Nice set up saw a guy in the pier yesterday with something similar but he had a car battery hooked up to his which made me want to do something similar
Maybe a stupid question, but could you use one of the small 12v batteries they make now like some ppl throw on their kayaks and what not and run it directly to the pump!? Looking for making one of these to go on my boat to keep shad fresh while we catfish freshwater lakes here in NC. Love the idea, Thanks!
Yes the important thing is that you get a voltage converter to convert the 20v battery to 12v to run the pump. Also make sure not to drain the battery all the way to 0% I have a Amazon link in the long form bait tank video on our channel
@@inshoreboys thanks for the reply man! Again; your talking to someone that is the least knowledgeable about wiring and electrical anything. I’ve watched that video and under stand to run the small dewalt 20v you need the converter but could you not just run the pumps directly too the smaller 12v with out a converter since they are the same voltage or am I totally wrong!? Thanks again for your time in replying!!

With a fish live longer if the pump was on the back of the boat?
Do you have a step by step video how you build it?
Really nice!
Where can I buy the top fitting?
Legend!
Dude, so nice. Instead of the bulky 12v car batteries. How long does the battery last on that setup?
Typically 3 to 4 hours with this pump but I get 8 hours on a power bubbles dual pump. 5 amp hour Dewalt battery
sweet
What kind of s pump is that

Just want to make sure. It’s just circulating the same water?
Yes
does the pump have a filter?
I have a screen over the water intake that acts as a filter to stop debris from getting inside the pump
do you have the parts list for this project?
Yes I will be making a video soon with them
What’s the size of the clear hose 3/4 or 1/2
3/4” hose
How many hours will the battery last?
With this Setup about 4 hours and with a Mr bubbles setup 6-8 hours
what about ammonia build up?
Bail out water and refill. I’ve had bait last over 24 hours doing that.
