This was well explained. Kudos to you. Other videos just rambled on without really explaining it.

Hey, great review. I've seen quite a few people complain in the reviews on Aldi's website that the pole is too straight which means the chair keeps banging against it when you try to swing. But this doesn't seem to be the case in your video. Could you comment?

      Hey, thank you 🙂
So it’s not meant to be a swinging chair otherwise it wouldn’t have the pole behind it. It comes with a safety strap (which I didn’t show in the video) that attaches the basket to the pole at the back to prevent swinging (although you can still swing a little and enjoy it as I demo’d without hitting the pole)
The description on Aldi’s site makes it clear that it’s not for swinging so guess people are missing that. I quoted it below but it’s clear from the design of it that you can only gently swing on it. Maybe those complaining are swinging too hard?
“Safety strap that helps to keep the chair safely in place while getting in and out of the chair and reduces the chance of swinging, bouncing, jumping or twisting”

Mine is falling me down pls what could be wrong? I was thinking that may be there is a way to tighten it on the ground or something to make it stay

Hey, it happens in the wind especially if the floor isn’t level outside. What I’ve done is added a bag of grit to the front of the base of the egg chair which is preventing it from falling backwards. You can use anything heavy, like a sand bag or something similar. It’s not ideal but if the floor isn’t completely flat then the chair will fall with high winds! Whether you place the bag at the front or the back of the base will depend on where it’s not level in your garden. I hope that helps.
My egg chair hasn’t fallen once since I put the grit bag on the base 👍🏽 regardless of the wind pressure.

It was for £189 but I believe they increased the price to £199 this year.
