They may be Bengali but this isn’t anywhere near a “Bengali wedding.” Even the clothes are more northern inspired. Bengali brides wear red banarasi, they wear shola mukots, alta on hands and feet and chandan tikkas. Also the draping of our saris is in specific Bengali draping. We normally have paan and other cultural things which this wedding doesn’t have at all. It’s probably just Bengali people having a northern themed wedding not a Bengali wedding at all.
