"Smite is the worst blitz in the game"
while I dont like Smite cause without Empowered Psionics you get only CC ever, I cannot deny the Hordeclear + CC usage of the enhanced smite. While trauma staff does dish out extreme stagger and does occupy the slot of a "hard CC" it does require more practice and more importantly depends on the layout(since you can't really shoot it upwards)
I do think it's a ability many sleep on, but as a guy who exclusively play Gun Psyker(which means I almost exclusively use disrupt destiny, which never scales well with smite)I dont see it useful most of the time in my endeavors. well, until bulwarks appear and I regret my life choices using Assail.

i used brain burst with gun psyker solves the bulwark problem and its pretty mmuch the only weakness to the build

It is just about a personal preference. I tried all three and Smite just felt the best for my kind of style.

Why is your smite a cyan/white color instead of the blue and purple?

It is made like that in the game? I don´t know if your Smite has different colour or you are talking about lore.

What's this build like?

The build itself deals no damage in comparison to other builds. You rely on your teammates almost all the time. It is super fun though to freeze half of the map for 15 seconds.

I never liked it to be honest. I prefer immediate damage or just not take it at all.
