Einverstanden.
I have always been electrified by this music. She gives me chills. I found an old philatelic program: the generic was accompanied by the passage to the piano of the second movement. A stroke of genius! Then I found that it was "Music for strings, percussion and celesta" by Béla Bartok. Since then, I can't live without it.
Everytime (and believe me it's often enough) I play something not quite right in front of people I remind myself of Horowitz starting a Prokofiev sonata on some totally bizarre wrong group of notes (as an opening chord - i forget which piece) and then just keeps playing with a shrug and a look on his face that says "that was interesting!". I've always suspected that if you just keep the beat, you can pretty well get away with almost anything!! Anyone who notices it, will admire your nerve. Just keep the beat!!!
An insanely great performance, unfortunately the recording has a lot of low frequency rumble. If your system is capable of producing the lowest frequencies, you'll need to filter them out, but the end result is worth it.
Often the tempi are too fast. And there is little sense of the mystery in this marvelous piece, especially in movt. 1,and movt. 3, which is totally lacking in atmosphere. Final movement is rushed and hectic. A rather mechanical survey of the notes with little of the poetry.
1:03 - I. Andante tranquillo
7:54 - II. Allegro
15:27 - III. Adagio
22:16 - IV. Allegro molto
[28:47 - Applause]
Spectacular performance. This should have had more views..

This powerful and heroic music promotes spiritual uplift and awakening,
and the attraction of this music is immeasurable andindescribable
Marvelous. Separated orchestra. Like Bartok indicated. Such good playing. Bravo! Nagyon jó. 🌼☘️🌿🌺🍇🍑🌱🌻

My favourite Bartok work. A series of unanswered questions - or were the answers present all along, if we were alert enough to hear them?
Nope def unanswered
Glorious opening movement. The final movement is more energetic than I expected, but overall, an excellent interpretation of a wonderful Bartok work.
Fantástica interpretação de um grande clássico contemporâneo!!!!!
Sensational performance!
17:23 the shining part!!!
La relève est assurée, bravo !
Magnificent Bártok, superb interpretation!!!
Sensacional!
This piece of music was an announcement of the horrors that were about to happen in WWII.
Imagine what it must be like to conduct the first movement, where the time signature changes all over the place.
Just Marvelous
Maravilloso !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
15:27
The Shining's Music for Strings, Percussion and Celeste
15:28 Rush D 😅 . Referencia de Sheet music boss.
10:56 the deleted quaver is destroying me
Okay... xylophone in 3rd movement
Isn’t it supposed to be F? He keeps playing D
At least someone recognised it! :-) Poor player was very upset after the concert and asked for 1000 x sorry...

Forse sono scemo io ma la trovo straziante la musica dovrebbe essere ARMONIA di suoni.
