What burning Shadowhunters questions do you want answers to?
Seventeen SIMON AND IZZY?????????
:0 Can I become a Shadowhunter??
Where can i buy stelia?
Jace drank anti Love potion and fell out of love with Clairy. Magnus said his potion was too strong even for him to fix it,but few episodes later Jace is back in love . I need explanation🤔
Anvi Green was he the owl at that point? maybe that counter acts the potion?
They're not really plot holes, tho. Just unexplained things in the show that are obvious if you pay attention to what characters are saying or have a general idea of how things work, ergo Clary losing her mum in order to grow up a little more Shadowhunter and less Mundane.
This is more “why did they change these things from the books” than plot holes...
I know! Like the yen fin, the Jace not being linked, the hurting clary all that stuff
I like that she’s lowkey a book stan (is that the phrase) it makes me like her more
I honestly don't mind the changes, it all works and that's the most important to me
Jace wasn’t her brother in the alternate universe because he was never her brother if Jonathan was in the alternate universe he would’ve been her brother
Right? Real question is where was Jonathan in that universe? (besides the fact that he would have spoiled plot) University probably, but he was never mentioned once and they were such a tight family it's doubtful he never would have been mentioned.
This is exactly what I thought..👏🏼
So happy to see Kat 😊.
The biggest plot hole in the show is still not explained though, I love the show with all my ♥....but let's be honest the timeline set on the show is really weird and inaccurate.
Like how could only two months passed since S1 in S3A? Seems weird to me.
#ShadowhuntersLegacy
Does that mean Clary/Simon was for like a week?
We need more Shadowhunters episodes!😥💕
They are on every. Tuesday on Netflix
I love how you understand Clary so well, Kat. I would have said the same things about her character.
What about why the writers decided to have Clary connected to Johnathan instead of Jace?
Eve-il Doll it makes more sense because she’s his sister, no?
I think they wanted to give Jace a break HAHAHAH poor boy has been possessed by lilith for the entire season (where as in the books he's only possessed for a short time and doesn't kill innocent humans)
@@randyporridge5781
No, Jace makes more sense because he himself also came back from the dead and therefore could be used to bring another one back. Lilith's ritual depended on that (in the books). A life for a life.
But in the show they switched it and bound the siblings together, which was unexpected, but interesting, I think :)
That annoyed me soooooooo much. And the yen fin. That was jem carstairs issue (prequel series) not izzys
I think the changes are quite interesting but the thing that bothers me the most is Jia. I love her so much in the books, especially in the Dark Artifices, and they changed her so much :-(
The alternate jace. I got a quicker explanation. He’ll have been raised by the herondales because they’ll never have joined valentine in the circles during they never would’ve been slaughtered and the jace is at college thing. Yeh makes sense as to why we never meet the herondales in that universe
But he never would have been born if Valentine wasn't a shadowhunter, no less would his name have been Johnathan Christopher (Jace).
Clary isn’t the only one who didn’t grow up as a shadowhunter
At the end of the last book the clave is desperate for new shadowhunters
(Make with mortal cup)
Magnus is going to train Simon so he can become a shadowhunter
And Magnus never lost his magic and in the next installment Simon becomes clarys parabatai
I still have to read that one
@@ryleemckenna1382 oops >.< I think they only really hightlight it in the tales from the shadowhunters academy book
im still waiting for the third episode of the final hunt
Chawki Rim when does it come out??

I want more of these questions and answers!!!
Kinda hoped she would've explained Magnus's age. Bc they showed a scene where his mom died in Dutch Indonesia, and the institute information suggested he was 400 like his book counterpart. However, he had 17000 relationships, with serious ones in between, you do the math. And Alec said he's 800+-yrs old. Also he said he was around when the dead sea was a little lake feeling poorly. So is he 400, or 800?
Around 400
@@user-cl6jp5vj1g idk, there's a lot of evidence for 800 too. and Alec literally saying it, makes the evidence for 800 more compelling, but it's difficult, both sides got arguments
He is over 800 they also explain that in the book if I remember correctly. It's very easy magnus lies about his age alot but his childhood era makes his age clear.
@@cass16433 i am not sure I agree. That seems... incredibly misleading, unless someone didn't do their homework. They show him being a "child" in the Dutch East Indies, which were only formed in 1800. That would make him only around 200 to 250 years old. That conflicts with everything he's said - meeting Michelangelo (born 1475), hanging out with Casanova (born in 1725). It makes no sense, unless he can literally make portholes through time. Which, as far as I know, would be impossible according to the rules of the universe of the Mortal Instruments. Maybe someone mistook the Dutch East Indies with the Dutch East India company from 1602, but that's still the wrong time period if Magnus claims to have known Michelangelo well enough to know he's excellent in bed. I'm stumped on that one. I hope he's over 800 and not lying to Alec about it, because 17,000 lovers is just... a staggering number, unless he's including just scores of orgies he had while hanging out with Casanova in the Doge's palace. Because that could add up to a thousand "lovers" really quickly. Hmmm. I never thought I would be hoping a character I cared about would be in multiple orgies before. Weird.
Hasume Okaasan maybe he looked like a child but wasn't ? like he could've been 20 + in that scene, but that counts as being a child for warlocks since they're immortal, if that makes sense
I love ur hair
Jace drank anti Love potion and fell out of love with Clairy. Magnus said his potion was too strong even for him to fix it,but few episodes later Jace is back in love . I need explanation
Anvi Green they were trying to show that jaces love for her is stronger then the magic.
Bc he was under Liliths control and so influenced by the potion. When Magnus went to Edom, he traded his magic for his father’s powerful magic to remove the demonic influence in Jace, he became his normal self again. That’s why Jace is in love again & why Magnus has no powers atm.
@@MissBelle127 I seen those episodes several times and it is pretty much a plot hole or unexplained reasoning left for us to interpretate how ever we want. Jace himself got to drink that potion, he fell out of love and only then Lilith took full control over him. Before he was the owl, but Clairy kept breaking him out of the trance like state when he was controlled by Lilith. Lilith got pissed off and went to Magnus for the potion , after Hace drank it he fell out of love and Owl took him over . Magnus said he can't do anything about it. Clairy felt how he was all wrong and indifferent to her, like he was not in love anymore. All those answers people give are only their own interpretations and not something that got explained in the show, hence - a plot hole
OMG love shadowhunters
ACTUAL PLOT HOLE: Why was there a shapeshifter rune?
ruveyda1D yes omg. Such a plot convenience for the time but major roadblock for future episodes. Happy it’s never been used again!!! I hate it.
ruveyda1D oh god they did that? Poor Cassie
OMG!!! I love shadowhunter!!!! ♥️♥️
I thought the Lydia thing was obvious but okay.
Love her
You guys need to learn what a plot hole is 😂😂😂 none of this questions were plot holes just questions from someone who wasn't paying attention haha
I love this show 😍
I HAVE A BETTER ANSWER THE THE ALTERNATE UNIVERSE QUESTIONS
Because Jace isn't her brother, it's a lie by Valentine. So the real question should be where was Sebastian/Jonathan in that universe?
Sara Sleightholm no, they meant, why did Clary believe Jace was her brother if she knew from the alternate reality that he wasn’t
minty chocolate (because she’s dumb XD)
No real answer, she never thought of it? I mean obviously. That episode was a little weird, I don’t think it’s ever been mentioned again because of that very reason, they don’t want to draw attention to it.
CUTIE! LOVE HER
I adore Kat, she is such a sweetheart 💖😊
I’m so sad the show been cancelled 💔😭
RedLadyBug U sooo sad! Netflix needs to come to their senses and renew the show! Do u think they will if they have enough petition signatures?? I hope so! Or another network. But I want it on Netflix
To be fair they did say they are open to continuing with the series via the next installment series. (Dark artifices)
Didn’t she play that really annoying girl in that one episode of Jessie
yep
Yes. She also has a few music videos and played in a movie called chatter
KAT I LOVE HEEEER, also this show is just pure magic ♥️♥️
Omg my little carrot I cry 😭😭💛
Where did Clary go after she lost her powers? Her house burnt down and she didn't know about her room in the institute anymore. Also her family and friends where invisible for her.
Another real plot hole: Why was Alec suddenly a-okay at the beginning of season 3B? There were two "characters dying" cliffhangers at the end of 3A, including Alec being stabbed in the heart. So why was he just up and fighting days later in his first scene back?
Yeah it seems incredibly strange after Izzy is so wounded she need Yin Fen to escape the pain of her stabbing, and then Alec is fiiiiine. Sure.
I mean, hers got infected, but he was literally stabbed in the heart with no one able to iratze him...? It's fine if Jace got to him at the last second, but maybe they should've explained that. Instead we saw him go from being on the brink of death (again, as a CLIFFHANGER) to up and fighting with no explanation.
@@phililili23 Ikr! I mean we did saw him heal himself with his stele at the end, but I wish we get to see his recovery. I don't think he got stabbed in the heart, he probably redirected the arrow away from the heart and the lungs, but still his injury is severe. I am guessing that Magnus called Caterina and she portaled in and healed him.
Hey
Why wasn't Jonathan in the alternate universe
1:11 darling the whole thing is a huge departure from the books

Superb ✨
Hay Kathryn my name is Taylor love your RUclips video s 🎉🎉🎈🎈
these were good questions tehe
majority was not plot holes in my opinion. i didn't understand the answer to the AU question. i think the question was why jace was not her brother in the AU but she talked about sebastian/jonathan or did i understand the question wrong? but now i am wondering why Jonathan was not in the alternate universe? though that would be a major spoiler so maybe that is why XD
What i would like to know is what happened to Caim (he went with lillith and then he just vanished from the show) and also when clary lost her shadowhunters' memories what Clary thought that happened to her mom and luke (simon I assume that she thinks he is death like he made every mundane, except his sister, to think) and even to what happened to her in that short period that he meet jace at the pandemonium. my theory is that the angels did not only erase her memories and take her sight but also they modified clary memories
Love you katherine ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
i love her so much uwu

what happen to cain???
Okay, but the Yin-fen thing? That makes no sense still because when Isabelle goes to the Iron Sisters, one of them tells Isabelle that Yin-fen doesn't actually help you heal faster and to be careful of the people around her. So, the Yin-fen addiction would have made more sense as a manipulation tactic by Aldertree to get information, but Izzy boldly lies to him constantly, and he doesn't really take advantage of it, so it's a little pointless? So, still kind of a plot hole because they had the Iron Sister say that and then never really addressed it.
Yeah. It probably doesn't heal. Maybe it gives so much relief that it tricks the user that they are healing. I don't know why Aldertree did the Yin Fin thing. If I have to guess, maybe he wants a stronger connection with him and Izzy, so he can date her. If she said no, he can blackmail her about her Yin Fin addiction and hid all of the evidence that ties him to her
Yen fin was based of the prequel books to this series but I do not understand izzy being addicted at all. It wasnt right also the whole Raphael izzy romance. It was never a thing
These aren't plot holes. A plot hole is when Clary, Magnus and Luke find out that Jace is the Owl, she goes after him by herself and Luke and Magnus are know where to be found and she gets seriously hurt and has to call Simon? Hello she didn't chase Jace that far only onto the roof of the building that the three of them were standing next too!
So she just basically gave a play by play ofthe script recount of what was shown on tv.. also the bit about Jocelyn's death, in the book she was gone for a long time and thus Clary was left on her own and had major character growth. She had to grow up fast in order to find and bring back her mother. It's such a cop out and very Disney to just kill the mother. I wish they had continued the movies instead.
I liked the movie but mainly because they went by the books. They even had exact quotes from the books. But I think (personally) the actors in the show fit alot better
I am guessing it is because it is hard to keep an actress sleeping for 3 seasons even though I think it has been done before, but they probably didn't want to pay someone for sleeping half of the show
What she the one on,”my babysitters a vampire”??
Emma McCarty no I don’t think so
No, but another actor in the show is on "My Babysitter Is A Vampire". The actor (I forgot his name) plays the dad in the vampire show and plays Theo (the former werewolf alpha) in Shadowhunters (1x05). Also, the actress who plays Iris (Stephanie Belding) plays the mother of twins in the vampire show in the boy/girl scouts episode
These are all not plot hole at all. Firstly, about Izzy's yin fen, the plot hole should be why an iratze couldn't heal her wound as we could see iratze could heal Clary when she got throwed off by the roof and Alec's instant healing after 3x11 even though there's an arrow close to his heart. Not only that, the plot hole would be if an iratze could heal Clary so fast then all of the other Shadowhunter wouldn't die so easily such as Imogen who should activate her iratze rune and survive but nope.
Secondly, Jocelyn's plot hole should be why does all the downworlders willing to die for her? She doesn't showed any compassionate for them at all as she said before that the Clave could be reasoned with, the downworlders can't. And how she treated Simon badly after knowing he becomes a vampire. Tbh, Jocelyn is the real villain and killing her off is a good decision. Thirdly, about Simon, why do they have to prolong it? Like Simon could've done that to his mum since s1 but no, they had to let it happen in s3 (also possibly just for sizzy to rise which irks me).
Lastly, Jonathan could be anything in the AU world, it's just that he doesn't showed up. Anyway, Kat looks so good!
But in the books Jocelyn is nothing like that. At all. And Simon and clarys relationship was never very sexual it was like a grade school relationship but that's it so they turned the relationship into a serious sexual relationship instead of a try out that eventually made them back friends.
@@cass16433 I hope you know that I was only talking about the show and not the book.
@@wninxnx and I highlighted that in the books it makes alot more sense. That's all. All those things are explained
@@cass16433 but it didn't explained any plot hole that I was talking about? and that's why I'm saying I'm talking about the show and not the book. unless the book did explained about the the plot hole that I stated then I'm listening.
💜💜
not that this matters in the slightest but I wonder why in the books Clary was a virgin (who lost it to Jace later on) but in the show she was not...I mean she slept with Simon before she ever slept with Jace and I may be wrong but I didn't get the feeling that Simon was her first....
3 years late but Clary was 16 in the books and 18 in the series, big difference in that way
💗💗👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
But she isn’t seventeen...
I don't understand one thing : what is her real hair color ?

Simon said he was an only son
Kahlengrace Isip well he would be bc he doesn’t have a brother he has a sis but still I don’t get why they would put that in if he had a sister
@@ryleejade9054 Well, he is an only son since his parents only had one boy and his sister is a girl. I am guessing that the show added the line because Simon is trying to relate to Alec of being the oldest son (well, only son in Simon's case)
