New Orleans gardener advice: I think you might lose those ferns unless you've got someone absolutely soaking them in the summer months. I've got drip irrigation on my hanging ferns and it is still hard keep them watered enough. You could probably just do fake ones and no one would notice. If you post the landscape plan, we could probably help suggest "filler" plants to help make the pool area more lush until the other plants mature. On another note, I'm glad you kept some of the vintage yellow bathroom tiles. If it wasn't a motel setting, that vintage tile would look great with painted stripes in either the yellow or blue.
This has been fun to watch the transformation. Thank you for turning our eyesore into such a great looking property! Welcome to the neighborhood. And, get Nikki Main to paint your mural. She painted the murals at the property in Main Street with the ♥️BSL out front😊
Enjoying the joureny! To your point on it never being a "nice" hotel, I'm not disagreeing with you there, however, I think where you set yourself apart is with the user's experience. You're creating a unique experience where you can tell this hotel was curated and intentionally designed. Keep crushing it, excited to see the next step!
I think a cement tile on the outside walkway under the awning, possibly with brand colours in it would really tie it together and make the exterior space 'pop' and feel special, another element that would be highly visible and give big bang for buck. Good luck!
Love your content. I’d really recommend not having a common area sink where ppl share space to use kitchen items bc it 1. Will get very messy - think of ppl in a dorm or roommates not cleaning up after themselves and 2. It can be unsanitary and off putting, that close to their check in experience but just my opinion

This is amazing! Great job. Like you said curating pieces will make that special. Absolutely you got this.❤🎉🎉🎉🎉
Loving the transformation...it really is amazing. I like it's not "cookie cutter" but is a little quirky.
Thanks! That's what we were shooting for
loved every minute! Keep it up - love you being you!
Thanks man!
Looks awesome

I appreciate that -- there are different kinds and levels of "nice", so important distinction to make

Love the blue door. If it were on the windows it would be too much. Using outdoor furniture and pot plants will bring more colour.
Wow glad someone agrees. Didn't think anyone would
