- My piano arrangement utilizes the technique of playing 2 notes with the right hand thumb, which gives the chords a slightly more lush quality, however, this is entirely optional and playing 1 note will sound very similar. I hope this Synthesia piano tutorial is helpful!
This is the Synthesia for my piano cover / arrangement of "Irene Adler's Theme" from the brilliant BBC Sherlock series. I combined Irene's Theme with Sherlocked, both of which are featured in A Scandal in Belgravia. Sherlock OST was composed by David Arnold and Michael Price. Sherlock, in my opinion at least, has the heart of a dreamer or a believer, but chooses to be a realist. So, from that... what might we deduce about his choice in the people he's close with? (as in John, Mrs. Hudson, Irene Adler, Lestrade, etc.)
A scientist discovers things in a lab; a philosopher makes his discoveries in the mind, but a detective makes his discoveries amongst the people.
Sherlock keeps his emotions behind glass, he hides his true feelings deep in his head, but his heart secretly resides amongst people.

In my opinion "The Reichenbach fall" and 3rd episode of 4th season (I forgot the name) were the best.
I'm impressed that they made irene such a good character when in the books she appears one time. She outsmarted Sherlock sure, but it wasn't nearly as spectacular.

Everytime I hear this song i cry. I don't know why but I feel sad and happy at the same time. I wish I could watch that episode again without knowing it. And I wish I had someone who feels the same way. I think that it is the uncertainty which makes me sad. No one knows if there will be a 5th Season. We can just hope....

Dude, I believe everyone feels that way... I miss the show, the wonder of what will happen next. I doubt they'll make a new one, as it takes about 2 years each series. (Edit) Your English was fine, and I've seen the show about 7 times now. I love it to death, with the exception of the first two episodes, they're too drawn out.

I love how everyone here is talking about Sherlock and Irene. Save for a few, no one's talking about the music per se, and the piano arrangement, in which this video is about. Indeed you'll know the power of music when it brings you somewhere and deflects attention from itself.
This show is truly amazing, and honestly I feel like no instrument could ever play this like a violin could. Like I know it’s obviously only meant for a violin but I’ve just realised how beautiful they are as an instrument in general.
This episode pains me cause I don't really like Irene that much as a character, but her dynamic with Sherlock was electric in ASiB and her theme plucks at my heart. Like ... wow!

So my hands are pretty small which means reaching across the eight keys to play with my left hand is a little challenging, so it's been a mildly slow process learning, but I'm about a third or the way through learning this song, which I love, and I will continue learning it until I've learned it all, anyway thanks for uploading this video, without you I probably wouldn't be learning this song, because there aren't really any other videos that teach it.
