  • Boundary Road is an intermediate trail that runs from the top of Wenatchee Express, running to the skiers left of the lift, and coming to the right, passing under the lift line of both Chair 2 and Chair 3, before turning left, and going under both of those lift lines again. At a point, North Bomber comes off of Boundary Road, and merges with Bomber Bowl. Bomber Bowl runs down the rest of the way back to the base of Chair 2, as a rolling, wide open intermediate trail. At 2:38 where North Bomber splits from Boundary Road, there is a sign, that says Bomber Wing. The direction it is pointing towards where a piece if a wing of the B-24 Liberator bomber plane crashed in Squilchuck Basin is displayed, where one can touch it for good luck. I made the mistake of not coming over to touch it, which is probably why the winds put Chair 2 on wind hold again, and closed it for the rest of the day. This is a good, rolling cruiser to take laps on Chair 2 for, but I wouldn't recommend taking Boundary Road, as it gets quite flat. Katsuk is much better, and coming out onto Boundary Road, the bomber wing is much more visible.

    Really skinny snow conditions.

Mission Ridge doesn't get as much snow as mountains in the heart of the Cascades That and the fact this was filmed in late March, they were close to the last day of the season, which is around early April.

@@sorenjones Well aware. I live 20 miles away.
Clearly, this was a low snow season. In many years, I have seen an abundance of snow right up to the last day where they run out of skiers before they run out of snow.

What was the problem with Wenatchee express?
