i'm very enjoying your m2kc videos, i'm new to DCS: how do you change your loadout of the m2kc?Andho can can you add enemies jet on a mission ?
If you'd slow down a little you'd be able to maintain a pursuit without an overshoot... That being said, I can't wait for more! You make some awesome videos.

Can you please do a tutorial on ILS, I am about to purchase this module, and something that I enjoy the most about aircraft is operating the navigation systems, I think ILS is a significant system and well night makes on average 13.5 hours of the day so without ILS landing would be basicly impossible :)
Probably a really dumb question, but how the hell do you go into close combat mode, I can't figure it out for the life of me and I feel like it's really easy to get in it, lol
I think by default it is the "V" key but you will need to have your radar in the "EM" or emit mode.
Luke Rath Is that EM mode on the left side where the radar controls are?
It's in controls under HOTAS tab listed as Special Mode Aft and Special mode Fwd, and yes you want to set your your Radar knob listed as A, P CH, SIL, and EM to EM
I just reinstaleld DCS 2.0 after a while, and I've watched your video as a reminder of the keys to bind, but I can't find the differents modes anymore, no NAV or close air combat mode with the three differnts modes you talk about. Looks like all the bindings available changed :(
Anyone knows how to use close air combat with the new bindings or how to get the old binding ?

Just stopping by to say thanks as usual. I have to say this Mirage is another damn fine addition to DCS. Even as a Brit, I can admit that the French know how to design a good looking jet ;) It is nice to see more European and British aircraft making their way to DCS, the future is bright..
Very good tutorial. I'm new to the Mirage. My question, Close combat mode, the default commands (keyboard, HOTAS or click on the console), I can't seem to find it in the manual etc. I just want to map it on my joystick.

Nice video, as always. I'm really looking forward to the Cold Start and going through all the avionics (as far as they work in the beta) because I also don't like to start in the air when learning a new aircraft.
Are there any plans to pick this series back up?
I didn't expect gunnery with radar rangefinding to be such a chore, frankly. Wow... 3 misses in a row. Takes skill I guess. Not that you're bad, it's just... well... Weird. You did better with the wingspan markers

Is there an air to ground gun crosshair for the mirage and how can I get it?
+Finaly Nugent turn the master arm on, click on the loaded bombs on the pca, you should have the bombsight on your hud

You essentially make it a jpeg with 3:4 ratio (can be done in MS paint via resize)
C:\Users\\Saved Games\DCS\Kneeboard\ Create a folder called the aircraft you want it to show up in. like F15C so it looks like C:\Users\\Saved Games\DCS\Kneeboard\F-15C Make sure you add the - like A-10A or F-15C. (Note you may need to create the kneeboard folder in \DCS folder too)
This seems complicated but it's really just place Jpegs set to 3:4 ratio into the correct aircraft folder and place the aircraft folder into the Kneeboard folder and start the game.

+AnnOyiNg__DuDe87 Yes, TrackIR is just as essential for flight sims as a joystick. Once you try it, you'll never want to fly without it again.
+AnnOyiNg__DuDe87 Definitely! It is one of those things that you don't realise how much you're missing out until you try it. I can't play flight sims without it now...
+AnnOyiNg__DuDe87 Yes it is. And remember, VR headsets are a totally different thing and won't make TrackIR obsolete. Get it. Period. :)
+AnnOyiNg__DuDe87 Couldn't agree more with everyone else. TIR is essential for added immersion, better situational awareness, the list goes on. When you start to use it you won't ever want to go back :-)
+AnnOyiNg__DuDe87 Except that it is way overpriced and they do a really good job at making sure they don't get competition on the market. Don't get me wrong, it is a great piece of kit and I own it as well. But there are alternatives which work allright (not as good) that are a lot cheaper. Luckily someone is designing a new type of headtracking which will hopefully come out somewhere this year which will be a lot cheaper and just as good as trackir.
Still no wind over wing effect ? they said it would come with DCS 2.0...

Missiles have no range...get eaten up by the 120c abd b from US planes. Very poor module and I feel that I have wasted my $$$$
sucks im too broke to buy this aircraft :( for now the su25t will have to do
