Right on! Enjoy the Serial has a cult following for good reason If I wasn't so lazy and hit the EQ button you would have never gotten my set LOL They are a amazing IEM.
In fact, so well conveyed, I've bought it. So I'm not retro I'm just old. Mr Analogue....nearing the end of my innings. I do like some of my IEM's to be like smooth, slightly salty, Peanut Butter. The Penon Serial's make me musically salivate. My problem is I'm so late to the Serial party I've probably missed the appetisers. Anyway I'm confident they will suit my musical taste. Great, well presented, review.
I gave the penon serial a shot and it is exactly what you say. We should always enjoy the music! More audiophille should do that rather than worrying about the gear great to see you thinking that too. Could you link the cable you used? I personally would like you to review the iem in stock setup as not everyone could afford buying extra tips and cables as for many this is a lot of money. If something is not working for you, do mention it like you did here. Just a small critique for your review.
@@VanDungLe2510 yep! Got lucky and got hands on the serial. Very lush! As he says. Sound a lot similar to ae but with better vocals but lacking details because planars are obviously better. The treble shines better on the planars which is awesome for bands like casiopea or anything instrumental Also the bass attack on ae is better but the bass in serial isnt lacking either. But for songs from bill wither, Chris Cornell etc sounds freaking amazing on the serial.
@@VanDungLe2510 sadly no. Aful wasn't with the retailer sadly their :( But the person who owned the shop said that he found the hype towards to be unwarranted and manufactured by youtubers to push units. As there are other iems which sound better at around that price. Also the mega 5p is a tricky iem to get hands on unless you stay in asian countries like Singapore, as hisenior doesn't sell via resellers that much and sell only via their website. I wanted to try the mega 5p too.
@Unparalleled Let me do some more A/B so it's fresh and give you a honest answer , I have had so many in my ears lately gets confusing best to relisten to both this weekend. Please remind me if you don't see a response after the weekend please.
Enjoying a lot. Nice pacing, I like your voice. Well done brother.
Thanks a ton
Hey Jason, looks like I am that guy! Good vid. Thnx Reg!

@@mokisan Did you also tried the Aful P5, Mega 5P and Yume 2 mate? I'm looking for a hybrid side grade to the Heyday but idk which one to pick

How does Taylor sound..... ? Very good I'm thinking :)
Vocals are just the best Penon has a house sound and it's a fun tuning
I have the SERIAL and I love them. Great review!
Could you do a comparison vs the GLOBE ?
Thank you !
Unfortunately I don't have the Globe any longer but after ready notes it read like the Globe is a darker version of the Serial with more bass.
@@tonedeafmonk Thank you. I'm leaning toward the Globe or the ISN EST50 for my next set. (or the DUNU SA6 mk2, but the price is double)
Ok, this or h50??
For me H50 100% better highs and stage
@@tonedeafmonk Does Simgot EA500 come close to H50's stage?

@@tonedeafmonk Can you compare it now please :>
Love Penon Serial for that organic sound. Such a nice approach to make a multi-driver set with dd's covering the entire spectrum 🤌
That is great set, jives with lots of people not for me, though.
I can t find nowhere graph of this iem
