Whilst Khe Sanh has a folk/country thread weaved through it, Cold Chisel is definitely a rock band. Jimmy Barnes is an Aussie Legend! Really enjoying your content! Looking forward to more Aussie and Kiwi tunes as well. Cheers!
COLD CHISEL - WHEN THE WAR IS OVER (LIVE) please. Jimmy is an absolute legend.
Been given When The War is Over to perform for a community theatre concert, glad I've got a few weeks of rehearsals and have my son helping.
Hope I do Barnesy justice,
Studio version much better for this song
You’ve really opened up a rabbit hole now with this reaction, you’ve not only discovered Cold Chisel, but now you have Jimmy Barnes, (lead singer/ songwriter, one of the best gravely voices ever, awesome solo career with a rock/ blues influence) as well as Ian Moss, ( lead singer, lead guitarist, songwriter) awesome solo career, more rock/ ballad influenced, and another iconic band that have been around for 50 years. A very deep and amazing rabbit hole indeed.
Mick Fleetwood played drums on tracks on his first solo album
You forgot Don Walker. Song writer extraordinaire.
As an Aussie i was irate as soon as you called this country
They are an Aussie national treasure. So many good songs. Also the lead singer Jimmy Barnes has a lot of amazing songs.
He did a duet with INXS too!!
Duets with Tina Turner, John Farnham and that Stone Cold song is brilliant too
Had the pleasure of seeing Jimmy supporting ZZ Top in mid 80's.
Jimmy started " gonna have a good time tonight" (which was a huge hit at the time in Aussie and NZ) then he stopped and said he needed some help......and Michael Hutchence came on and the stadium (about 50,000. People) erupted.
Unbelievable.....
Definitely not Country 😂 This would be classified to me as Pub Rock, a genre that Cold Chisel has filled for many years. Try Cheap Wine for another example of their work or Flame Trees for something a little softer.
The greatest Australian rock band ever.
Must see them live 'Bow River' - live the Ringside version or 'Wild Thing' - live at the last Stand Tour - greatest live track ever.
Please do Jimmy Barnes and John Farnham duet ‘Something is wrong with my baby’. So good 😊 ❤
Also with Diesel another great singer and guitarist.
Great song!
The live version from Hey Hey it’s Saturday.
So good
They arent ready for the awesomeness that is that song
Cold Chisel,Bow River, live 2003 is a must. You will love the harmonica in this one;and also Ian (Mossy) Moss voice. Two great voices together!
Cold Chisel are about to embark on a huge tour in Australia to celebrate their 50 years !!
Jimmy Barnes - unmistakable voice of the GOAT
Absolutely 👍
Another Australian band (with some New Zealand members) is Crowded house - World Where You Live, Something So Strong, Better Be Home Soon, Weather With You, It's Only Natural. Some one with more knowledge can recommend music from the New Zealand band before this called Split Enz which featured Crowded House member Neil Finn and his brother Tim. A couple of their songs were I Got You, Message To My Girl and Six Months in a Leaky Boat. As a solo artist Tim Finn had a song called hit the ground running, which you could also react to.
My new song ''2024'' is OUT NOW EVERYWHERE. What are your thoughts?
I guess if you can call Kiwi Neil Finn being the lead Vocalist, guitarist and primary songwriter as 'some New Zealand members' then yeah Crowded House is from Oz 🤣
@@JohnnyXoz I hear you, lol. They've reacted to them before but always seem to forget about them.
@@JohnnyXoz Formed and based in Melbourne with one 'Kiwi' makes it an Aussie band no matter who did what or where anyone came from, but I suppose depressing and irrelevant NZ has to cling to whatever it can.

When I was a kid, through the '70s, teachers used to bang on about Ernest Hemingway. They told us Hemingway "Captured the spirit of the age." If you wanted to know what the psychology was like, the mood, the mind-set, the social dynamics, if you wanted to know what the 1930s felt like ~ read Hemingway. Ok ~ as a child of the '70s and a young adult of the '80s, Cold Chisel captured the spirit of the age. You want to know what it was like to be young in Australia, in early '80s ~ listen to Cold Chisel. They captured the spirit of the age. Listen to Cheap Wine ~ Saturday Night ~ Beau River ~ Standing on the Outside ~ Four Walls ~ Breakfast at Sweethearts ~ Star Hotel. LOL ~ you want to know what it's like to be part of a riot? Whether you're 8 or 80, aussies know many cold chisel songs.

Please also do the live session with Jimmy Barnes and Joe Bonamassa 🙏
This song was banned on Australian radio for the lyrics. Eventually the industry understood it couldn’t be ignored. Greatest pub rock band in Australia ever.
This is the second time you've listed Aussie bands you've listened to and omitted Little River Band.

@@user-bc6ph3yd1l Yes!
The genre is 'Pub Rock' here is AUS. I can't believe it's taken so long for you to react to them, they're one of our most loved & iconic bands, even more so than some of the others you mentioned.
The genre would be Pub Rock.
Cold Chisel have just announced and sold out their 50th anniversary tour in Australia, happening later this year.
You could do a Chisel week and not run out of brilliance. Some reactor favourites though are
Bow River. (Harmonica for days)
When the war is over.
(both of those from the 2008 ringside concert).
Their cover of Wild Thing from The Last Stand is a perfect example of their young rock days.
And then there’s the lead singer, (well the primary lead singer), Jimmy Barnes with an amazing solo career. You could start with his duets though.
With John Farnham- When something is wrong with my baby
With INXS - Good Times
With Joe Bonamassa - Stone Cold
And then Rob Squad, you would just be scratching the surface
Love this- harmonica for days..❤🎉
A song that every Australian knows, and it can bring both tears and smiles at the same time.
“Forever Now” my all time fave Chisel song, looking forward to when y’all react to it one day. Also Jimmy Barnes the lead singer is one of the best Rock vocals of all time. Check out the Cold Chisel guitarist Ian Moss solo song “Tucker’s Daughter”, feel y’all with vibe with that song too Fam 👊🏽😊.

Just bought tickets to see Cold Chiesel in concert later this year. Cannot wait and its a tick off the bucket list.
I love this song (as an Aussie, you’d probably be kicked out of the country if you didn’t say that), but my 3 favourites from Cold Chisel are 1. Flame Trees 2. Bow River 3. Breakfast At Sweethearts
She said 'standing on the outside looking in'
😊
Nothing but respect for our ANZAC and ROK allies. Pure badasses.
They just recently announced a reunion tour and new album so maybe that’s why you’ve been getting a few extra requests for them. They are an iconic Aussie Pub Rock band since the late 70s. Bow River is a must, bluesy rock with guitarist Ian Moss singing lead on that one 💕 But you need to do the official video so you can actually see the band cos Jimmy is quite the wild character on stage!! Other Chisel songs: Forever Now; When the war is over; My Baby; Flame Trees. Then you need to do some solo Jimmy Barnes: I’d Die to Be With You Tonight; Let’s make it last all night; Lay Down Your Guns; Too Much Ain’t Enough Love.
Dragon - April Sun in Cuba
Another Kiwi band that the Aussies call theirs!
@@brettcurtis5710 oh wow - I didn’t know that (or maybe i’d forgotten!) . When i was in highschool and hearing their music they were always an Australian band as so many NZ bands were claimed of back then.

The most well known Australian song of all time. This is quintessential 80s Australian pub rock
If you want your mind blown, listen to Cold Chisel's lead singer Jimmy Barnes duet with our legendary John Farnham, singing 'If something is Wrong with my Baby'. The official version is great. So is the live vocal on a variety show called "Hey Hey it's Saturday". Jimmy's brother-in-law Diesel throws in a third harmony at the end in the live version.
Jimmy also did a cover version of Simply the Best with Tina Turner.
One of my favourites
@@carokat1111 It's better than all the rest.
Khe Sanh is an unofficial Aussie national anthem. So pleased you guys reviewed it. The lead singer, Jimmy Barnes is a native Scot who emigrated to Australia.
Also please check out the Aussie band Hunters and Collectors with their song Say Goodbye or Holy Grail. You’ll love them too.
Cold chisel also has a song called Standing On The Outside Looking In.
A real banger.
Love how you guys opened up the Cold Chisel account with their most iconic track ever! These guys have been around since the mid 70's here in Australia, and had some really big hits in the late 70's and early to mid 80's. They also made a come back in more recent years, so feel free to check some of those out! Some recommended suggestions are: "You Got Nothing I Want", "Flame Trees", "Saturday Night", "Cheap Wine", "My Baby", "Choir Girl", and "Forever Now", just to name a few. They have quite an extensive back catalogue, hope you both enjoy the ride! Looking forward to riding it with you 💖💖
Cold Chisel one of the best bands to come out of Australia - lead singer Jimmy Barnes is a star in his own right too!! For a similar Aussie take on Vietnam check out Redgum, I Was Only 19!! Bow River, Flame Trees and my favourite Breakfast at Sweethearts pls!!
My new song ''2024'' is OUT NOW EVERYWHERE. What are your thoughts?
All five band members wrote their own songs, so asking what's next is a great question, haha. I'm sure others have said that this song's an unofficial national anthem, and Chisel are touring for their 50th anniversary. So another loved one is Flame Trees, plus Forever Now (which the drummer cowrote/wrote respectively), Saturday Night and/or When the War is Over, so you can hear guitarist Ian Moss take lead vocals too. Cheap Wine, and Choir Girl are iconic in their own ways too!
Cold Chisel also have a song called “When The War Is Over” which is covered spectacularly by another Aussie icon singer John Farnham. Well worth a listen to both versions.
Cold Chisel is a great group, and this is probably my favorite song by them. Jimmy Barnes is one of my all time favorites! Workin' Class Man, When Your Love is Gone, I'd Die to be With You Tonight, Still on Your Side... OMG, what a performer, and what a voice One of the top screamers of rock! Hope you react to more of him.
Bow River. Bow River. Bow River All time greatest harmonica playing you will ever hear will blow your mind must be the live version from early 2000
This is one that brings up the emotional impact of thinking about the young soldiers who gave their lives during the Vietnam War. I was a DJ on an AOR station playing this when it was current music.
Leading singer, Jimmy Barnes. You say you’re on the “outside looking in” another Chisel song!

Prepare for a tonne of views and more requests for this band. Aussie legends. Just announced their 50th anniversary tour, it sold out in an hour at big venues, and now they've announced more shows due to demand on sale next week. Expecting that to sell out quickly.
Love the muted smile by the guy when Jimmy Barnes sings "their legs were often open but minds were always closed".
He got it
Little River Band are Aussies. You could even claim the Bee Gees. But for more Cold Chisel, then listen to 'When the War is Over'.
The lead singers name is Jimmy Barnes and you should react to “Stone cold” by Jimmy and Joe Bonamassa.
Other cold chisel songs to do is “Bow river” the live version. The harmonica in this is awesome.
You guys forgot the Little river band are Australian too.
Midnight oil next song, “Power and passion”
Yes! Their music is a source of national pride for many of us. "When The War Is Over" is another one of theirs to check out. For another Aussie singer and a happier summer vibe song, check out Daryl Braithwaite and his song "One Summer".
So glad you did the lyric video. Such an important song, and the message has me in tears as usual.

Great South Australian band!! 2 great singers in this band. The lead on "Khe Sanh" was Jimmy Barnes. Try 'My Baby" or "Bow River" with Ian Moss on lead vocals. Many great songs from this band.
Quintessential Aussie Pub Rock, saw them live many times, they told our stories on our vernacular, not some pseudo American accent.
So many great Aussie bands in the 70's and 80's, these guys are definitely Aussie Rock royalty.

Yes!!! I'd given up on asking for Cold Chisel. There's an extensive list of next songs, but I'm going to say "Bow River". There are two live videos that get a lot of reviews on here, but I personally prefer the studio version to listen to first for context. Also as someone else has said they have a song called Standing on the Outside Looking In as well!

What a killer song
Australia has a lot of people who were born overseas, like the US. The groups or artists below either formed or started their professional careers in Australia. Some moved overseas for larger audiences or later on for tax or lifestyle purposes.
Aussie performers you have covered:
AC/DC (3 members born in Scotland, moved over while children. Phil (drums) is Aussie born, Brian is English)
Air Supply (formed in Australia with one of the two members from England)
Andy Gibb (this is probably the most arguable along with Natalie. Andy moved back and forth between Australia and the UK, his first single was in Australia)
Bee Gees (3 brothers born on the Isle of Man, Barry was ~12 when they moved to Australia)
Cold Chisel (singer born in Scotland, moved when 5, drummer born in England, moved when 17)
Crowded House (formed in Australia with one Kiwi and two Aussies)
Divinyls
Helen Reddy
Icehouse
INXS
John Farnham (English born, moved when he was 10)
John Paul Young (born in Scotland, moved when he was 11)
Keith Urban (born New Zealand, moved when he was 2)
Little River Band (Included English and Dutch born founding members)
Men at Work (Colin born in Scotland, moved at 14)
Midnight Oil
Natalie Imbruglia (didn't start singing career until she was in England, was Australian soap actress before that and widely known in the UK because of it)
Olivia Newton-John (born in England, moved when she was 5)
Rick Springfield
Savage Garden (Daniel born in England, moved when a year old)
The Seekers (Keith born in Ceylon, now known as Sri Lanka)
Peeps let me know if I have missed any.
You've kicked the door open, so now you need to walk into the Cold Chisel room. So many great tunes to choose: When the War is Over, Four Walls, Flame Trees, Bow River, Goodbye Astrid, Saturday Night....the list goes on.
The lead singer, Jimmy Barnes, has more #1 albums in Australia (solo and as Cold Chisel) than the Beatles. Much loved band and singer. Check our the performance of Stone Cold as an older Jimmy teams with Joe Bonamassa. Great blues song and both their performances are exceptional.
True! I became a fan when I heard him with INXS. Much like I had never heard of John Farnham until he joined the Little River Band, which actually upset me because it changed their sound. However, I do like Farnham's solo material. Huge fan of Jimmy Barnes. I find Jimmy Barnes a bit similar to Joe Cocker at times.

Bow River from the ringside concert 2003 is a absolute classic
Must hear.
If you ever want to find Aussies in a crowd, play Khe Sanh. Flame trees should be your next chisel song.
Whatever you listen to of Chisel do the live version. Started as a pub band & ended up one of our best live acts. Jimmy Barnes can sing anything. A great blues rock voice coming from his Scottish roots but every member of the band were exceptional artists.
Formed in 1973 and a product of the same Aussie hard rock scene as their contemporaries AC/DC, Cold Chisel were the one that (mostly) stayed in Australia. I think you need to see initially their cover of "Wild Thing" from the Last Stand tour in 1983 when they first called it quits (or the 'official' version). Their music is very diverse and showcases the immense talent of this band. They have two great singers, and lead singer Jimmy Barnes has continued with a huge solo career. Between his two careers, he has had more Australian no.1 albums than any other artist.
Thanks for bringing back my memories, countless times in Sydney watching Jimmy & the Boys, best Aussie band of all time.
Cold Chisel/Jimmy Barnes/Ian Moss, all worthy of a reaction play, Working Class Man, Tucker's Daughter, Flame Trees, too many to choose from!
Courtney Barnett is another Aussie who is an incredible wordsmith singer and guitarist. Highly encourage you give her a listen.
Hey guys. A 1970s band from my little old hometown Adelaide who went on to become one of the most popular acts ever in Australia. Some of their rockier songs: Rising Sun, You Got Nothing I want, Bow River, Star Hotel, Shipping Steel, Standing on the Outside, Cheap Wine. For another great ballad listen to Flame Trees.
Split Enz - I Got You
Split Enz - History Never Repeats
Split Enz - One Step Ahead
Split Enz are from New Zealand.
@@jollyroger1009 Doesn’t matter if they’re from NZ, they’re just recommending songs & other bands in the comments section like most other people 👍🏽.
I would add 'Shark Attack'.
@@jollyroger1009 I’m from America, Australia… New Zeland… Tasmania… it’s all the same
And Message to my girl.
Jimmy Barnes is also a solo Artist aswell as the singer for chisel an paul kelly is another story teller also Kasey Chambers
There are few songs that will get this old buffoon of the chair and turn up the volume to a song. This is one of them. Kudos for having the lyrics to this song. It could get lost in translation.
Chisel, as many Aussies call them, have just announced their 50th anniversary tour. Tickets to concerts all around the country sold quickly. There is a bit of Cold Chisel excitement around…maybe that’s why you’ve had suggestions recently.
I’d recommend Flame Trees (live) next. Another Aussie anthem.
It's a real shame that this band did not break through in the American market during their time.
Were told to change their sound by US record companies, they declined and wrote a song about the experience. It's called "nothing I want"
@@terryallen345 They spent a grand total of five and a half weeks touring in the US in their prime it was more on them than the record company, East was released by Elektra but the band were not willing to work the boards and go back to square one to build a following over there.
INXS & AC/DC put the work in to break in the US, as Don Walker says now they should've spent a year over there.
The 80s were the Aussie decade here, but I don't remember Cold Chisel with even a minor hit.
Jimmy Barnes came close with "Good Times", of course with INXS.
You two do such a great job. Such likeable a twosome you are. Wish you lived next door to me!
My new song ''2024'' is OUT NOW EVERYWHERE. What are your thoughts?
Omg where do I start with more Cold Cisel songs. The list is endless. The great thing about this band is you get a taste of everything. From Rock to blues to country to reggae. But I must say that "Bow River" from the 2003 ringside is unbeatable. Such an outstanding performance. A must to listen to. 🎶
Here's a few lesser known Aussie bands
1927 - you never know or don't forget me
Boom crash Opera - onion skin or the best thing
Taxi ride- get set or creeping up slowly.
Choirboys- run to paradise or boys will be boys
Cold chisel - breakfast at sweethearts
Flame Trees should be next. BTW I have never heard anyone call Cold Chisel country or folk in 40 years. Loved the reaction though ❤️❤️
They do a cover of Wild Thing in 1983 in concert you should see that performance
In a way doing Cold Chisel is like doing Tragically Hip from Canada. Although a decade apart, both bands strike the same patriotic chord in their relative countries and a source of native pride for their respective countries.
You might not have known that the Little River Band was also from Australia. Along with Air Supply, Savage Garden, Mental as Anything, The Divinyls, and also the Bee Gees got their start in Australia after they had immigrated from England. There also many other Aussie bands worth listening to. And Cold Chisel are one of the Best. Thanks for your postings from one Rob to Another
