amazing security officer he didn't try to enforce anything he didn't know, all to often they try barking orders about what they think you can and dont do but this chap was super cool and friendly and helpful only if they all was like this
Security guard needs a special mention and a big fat wage rise. Very reserved, cool & didn't jump to conclusions. I hope he watches this as he gets my applause 👏
Yep but obvs DJE decided to f*** with him for ages after being given a location to take off from. No need for it - just go and take your footage matey. Same thing with the hotel in Scotland recnetly, staff were sound, "please don't put our faces on youtube" - did it anyway. By all means share those who go out of their way to be difficult but maybe show more consideration for those who treat you with respect.
@robba1234. Sadly, mate, it just goes to show how stupid she is. Fancy telling someone that their drone is illegal when you know diddly-squat about drones. 😉
How many times are we going to hear that “you can’t fly your drone - you have to get permission I’m afraid.” You would think businesses would clue up on the law by now.
@@Bob_Burton And 'why' is their a PSPO? and duration how long do they last? How can a tiny drone that weights 249 grams (same weight as a small packet of Haribo Tangfastics) do any damage to a solid stone castle that been standing for over 700 years? The mind boggles.
It's obviously a winding up strategy by this guy...he seemingly aggravates the Normality of citizens going about there daily work, just to increase views not at all about drone Law's and Air access having said that I watch with anticipation something glorious would happen like a Hawk catching his drone mid flight 😂
If only you knew your highway code as well as you did your rights to fly and whats lawful. Cycling on a path in this video by the looks of it and cycling on the wrong side of the road towards traffic in another
Drone, Security and PSPO commentary aside, that is a wonderful example of a Motte and Bailey Castle! And your flight is so wonderful, should be used for school children to learn from!
Wish you would print out some CAA regs for the drone, so after they rant hand it over job done 😊 these people never learn unless a copper tells them they never research they just ask someone that should know that don't 😊
Good afternoon, Who do I talk too to start an argument please , oh so it’s not you. I’ll see what I can do about that I will stand here saying absolutely anything to get you too, and by the way I’m legally allowed to do it
I arrived in the UK earlier today. There were a couple of these 'Karen' types on customs. Giving it in the neck to some poor fella over his allowance. 🙄
All i could see about the pspo for Tonbridge Castle (part 7)was about keeping dogs on a lead, no unauthorised camping and no BBQ,s. Maybe i missed the bit about drones.😊.
Interesting interactions with staff. Nice aerial views but not one of the most spectacular places you've visited. Nevertheless, very entertaining. Thank you.
I wish somebody would come on sky news or something saying Mobile phones whilst driving is illegal but flying drones under 250kg isn't while standing on public property, it's amazing how many people don't actually know laws & rules
As a UK ( and Scottish) drone pilot thd concept of Pre-planning a flight ahead more than perhaps a day is NONSENCE if you want to guarantee a quality flight and result . Generally I plan only where I want to fly , but WHEN is in the lap of the gods , so most of the time I take weather windows when they come , and WHERE I am . If I was to involve myself in lengthy communicating with multiple organisations then to turn up and it was too windy too wet , is CRAZY , as I woukd need to start all over again , and arrange another date/ time . Suitable DRONE days are few and far between as it is , if the airspace is clear , and I am flying completely legally , I'm NOT ASKING .
@@buskingkarma2503 Yeah because he's given DJE the nod as to what is going to be ok and not get him, security, into trouble. 04:30 She thinks it's anything owned by the council. Does she not hear how silly that sounds? That would mean we'd not be able to fly from pretty much anywhere other than a farmer's field!!
He's lying to you. "open space" absolutely is defined, and it absolutely does state "take off or land" - they do not have any control over the airspace. It's a lie.
People never cease to amaze me. There’s lots of things I don’t know and many subjects I have no knowledge of, and you know what? I never ever make up lies and pretend I do. I keep my mouth shut and mind my own business. These people should do the same 😊 great work Dan, as always 😊 I appreciate you
Basically you not allowed to fly a drone for free, I bet if you sent them an e-mail asked them for permission to fly the drone, they would tell you you need to pay a fee to do it.
A very sensible security man.
Why is this channel still pretending to ask for permission? His conversations end up being circular and his videos far longer than they need to be.
Not really we either get foreigners or ones standing around feckin toking on a vape with hands in pockets , it's a disgrace .....
Another clueless boss, not used to being told no. Security was spot on.
Top bloke security, obviously hes seen a few audits

Did seem a bit unnecessary as builders, guard and front office women seemed very reasonable.
trying to provoke a negative response🤔
Isn't council land public land though?
Hi, in the UK, council owned land is defined as "privately owned".
In the US, the situation is different.

These national trust people have no clue about laws. They need educating.
It is amazing the trust lets them look stupid it’s not like everything they own has been done with the same result.
That drone is not illegal if flown from public land. Anyone trying to stop you will face the consequences.

If you download the full pdf on PSPO, it does state "from" rather than "in"
It's funny the way people act when told "I'm going to legally fly my drone"
never been this early, 45 seconds
The wording state "must not be flown in" should be interpreted as meaning within. meaning can not take off in and fly. essentially.
