I am grateful for your calulations. Would like to see more comparisons between emf meters. Thank you.

Dave, you added an extra 10 in there sir.
    0.2mw x10 isn’t 20mw, it’s only 2mw
    Then x 10 to the 3 equals 2 watts
    So really, 0.2 mW/cm2 = 2 W/m2
    Not 20w/m2!
So I think the meter is actually pretty good!

    Dave,
I agree that you are off by a factor of 10 in your calculations. Should be 2W per meter squared.
Also I am not sure about your comments regarding the effects of RF at higher frequencies regarding the peaks.
Years ago I did a great deal of research on safe levels of microwave exposure. What I found is that there is not universal agreement on what causes I’ll effects from RF energy. Many feel that the damage is caused by cell heating. In that case you are correct. Some feel that chromosome damage is major factor, and the damage is not dependent on cell heating. If you believe chromosome damage is a issue, then there are lower limits. This is another US vs Russia issue. I don’t know which is correct, but I chose to use the lower limits in my designs to be safe.
P.S. it is easy to miss a 0 when doing real time calculations by hand.
Thanks for the great job. What book did you reference in your video?

Hi Dave, your math was wrong as mentioned by pigalino.
You said that increasing the frequency (of the RF signal without altering the power level) has no effects on the human body.
    You are wrong again.
The energy of a photon (ie electromagnetic photon) is proportional to the frequency.
That's what Max Plank postulated and that is what the entire Quantum Theory is based on.
    E=hf
E stands for energy associated with a photon
h stands for Plank's constant and
f stands for frequency with which the photon is vibrating or oscillating

Would be handy working on high power broadcast stations. For ham radio, a piece of general test equipment would be a better investment.

    Thank you, Dave. N0QFT
That meter is much more sensitive the other one.
    Did you open it up?

Got a smartphone? There are usually EMF meter apps you can download to it also.

There are 10,000 cm^2 in 1m^2. Have to multiply both dimensions by 100.

My first clue to a questionable device is the term “ghost hunting” or some other paranormal label.
