- I'm glad to show you some frames form the new part. New mood and character look. New part will give us an answer, where is everyone. It's going to be more interesting, than the first one.
It's far for completing, but I'm trying my best to finish it sooner.
I'll appreciate any help: / holoart I'm saving to rent a render farm because new part will be around 15 minutes!
Any guesses what will happen in the second part ? I'd love to read your thoughts.

Take your time. The first was very captivating. Don't rush great Cinematic Works. Most of us are willing to wait. You needing funding that can make this a movie. I will wait.
The answer to are we alone might be better oriented to-- Are we now alone. The answer in this anime was - There were others once
I have watched Laniakea so many times and marveled. It's so beautiful. I hope you will release part 2 very soon.
It's been two years
As the invasion of Ukraine drags on, I think often of you and others whose time, talents, and lives are being wasted in senseless wars. Unnecessary, trumped-up conflicts like this show that human intelligence is highly overrated. We wage war instead of using reason and intelligence to resolve conflict and promote peace. I wish you the best and hope that you will complete your Laniakea saga soon.
... after that teaser, I'm wondering if each of those individual pods might represent a species/civilization that has been catalogued there. From the rippling of the pod there at the end, it looked like it was forming... possibly for the man who was exploring there.

It could be funnily done IK. sort of like if you are standing on a moving vehicle with a lot of bounce, your legs will flex and shift to try and keep you somewhat stable. Also why the stereotype of pirates or sailors always being drunk wasn't quite true, due to them being so used to the motion and roll of the ocean. That once they set foot on dry land. they became unsteady due to them expecting movetion where there isn't any.
Again great visuals and sense of scale like part 1 and I love the camera angles you used, what an imagination.

Very excellently done film. Great rendered landscape/architecture and a suspenseful premise. Really draws you in. However, when films open this strong, it has been my experience, that they are never able to carry on this strength to the end and end up crumbling from a lack of subtle intellectual planning/a powerful theme to create a final profound conclusion. Stanley Kubrick/Arthur C. Clark's "2001: A Space Odyssey" is the only grand film, I've seen, that is able to carry it's amazing wholeness to the end. "A Cure for Wellness" is an example of a film, which started out very powerfully and by the end had just collapsed into inanity. I hope, that your film will fare better, as such an amazing opening deserves a powerful devolution.

Свой лайк поставил. Да, и я любитель вселенных S.T.A.L.K.E.R., MASS EFFECT, AQUA NOX, так что здесь есть своя атмосфера, и хорошо, что она похожа на знаменитые игровые и литературные вселенные, это значит, что автор идёт своей дорогой, но не забывает стилистику Sci-Fi или похожих жанров.

С анимацией движения тела (и вообще с физикой), правда, нужно что-то делать, но талант найдет свой путь, ищи только, как твой герой.
Костюм c motion-capture найти - в том же BlackWood Games можно спросить. Не помню, они в Киеве или уже офис на пляж в Чили разместили, но на Украине можно в принципе найти и поушн-акторов и железо для них, но всё это стоит финансов.

Just wanted to say i am a BIG FAN of your work! Your alien and surreal style is just amazing and i feel this just contains an immeasurable amount of potential that could create so much new franchises and interesting stories and settings. I would love to know where you got your inspiration from and what suggestions you'd have in literature, movies, games or art.
I am personally really fascinated by the unfathomable. Lovecraft being the classical take on such, but the concepts and settings used in mangas like Blame! and other works from Tsutomu Nihei or in a lot of scifi and horror movies like Dune, Alien, Hellraiser, The Thing, Color out of space, Annihilation (especcially the ending), The mist and Arrival really inspire me to use my imagination and tear away from all the mainstream and more safe idea's and fictions.

the first laniakey episode is a pure marvel, may be my favourite short film on youtube - and I viewed many ! - but I must say, with regret, that the commentaries by the off voice just SPOIL the work. The music and images are really enough, it's a masterpiece !! I hope that there won't be these useless off voice commentaries in the episode to come. Thanks.

отлично! малкенькая ремарочка: плащ у ГГ как-то несоразмерно скорости движения платформы развевается, даже если учесть что там не земная атмосфера или ее вообще нету -- почему-то создается ощущение неестественноси.
ну мож там какое то защитное поле или что то типа того. Компенсирует ускорение но 1-2% проходит.

Due to blackout and war in Ukraine, I can't work normally. When the situation improves, the work will go faster.
Right now I work on my laptop, and I can't do complicated scenes. Even without that, I have something to do, and this small things will help me to finish the second part faster.

Да, как я уже говорил, очень напоминает вселенную Mass Effect, но не боевую часть, а научную. Это как если бы азари-учёная Лиара Т'Сони в поисках следов древнейшей цивилизации протеан искала маяки (монолиты), ну а естественно с ними были связаны и древние ИИ, хранящие знания протоцивилизации, уничтоженной Жнецами. Что-то общее есть, как бы след стиля Дрю Карпишина.
