Pretty sure if HAku had been booked with brody in puerto rico pretty sure brody would of had haku backing him up it would of been a whole different situation i think invader and his boys would of come up short real quick
MrGrimgut the Funks brothers, the Youngblood’s among others were in the locker room and did not do anything, business as usual, the only one who stand up for Brody was Tony Atlas, sad but true.
Say this about Haku. When I was watching him in the 80's WWF, I was like, he's tough, but big deal. Now, the more I hear how tough he really is, and how seriously respectful and kind he is, I am a huge fan of his...much respect.
Perry Saturn was once asked him, haku, barbarian,Goldberg, the Steiner bros,Kevin Nash and Scott hall in the locker room,a fight breaks out who wins And Perry replied before the guy had even finished the question "Haku, and I don't mean he'd just win,I mean he would kill all of us in under a minute and there would be nothing any of us could do to stop him.... barbarian might NOT die,but the rest of us he'd just straight up kill" That's a fucking endorsement right there, apparently he was the only man Harley race was ever afraid to fuck with.
Haku and Brody, two of the legit badass characters in the history of wrestling. What an honour it must have been for those rare audiences who watched them together in a ring.
For a guy who is a legit badass,he has such a kind soul. He should be in the HOF.. I hope someday, someone opens their eyes and nominate him. HANNIBAL TV love your interviews. Thank you!
@@videolad3057 Are you serious? Over 3 decade career, was over as a monster as Haku and Meng, WWE thought enough of him to make him tag Champs with Andre when Andre couldn't even work...I could go on for a while.
Him and Undertaker seem to be the only guys that everyone has the same respect for. 99% of the people that are asked about them say nothing but good things.
I used to watch bruiser brody in several old school leagues around the middle west,we picked up Kansas city tv station and was able to watch him and other people bull dog bob brown, ric flair,Jerry von Eric
I thought both WWF and WCW majorly dropped the ball with Meng and Barbarian. A monster tag team if pushed right could have been monster heels that the fans would gradually turn babyface. How nobody thought to use their legendary feats outside the ring to build them up is beyond me.
He seems like such a nice guy. Listened to his interview on Talk is Jericho a couple of years ago, and thoroughly enjoyed it. He has the most infectious laugh I've ever heard. All that said, I wouldn't wanna make him mad!
Brody and Hansen were tough but they were bullies. Everyone knows that bullies are never the toughest of the tough. It's the humble and quiet ones who are generally the most dangerous.
God damn HIS FUCKING HANDS, HE'S A GRIZZLY BEAR WITH GLASSES Also looks like the nicest guy you'll ever meet in your life, impossible not to like him. Just became a fan of his pretty quickly. You can tell he comes from rugby. Played rugby many years and you see a lot of those types of good guys that are pretty tough.
Man, the memories of Brody being a one man wrecking crew was some of the best memories. If you wanted to see pretty boys in the WCW you cheered for the Von Erich's If you wanted to see the guy that clears stands with swinging a chain and being tough as anything on the planet, that was Brody. Gotta give a shout out to the 'Missing Link'. He is never talked about.
Been following THE HANNIBAL TV for for some time now and I'm quite sure many of Devon's faithful know how much of a presence Bruiser Brody had in shaping The Death Dealer's Persona, especially the interview with Frank Goodish's wife Barbara which was quite emotional. Japan was ideal for the likes of Brody and Hansen and Vader and The Funks and so many after them too. Dick Beyer aka The Destroyer absolutely opened many doors in The Orient for later American Wrestlers. Wondering if Haku ever entertained a Book? Would be some serious reading!! Cheers From Ohio
Brodie and Abdullah both were big time over in Japan. During all of their matches they always made sure to focus a lot of their attention on Japanese reporters so that they could get good pictures and stuff. When brodie died, Japan invited his wife and young son and they gave him huge honors and treated his family like they would have him. Thats amazing considering Brodie wasn't Japanese. In some ways I think being a star in Japan in wrestling was better than being one here in the states. Hats off to Japanese wrestling promotions and wrestling fans.
Hawk was a wannabe tough Juice Mutt Racist , 2 Cold Scorpio Beat the Shit out of him in 1995 Korea , 1992 John Parrella beat the face paint off his Racist face at a Tokyo night club 3am when the WWF were in town , Hawk called a Nebraska Football Player David White a bunch of Racist names and tried to jump him when he got knocked out stiff ..
He was in the AWA for a short time, known As Prince Tonga. Gagne would import such great talent and draw huge crowds. It was Brody, Masked Superstar and Tonga against The High Flyers and Jerry Blackwell. Tongas last AWA Chicago match saw him and Kendo Nagasaki lose to The High Flyers. Totally wasted Tongas potential. But we continued to have Baron Von Rashke shoved down our throats. Gagne outdrew McMahon in 84 and 85, but he misused talent. He imported great talent for a short time, only to use them to get over talent the fans were sick of for years. He had Flair on a show and put him against an aged Billy Robinson, who spent so much of his time as a below mid carder at this point. He'd get the talent and sold out crowds, but the great talent never returned. Eventually, his AWA fizzled down the toilet wrapped in shit.
Haku could snap kick a front kick like a little guy just as fast but at 300 pounds and his hands. If you ever being around fighters you can tell those who can use his hands , his feet knees basically I think early UFC he couldve done good very good
Haku is a true street og. In australia i grow up in working class multicultrual society....tongas mofos are for real....and from what i heard this tongas mofo would bash the other true man tongan mofos
Bruiser Brody and Haku, they could destroy a city better then King Kong vs Godzilla. RIP Frank and God bless Haku, 2 legit guys!!

Brody and Hansen vs Haku and Barbarian - the tag match I never knew I needed or wanted so badly.

What did he do in a WWF ring that merits inclusion into their Hall of Fame? Or is being a badass with a kind soul all you need?
@@videolad3057 well if Koko B Ware is in the Hall of Fame than Haku should be

Meng spent time in WCW as a bodyguard for Col. Parker, then wrestled later in WCW.
All time favorites.....Hulk Hogan, Haku, Bill Eadie and Bruiser Brody.
