🤿 Grecian Rocks Reef is one of the most beautiful shallow reef in the Florida Keys, its is an spa of John Pennekamp Coral reef state park. it is protected from the waves on the east side and makes it an ideal location for inexperienced snorkelers,
🏝this video was taken in the summer of 2022, I took my brothers in law to explore the reef and was able to capture beautiful Queen Angelfish, trumpet fish, barracuda, blue tangs and yellowtail snappers, watch the feather duster too! The Tropical Coral Reef 🐠 is one of the most fascinating ecosystems and we are lucky 🍀 to have an amazing ine here in the USA 🇺🇸

Hey man! Thanks for watching, these fishes are so used to all the tourists 😂they don’t care, and since this is a specially protected area, you can’t fish or spearfish and they know it 😂
Well I have been in many islands in the Caribbean,and go snorkeling but to me so far nothing better than the florida Keys.
It's the most protected! but last year bleaching was bad... :(

Is this reef accessible from a beach? Or do you need a boat to enjoy it? How do you get there? My much younger sister and I are going on a 4 night bucket list adventure of the... Snorkeling is at the top of our list.
Hi! Thanks for watching and you need to get there by boat, there are great snorkel operators in Key Largo, they are safe and affordable. the best visibility will be at incoming tide, where the clear water from the ocean will move in, and also on a less windy day with less chop.

On this particular occasion I went with my boat to the reef, but this is a very popular spot for Snorkeling charters, so if you want to go there as part of a tour, inquire with one of the many dive/snorkel operators in the area.
