Just bought it last week. Reserve Privee is a MASTERPIECE.
Would have never picked this up in my 20s. I’m so glad my scent preference has changed in my 30s. This scent refined and more for a mature crowd. Now my favorite night time/date scent now. 🔥 🔥 🔥
I got this delivered from Macy's about a month ago. $92. Good stuff. For this has developed over time. I think I'm really getting more out of fragrances. Especially not smelling one for months. You see how you mature. It's amazing. You don't notice little at time. Like day after day. But wear something that you haven't worn in awile and spray it on.
Also leaving some fragrances once they’ve been used a bit for months can macerate them and can make them stronger.
CORRECTION - "maceration" is done in the production of frags, "maturation" is done when you leave it for a few months once the company has already Macerated it!
This will be my signature scent for upcoming winter months

Just picked this one a week back for £68 in the UK for a 100ml bottle!!! This will be my wedding scent.
Let me share my story with this frag. I blind bought this due to the notes. Love the notes from fragrantica. Got it 5/1 at 11:55 pm Macys last day of sale lol. Picked it up the next day and actually tried it on my wrist while at the store. Wanted to smell it on skin before opening. HATED the smell. Smelled like lipstick. Tried to exchange it to Valentino coral fantasy as I’ve been eyeing that one and really like it. They didn’t have 100ml so I said I’ll wait when you have it to exchange. Got home 2.5 hrs into dry down. Still hates the smell on my wrist. Watched more reviews and everybody loves it. So I said let me open this abs wear it. Took a shower and sprayed 16 times 😆 (that’s how I sample my frags lol). Opening was way better. Mid is yummy. On to the base after an hour or so I was in ❤️❤️❤️. So I kept it and so GLAD Macys didn’t have coral fantasy in stock or I would have missed on this BIG TIME! That’s my story 🥳

i hated this fragrance at first too. smelled like lipstick, but i love it in the cald air smelling directly on skin was not as good.. the same happened with ADG Profumo. it smelled like old man but in the cold air they're both magical
Great review Dallas and I was able to pick myself up a bottle of this fragrance about 3 weeks ago and wow I love it and for me this flanker here is my introduction for me to this whole line, now I'm intrigued about grabbing some of the other flankers 💯🔥😊

Smells like a rich chocolate cake, Iris, and whiskey to me 🥃
This one is a Dark scent for me. Just blind bought it and got a travel size of the boisee.. this one is a mix of Bentley intense for men with Dior homme intense, simple as that! Although doesn't contain leather note, it reproduce that feel, it's a formal and rainy day fragrance. Boisee was love at first sniff. Omg, I'm getting a full bottle. Fresh, clean, and creamy. Just wish the opening could last longer. Longevity seems to be a issue too.

It's 50 F outside. Got some samples and this smells amazing. Granted I typically like fresh scents, but your description of it being a beginner iris fragrance makes sense. I actually want a candle or room spray of this because when my husband left the house I wanted to keep smelling it.
Full dry down smells like SWY Absolutely without the strong sweetness. Agree? ❤️ it tho!

I have bad guts. I need a good strong colonge for the occasional shart. Not only does it project well enough to cover the scent of poo, but it also works with the smell of excitement to hide it. 10/10 .

I got a 100ml bottle of this like a month ago and I already need a new bottle. This juice is amazing and everyone seems blown away by it, myself included. I've tried to purchased the entire Givenchy Gentleman line in the last few months and the only one I haven't been able to find anywhere is the Gentleman EDP. I have the EDP Boisee and that stuff is also amazing. Is it worth it to buy the regular EDP if I already own the EDP Boisee and the Reserve Privee??

I smell the whiskey right away, it reminds me of taking a shot of some 90 proof Woodford reserve or Elijah Craig.

Sorry bud I'm not having a go and I'm sure most people love listening. To me the only ones that convince me is when members of the public do a blind smell test of several and tell us which one smells the best, no professional chat just wow that one smells really nice or smells shiiiiiiiiiite lol.
I've not even tried or bought it yet and I know it's good 😂 I've been saying since it came out, even till now, it's probably the best, definitely my favourite fragrance of the year so far. Plus the notes in this fragrance are great for what I would want in a Fall and Winter fragrance

I went to Macy's sprayed and did not like it :( Ralph's Club was my favorite from spraying dozens but too expensive. We all like what we like :)

This is one of those fragrances where you can't really tell. Some say it lasts 8+ hours, others say it's gone in an hour. I can detect it in the first 1-2 hours and then it becomes a skin scent. It's probably one of those fragrances that have to macerate and gets stronger over time.

I currently have gentlemen Givenchy EDP, I have an opportunity to pick up boise, society and possibly reserve Prive But have not smelled those yet would you consider it to be redundant to own all four? If you can only have two which would they be?
Its amazing. Masculine, elegant and modern but has no performance. Like its older brother.
I find it doesn't last on my skin very long. About 2-4hours max

Today,I went to Nordstorm looking for Dior Farenhight EDP. Did not have it. Smelt this and loved it. But I heard performance is bad. And that the distinguishing whiskey note disappears quickly.

I personally hate the smell, this is what I like about fragrances, our preferences are all subjective and to each their own!
I didn't think it was that great but it keeps growing on me I'm a fan of it now but I think it's a bit overhyped in my opinion
I didn’t like it. Gives me a chocolate coconut vibe and I don’t like coconut and chocolate together. I love the EDP though! I’m going to grab that one!
