Very true what you said about Profondo. You can easily get nose blind to it and think it doesn't last. When I got it and tested it, I was disapponted, but then this happened: I sprayed that for work at 1pm. Later, at 7pm, I just walked by a female co-worker who had just arrived. Later I was sitting at the auditorium, and she came all the way to sit beside me literally saying: "I'm going to sit there with G**** because he is smelling so good!". I was surprised. It really lasts and projects more than we think.
had the same experience not a while ago, i did my usual 6 spray routine in the morning, and by 4 pm i went to the barber and as soon as i entered his barber shop he said " what are you wearing ? you smell nice" thats like 9 hours after i sprayed myself, its crazy.

@@irogers217 go with 6 sprays brother, 2 behind each ear, and one on each collar ( of course on your clothing) cause 3 sprays is not enough for a fresh fragance, even for strong freshies like adg profondo.. btw never believe in " spraying less is more" thats bs, if 6 sprays work for me and i have dry skin and a messed up ph im pretty sure it will work just as good or better for you.

better than profumo? It's always this one they have in pharmacies around here and I find it meh.
Armani's Acqua Di Gio Absolu...it's not the most unique or anything but this...works....EVERY time. Reactions are always positive and the performance is slightly above average on skin. Put a few sprays on clothes and you're good to go for an easy 8+ hours with moderate projection and sillage.

Ambroxan seems like a note that nose blinds the wearer. Every fragrance that I own, that has an ambroxan note, that happens. I'll be able to smell it on myself strong when it is new, but it gradually diminishes to my nose with each wearing afterwards.
That sounds more like scent fatigue...which is when you stop being able to smell a scent because your body got tired of it

I've got the boss bottled marine which smells like apple with cinnamon resembling a fresh-spicy scent. Many discounters are making Boss fragrance offers in Europe and i got mine for 48 euros. At this price you get a full satisfaction of a solid fragrance at a solid price. 20 sprays over a moisturising lotion and you are good to go 😍

It's interesting you talk about the wearer getting noseblind to some fragrances more easily, which I have noticed myself. Some of my fragrances I will smell on myself hours after putting it on my skin, and some others, that are told to be decently long lasting, I won't smell on myself after like an hour. Recently I bought a giant bottle of aqua di gio profumo (cause I read about it being/getting discontinued), and that one I seem to get noseblind to very fast, unfortunately..

Question...Does anybody shake there fragrances? I ask because my Givenchy Gentlemen edp after 2 years started to smell deeper to the point me and a friend noticed the difference (less smooth vanilla and more nutmeg). So I shook my bottle and wore it again and asked my friend if it smells different to the last time? He said yes and I agree as the smooth vanilla is yet again more prevalent.

I tried ysl y edp and because of its synesthetic smell avoided purchasing it. I didn't spray it on my skin to find out later how it went with my body. Placed an order to try a tester of its intense version, will be waiting to see how it works with my body scent.
You can't go wrong with Armani Code Absolu: amazing projection, long lasting, it leaves me dazed, but the citrus scent bothers me.

As to the DS Elixir, this opening is so bad for me that I was washing of this frag after few seconds. Bud becouse every one says it's so good i giveit a chance. And i works for me now, but I spay it and try not to smell it for first 30 minut. Otherwise i smell something similar to sausage shop, and I get it it may get me a attantion of certain kind of the womens, but i'm aiming in diffrent kind;-)

I kept watching your videos and you have a real humanity that shines through in all that you do. You are so much more down to earth than I ever would have imagined, and I'm just glad that I kept watching as I would've been the one missing out.
Your descrips are easily the simplest to understand, yet you encapsulate so much of a fragrance, the image it evokes, with such gorgeous words and mental images.

amazing fragances, 10/10, they both do their own thing, reserve privee is more of a sexy date night fragance, it will draw your date in and spicebomb extreme is definitely a night out scent due to its powerful performance, i mean of course you can use spicebomb extreme on a date and it will also get the job done, but try to spray less than 4 times because like i said the performance is beast mode, btw based on the 2 fragances that you just ordered it seems like you are into sweet mass appealing fragances, if thats the case ill recommend you to get prada luna rossa black, i even dare yo say that it is just as good as sb extreme and givanchy RP.

I kinda wish there were some Tom Ford or Oud options mentioned. Although I have both the Dior Sauvage Elixir and Azzaro fragrances, I’d say TF Ombré Leather and Noir Extreme and Lattafa Oud get good feedback 😂
