Merry Christmas Jay and Ian sorry to hear about your recent episodes, hypnosis really sounds like a plan, hang in there, I’m sure I I can speed for all of your “fans “ we Really Really enjoy you!!! Take good care and rest and get fresh air!! God Bless Always looking forward to your vlogs!!!
Slow cooker, cook book and freezer containers - as the recipes are usually for 4 portions, you'll soon have your own 'ready meals'! Slow cookers are awesome!
I’ve totally enjoyed watching all your vlogs Jay and I admire how candid you are about the struggles with your health. I can’t imagine what it must be like for you. Your persona is so bouncy and you always look great so unless you voiced these problems no-one would guess. And you still fit in all that sewing!!! Love seeing all your creations. I wish you and Ian a very Happy Christmas and hope you get some resolution with your health in 2020. Thanks again. X
Hi, it's me again, weeks behind in watching vlogs. Ian's coat looks fantastic, looking forward to seeing his reaction on Christmas morning. The blue fabric that you wanted for Christmas but didn't think you had the time to make, the colour really suits you, you definitely must make a dress for yourself. The matter of your cosmetic procedures, you were being honest with us that you have had them, not many people would have been. I wouldn't have known that you had had any, I just thought that you looked good. Please don't take negative remarks to heart. There are more nice people in this world than not. Good luck with your hynotherapist, it sounds really positive and positivity is the best medicine there is. Thanks for doing these videos.
The very best of luck with the hypnotherapy. I whole heartedly think its useful in managing chronic health problems. It has been a life saver for myself, so good luck. 🎄X
I’m really shocked someone would be so rude, I am in the process of having work done myself, only laser skin resurfacing at the moment as I had acne scarred skin from my youth but I can see the ravages of stress and time in my face and I hate it, as soon as I’ve completed the course of laser I’ll be having some Botox and fillers myself, nothing that makes me look plastic but just fresher looking and good for my age (47), I’ve always looked after my skin but you can’t alter your genes can you? you look great Jay, and I don’t see anything wrong with cosmetic help if you want it, it’s safe and makes you feel better about yourself, I don’t see the difference between that and dying your hair as long as you use reputable companies to do it xxx
Oh Jay, that coat is absolutely fabulous, I am sure Ian will wear it with pride. I am so sorry that you have had negative comments about minor cosmetic surgery procedures. All of us should do what we think is the best for us, and as you know, your genuine followers really, really appreciate your honesty, and your opinions. Please do not let these sad people stop you from being yourself!! I hope the hypnotherapy works for you, and as always look forward to watching your future vlogs.
Good for you I get Botox and fillers and I have had a mini facelift so I am with you all the way. Love your channel have a great Christmas and New Year. Lots of Love Tricia.
I love how open you are about your life. Thanks for sharing. It upsets me that you get people like that commenting but I'm not surprised, there are an awful lot of people that think nothing of being critical. Your house looks lovely. Merry Christmas to you and Ian!!
Sorry to hear that someone made a negative comment on your cosmetic work! As you said, it’s a privilege to be allowed into a vlogger’s life. Can’t wait to hear what you think of the slow cooker. I got one ages ago but it didn’t work out for my lifestyle, just because I couldn’t remember to put the food in so many hours before. Lol. My best buy for the kitchen so far has been the air fryer. On a different note, I also have some grey velour/stretchy velvet and was thinking about making a Christmas dress too! I’m about ready to give up on the sequin nightmare I’m working on now! Have a wonderful Christmas Eve.
Beautiful job on the coat! Merry Christmas from the US 🎄. I will add my 2 cents into the health dialog. I have had similar issues with being non-functional, exhausted and it affecting me neurologically including an ischemic stroke. I have had excellent luck with Anthony William, medical medium stuff. The celery juice and especially heavy metal detox smoothies. It's just food and not a quick fix but it is a fix and not just symptom treating, aka band-aid. Good luck to you!
Hi, while watching your vlog I suddenly thought it sounded like you had what I have CFS, chronic fatigue syndrome and I was excited to message you and say as much but then you mentioned CFS therefore it obviously isn't that, it must be hard enough to suffer bi-polar without having the physical problems too. Don't listen to people who leave negative comments, I could guarantee they are not going to the effort of doing vlogs but think it's ok to negatively comment on others. I truly admire that you push yourself to do your vlogs and that your really honest about your situation, keep up the good work and remember there are a whole lot of of people out here all appreciating what you do and want you to know how wonderful you are. Take care and both you and Ian have a lovely Christmas and hopefully a year where you health may improve xx. Anne
I am so proud of you! Coats are very challenging and a lot of the patterns, I'm looking at you Big 4, do not have all the steps you really need to do to tailor a coat. Happy holidays
Superb coat I'm sure Iain will be chuffed to bits 😁 enjoy your festive break 🌲 and look after each other 😘😘 mine is complete now as my daughters are home for a few days 🤗💞
Your tree! So pretty! I'm so sorry someone made such a nasty comment, sheer ignorance. You handle those things better than I would I'm sure! You keep doing you and fabulous job on the coat!!
I have Hoshimoto disease a thyroid problem. Fatigue is a huge problem, foggy brain, and pain allover. Doctors are not very helpfull. I think your doing the best for yourself. That blue fabric is going to be amazing. That coat, truly stunning, your careful placement and attention to plaid matching. Merry Christmas and a wonderful healthy new year.
I love your videos. Thank you for letting us into your life. I experience symptoms similar to the ones you mentioned because of thyroid problems. It's awful to experience, but I'm lucky to know why mine is happening. I'm sad that they cannot figure out why you are having these symptoms and it must be so very frustrating. I will send positive thoughts to you for a diagnosis and treatment. You are so lovely, I really hope this is sorted soon.
What a wonderful update. Lots going on with you and all of it very important. I hope you will remember to share about your doctor visit when you can. Your tree looks wonderful and wasn't Mr. Ian such a tremendous help! I feel as though you are here with me enjoying a chit chat and it is very nice! I enjoy every minute really! I will be working on a flat project after Christmas so I have been going through all my supplies and tools and seeing what I have and what I need to complete it all. I am very excited about it because it is another step to making my flat more charming and cozy and it has been a journey for me to even get to this point. But sure enough, little by little, I am seeing progress and even if no one else sees or cares.....I get very thrilled! :) I know you understand! Concerning your health, you may not have a lot of control over many things but going to the new doctor will be a good step! Also, even though you are not into cooking that much, you have a LOT of control over what you eat and vitamins. Take small steps of consistency every day with one very nutritious and delicious dish and grow from there. It is a pain in the bum.....but it matters. You are so dear to me. :) XOXO Lots of Christmas blessings and hugs!
Jerry and I just bought 5 cups of coffee for you! That’s a lot of coffee. Or not too much fabric. But hugs come with it. Merry Christmas, Jay! Btw, thank you for being so honest about the cosmetic work you have had. Me, too. There should be no shame. We are living too long. You are beautiful no matter what!
Don’t let negative people upset you. Do what is right for you, ie cosmetics procedures, hypnotherapy etc etc. if it makes you feel good then do it. Merry Christmas to you and Ian talk soon love julie, Tasmania Australia.🌲🌲❤️❤️
If surgery makes one feel good about themselves, you should do that. Everyone should do what they need do, we all have different priorities in our lives. Merry Christmas!
Great news about the therapist. Hope it goes well. Well I am also still working on my plaid Cape which is for my mum and wanted it done for tomorrow. I've put the coller on so now I have the facings, hem and the closure to do. At least there is no lining. I too wanted to make a Christmas dress but I am too slow. Maybe I will make one after Christmas and I will be the first to finish next year's! Merry Christmas Jay and Ian x
I can relate to the issues you are having health wise. I had a severe case of PTSD, plus Lupus and both made me very tired. I would sleep for more hours than I was awake. I had brain fog which made it very difficult to understand what people would say to me. I was very frightened of leaving home and for about 3 years the only time I left was for Dr. appts and my husband had to be with me. I was given so much medication that made me gain weight and that made me feel worse. I gained 60 lbs in 6 months. Going from 125 to 185 was shocking to say the least. I was in therapy and after trying all types of cognitive therapy, a new therapy came along for the general public. It's called EMDR. It had been used for years with military people who suffered from PTSD, but had not been used much at all with civilians. It was a miracle for me. Within months I was able to be outside alone and felt safe. First I just stayed in the yard until I was comfortable and then began to venture around the block and across the street to the park. It took alot of work, but I can now go anywhere alone and feel confident. You might ask your therapist/psychiatrist about the possibility of EMDR being used with you. It was worth it for me and I am so glad I was able to find something that allowed me to have my life back. I live in the U.S.A. I am certain that this therapy would be available in the UK as many of the military people in the UK have come back from war with PTSD as well. Therapists are finding that EMDR works for any cause of PTSD and other forms of anxiety disorders. Best Wishes for a Merry Christmas and good luck finishing the coat. It looks fabulous!
I hope this helps but have you had your vitamin b12 checked . I have to have injections as my body doesn't make it.I feel like a run down battery when ones due and just fall asleep.Also.due to a disability,I'm in the house a lot and was feeling really down and didn't want to go out. They discovered my vitamin d was low so I have tablets and they make a lot of difference. The coat looks stunning,Ian will be amazed. If ,in the future, you have problems with fraying could you use a tape or leather to bind the edges and make it a feature. With your lights you usually have a white one which is the main one to change .Check all the lights are tightened,if one is even slightly loose they won't work .You should have had a small pack of replacement lights with your pack of lights when first bought. Also, any light shop should sell packs of replacement bulbs for about a pound for four, including the white one.I use an iron monger shop but there very few of them now. Ok information zone over. The blue velvet is stunning and your pink dress looks gorgeous.I watch your vlog just for you.I love everything about the vlog, the clothes you make are individual and look fab,you are honest but not rude and even though you battle with ill health you still allow us into your world. Have a special Christmas and New year because you deserve it for just being you.x
That coat is a-m-a-z-i-n-g!!! I totally empathise with all the neuro stuff - I had a similar issue a few years ago and went through the whole neuro testing, query MS etc. The not knowing combined with the testing and ping ponging through all the possible diagnoses was really stressful, mentally. it was when I had to stop driving as my vision was affected as well as my balance, abnormal reflexes and crippling exhaustion. After the ?MS they then thought I had MG so I had loads of tests for that. In the end we still don't know and it just became my new 'normal'. I found hypnotherapy really helpful and managed most of my labour with my youngest two (eldest was c-section) without pain meds just using the relaxation techniques. Fingers crossed it helps you and that your symptoms ease...and that they figure out what the heck is going on. Hugs xxx
I know you've had to work really hard with the coat but 1) it looks wonderful & 2) think of all the techniques you've mastered whilst making it! So well done you. That pink dress is very well made and looks lovely on you. The only thing to to with your illness is what you're doing right now, and that is to work around it. I do hope you feel better in yourself as soon as possible. Take care of yourself 🎅🏻🎁🎄
Hi Jay. So sorry that you have had negative comments. Some people are unbelievable. The coat looks great and you have done a fantastic job. My sister had ME and suffered from extreme fatigue which was so debilitating. I’m sure you will have ruled this out in your case though. Lovely to see you. ❤️
I’m telling you I would have cosmetic surgery tomorrow without a shadow of a doubt and I believe most would, but I would need a lottery win to do what I need,it fascinates me what can be done. You have made a great coat I’m sure Ian will love and appreciate your hard work. Love your vlogs ❤️
Great vlog Jay thank you for taking the time and importantly your energy. I can’t believe people can be that rude and quite frankly ignorant. We must all feel empowered enough to make our choices as we see fit. Love your dress/top really lovely colours on you. I’m sure Ian will be so proud to wear the coat it’s a good feeling when we make for our loved ones. I hope your hypnotherapy helps and you had a happy Christmas 😀
For what it is worth. No one gets to comment in anyway other than entirely positive. You judge no one and this needs to go both ways. Of course we all have opinions but it doesn't mean we need to, or should, share them. Un-asked-for advice comes across as criticism and that just feels bad no matter the toughness of our skin. We must surround ourselves with love.
I just love the beautiful plaid coat you have made for Ian for Christmas. I think it is perfect, and you look so happy with your effort, which is the best part. You as so talented, so NEVER second guess yourself Jay 😘. Far be it from me to be suggesting anything to do with medical conditions, I was wondering while listening to you whether Anaemia had been considered by your doctor. (I'm would imagine blood tests you've had would have revealed this) Just a thought. Have a good Christmas with Ian and Betsy, and I look forward to watching the next interesting installments from The Camden Stitch. 😘
Pretty tree and the coat is AMAZING l love the fabric you have used, l hope betsy is feeling better, l have been binge watching your video's and love them, l do hope your health improves next year 😊♥️
Hey Jay, before you said you’d seen a neurologist I wondered if you’d had an EEG to check if it’s a kind of epilepsy? One of my boys has epilepsy and the symptoms and seizures can be so varied. Also, is there any chance it could be linked to any medication? Loved your vlogmas and appreciate it must have been a massive undertaking given your struggles. You are amazing!!!! Xxxx
Hey Amanda, thanks for your lovely comments 💛 I have had epilepsy considered, in fact the one time I went to A&E they recorded it as an absence seizure, however I haven't had an EEG yet. At the neurologist next week so I'll see what he suggests. Hope you had a great Christmas 🌟🌟🌟
I hope all goes well with the hypnotherapist. I love your tree, the ornament of you and Betsey is amazing. Keep on keeping on, and to %^%&^% with the naysayers.
J, I love your videos. I really know nothing about medical conditions, but you said to send on any ideas. Soooo... I’m reading a wacky book that maybe possibly might interest you. It’s “Anatomy of the Spirit “ by Caroline Myss. She’s a medical empathetic, and the book is about how emotions can express themselves physically as medical ailments. Like real medical ailments, not at all suggesting that any of it is just in your head. Anyway, I’m sure many people will think the ideas are goofy, but I’m enjoying reading it. Maybe you would like it. It can’t hurt our physical state to care for ourselves emotionally! Much love :)
Dumbledore put it better than I ever could: “Tell me one last thing," said Harry. "Is this real? Or has this been happening inside my head?" "Of course it is happening inside your head, Harry, but why on earth should that mean that it is not real?”
You have done a fantastic job on that coat! Ian is going to love it! I think you probably have more than one syndrome, such as, Chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, and anything else you can think of. With all the symptoms that talk about, that seems the most likely scenario. It’s a shame that doctors today label people and try to push them off in a corner to suffer. The best unsolicited advice I can give is speak up, ask questions, hold you doctors accountable. Tell Ian to do the same, someone needs to be an advocate for you. Doctors take an oath, I would remind them, first, do no harm. Telling you to learn to deal with your problems is definitely doing harm. Sorry so long, it just makes me mad that you are mistreated by the medical community. I am a retired nurse of 30 years, and I stood up for patients until I retired. I know good care when I see it, and you don’t have it from your doctors.
Show us the slow cooker XD i'm actually curious to see it, or nosy. ;p Fiance wants to buy a rice cooker, and we're not Asians. we just hope the rice will turn out better. i used to make nice rice, but lately it's just 'blah, meh, what's next dish?' I wouldn't have guessed you had cosmetic procedures o.o Fiance also gets some done - fillers, botox, eye brow tattoo. PS: i likes how the clothing item you got had a similar pattern XD
Sorry to hear about your health problems .Did you ever had a vit D3 level tested ? I suffered from tetany and and I have had a lot of symptoms that you described.Hope you'll feel better soon .
It's your life, live it the way you see fit!! Ignore rude comments-you know what they say--"until you've walked a mile in my shoes, don't judge me"!! I've lost 129 pounds-so I have contemplated surgery-but I want to wait until I am done losing--if I choose to do so. Cute tree!! Love your topper! Betsey looks adorable, as always!! I like the dress!! Is that burn out velvet fabric?? That would make a lovely New Year's Eve dress! :+) I have fibromyalgia-since I was 13! Not fun. Have they ruled out Lupus?? I get tremors-and they have yet to figure that out!! I hope this new therapist can help ease your problems-and someone can actually give you a definitive answer!! Have a great week-end!!
You should pat yourself on the back Mis Perfectionist! You did a great job so be proud. Happy, Happy Xmas! Hey, I just heard you mention your symptoms. I just had some similar symptoms and the dr. found out I was low in iron and needed hemoglobin transfusions. If that is possible you can be helped.
All you can do Jay is keep on just being you - if people don’t like that, they can always unfollow! Probably a bit of jealousy 🖕The coat is amazeballs - Ian will love it I am sure! I hope you get to find out what is wrong soon - it’s always the case that when we don’t know we imagine the worst 😘😘❤️I just love Betty, she has the sweetest little black face 🐈❤️
I think you are cute! But I respect what you think you should do about your appearance. I'm ashamed of people who ignorantly comment and criticize you. They are using your hard work and giving nature in making Vlogs to use to tear down others. So sorry and block them.
The coat is beautiful! He’ll look quite dapper wearing it! So very glad you don’t have MS, I had an aunt with that and she lived for years fighting every day, even with medication, it was a fight to have a good day. She was the most beautiful person. I hope the hypnotist therapy, can’t remember what his title is, will be exactly what you need to feel better every day!
Fantastic coat .... Happy Christmas Jay, Ian and Betsy. Wishing you a happy and healthier New Year. Love your vlogs x

Amazing! You've done brilliantly! I've loved watching your coat progress.
That ornament your friend made is so wonderful.

Great job, I’m sure he will appreciate all your hard work.

Hugs xxx
That coat 🧥 is coming along so well!
Well done Jay! I love the tree! 💜❤️💜❤️
The coat looks fantastic. Loving the dress you are wearing, pretty lady. Happy Christmas to you and Ian from Jersey Channel Islands
Oooh love your dress, tree and slow cooker. Good luck with your 2nd hypnotherapy appt 💜
Both the ... coat, and the dress you put on
Its Christmas Eve in New Zealand x
Jay, you are so lovely. I really hope you can heal and blossom in 2020. Merry Christmas.
Ohhhhhhh Jay!!! So elegant and amazing!!!
Bloody fantastic
Fantastic job with coat ❤️
I’m telling you I would have cosmetic surgery tomorrow without a shadow of a doubt and I believe most would, but I would need a lottery win to do what I need,it fascinates me what can be done. You have made a great coat I’m sure Ian will love and appreciate your hard work. Love your vlogs ❤️
Your tree is beautiful. You looked so pretty today. Merry Christmas from America.
Good on you. Well done
A1C is the name of the glucose test
❤
Hoping the hypnotist can work for you x
Meghann White yes I believe that our emotions can affect our physical health, they mess about with all the chemicals in our body and create chaos xxx
Dumbledore put it better than I ever could:
“Tell me one last thing," said Harry. "Is this real? Or has this been happening inside my head?"
"Of course it is happening inside your head, Harry, but why on earth should that mean that it is not real?”
GORGEOUS!~!~! NICE WORK!
that blue really suits you
You have done a fantastic job on that coat!
AMAZIN!!!!!
I have fibromyalgia-since I was 13! Not fun.
Have they ruled out Lupus??
I get tremors-and they have yet to figure that out!!
I hope this new therapist can help ease your problems-and someone can actually give you a definitive answer!!
Have a great week-end!!
Coat
Your symptoms sound like: Chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS/ME)
I think you are cute!
