The double yellow lines mean the council can issue a ticket for parking on them which means it's a public highway, so saying you have to go past the roundabout is rubbish.
That wreck is HMS President (1918). One of only three Royal Navy ships surviving from WW1 and part of the National Historic Fleet. Very sad to see her in this state. She was berthed at Blackfriars in London until 2016, when she was sold into private hands and towed to Chatham.
It is sad but even more sad other significant warships don't get to live any more, warrior, Trincomalee , victory, cavalier, Belfast and a few others for a great maritime nation piss poor
It's amazing how you can be in two places at once DJ, both on the docks and off I wish I could do that, I'd send my other self out to work while I stayed at home.
Hey DJ, great video, just some info for you.... In 2019, the Peel Group announced plans to close Chatham Docks by 2025 and redevelop the site for housing and commercial use... So it's good you've made a video now.
@@paullawrence8572 I’m from North Wales, but I knew how to pronounce Gillingham. Are you suggesting that people from Leicester are special needs, and we should make allowances for them?
Chatham docks are world famous for the amount of ship building they did. They still have the longest ropery in the UK as far as I know. It's still worth a visit.
These docks are next to apartments and everyone can film from balcony and he would not be able to spot , but when you coming closer, then it's a problem 🤦
Chatham docks used to be HMS Pembroke, the navy moved out in the early 80's, the docks are now managed by peel ports who are trying to get all of the businesses moved out to allow housing, all of the house/flats are part of the plan, the tall buildings you thought was a hotel is in fact housing
it makes me laugh all of that rebar left out to go rusty then the stick it in concrete and wonder why bridges like the ones at TINSLEY SHEFFIELD are falling apart do to the the concrete crumbling where the rust is
I thought the sign says no children past the gate, what about security lol, and also those people driving the front end of their vehicle over the huge speed bump forget they have a rear axle to go over as well, WOW bang down on those springs, can't help but compliment you DJ HIGHLIGHTING '" FROM ABOVE '" would never be the same to phrase it regularly, we as a audience awit the moment for DAVID TO APPEAR, thanks DJ, love having some chips and soda and tuning into a DJ AUDIT, best moment of my day, THANK YOU SIR " FROM OVER HERE" in the USA.😅ps, BEAUTIFUL SCENERY MATE

To know you come down my way I’m in Kent like you use a mini 3 pro on my detecting outings hope to get some videos up soon keep up the good work shaune in Kent 👍👍
I love your adult way when you said that you only got a small one mate that really made me laugh and you are a legend mate I wish I could find where you are video I would love a keyring I have learning disabilities
Lots of docks have public right of ways.years ago I would go fishing of a dock you just walked past the gate house and start to fish and they can’t do a thing about it .there part’s of the Thames where the foot paths have been blocked of with locked gates
I used to collect and deliver baled waste paper around Kent to Wimbledon with a 30ft trailer, Commer TS3 Rig. I was sent to Chatham Dockyard to collect a load. Then it was Royal Navy, in the early 6Os. There was a warehouse/garage full of loose paper and cardboard. How was I going to load and transport that on a flat-bed trailer. I told the Admiralty Civil Servant in charge that he was taking the p!ss, and drove back to the depôt empty.
I liked the little break down at the end maybe something you could do regularly and something that you could do differently and better than the rest of the auditors 😊 keep it up 💪
Hey , anyone able to help with a drone assist question please ? I’m wanting to fly in Lincoln which has a lot of raf bases etc. The exact place I want to fly isn’t inside an FRZ but it is close. The area has a Red zone with vertical limits in place and is also a danger area. It’s the vertical limits I’m unsure about. The restriction is “This piece of airspace is in effect between Surface and 10500ft SPS” Does this mean am unable to fly the drone in this area? I’v
This info has no relevance to this video but just wanted to put it out there that: pc Perry lathwood from Croydon police station was on the news going to court over his disgusting behaviour towards a member of public 😊
The buildings with the blue tinted windows aren't hotels, they're actually private residences, and most of the buildings to your right while filming is student accommodation for the local universities. I really wish I'd known you were coming to Medway I would have come and got a keyring,
I'd love to have a wonder around there. The submarine museum there can't be far off. And the destroyer. Plus the Russian submarine on the Medway. Interesting area. Good video DJ. Explore more here if you can.
Why were security not telling all drivers that they must turn off their dashcams while on the docks ?
They will be asking them to close their eyes next. 🤣🤣🤣
Pretty sure if you fell over and hurt yourself on that side of the gate you would all of a sudden officially be on public property
So they are so concerned with security and filming they build 4 or 5 story flats directly overlooking the site...yeah right.
If he spots anyone filming from their flat then he will press your intercom and tell you off 🤣🤣🤣
forget about the interaction............ anyone remember clouds in the sky like this?. wow.
The HyViz muppet was more worried about a man with a camera than the vehicles going in and out !
If you need to enter a site you shouldn't be in. Just get a mate to start filming outside for distraction 🤦♂️
The double yellow lines mean the council can issue a ticket for parking on them which means it's a public highway, so saying you have to go past the roundabout is rubbish.
I'm amazed that houses are being built so close to the docks and people are buying them . What a shitty place to be living .
It’s a great place to live particularly if you are at the universities
Just waiting for the Steam to come out of his ears like the old cartoons 🤣.
More likely to come out of his backside….where his mouth is!😂
Great security, the orange guy walks on the road passed the pedestrian turnstile while hidden by the lorry !
"Am I on the docks"? Robot pauses, resets and reboots, another list of directives pops up on inner screen.....
My ring Doorbell went off at the same time as yours 😂made me jump😮😮😂

This could be historically interesting as Medway Clowncil has given property developers the go-ahead to close Chatham docks and redevelop the area.

Sewage front properties.

There is no one that gets told 'not allowed' more than DJ not even Mr Veitch.
Grumpy security from the word go and you maybe should have mentioned about the apartment blocks overlooking.

Great method of education for the security guard.
