I just saw statistics on the percentage of vehicles making it past 250,000 miles. The Ram 3500 came in top of the list!

@freedomisntfree_44 the Ram will hit 500k while towing three times what the Toyota can. Toyotas are great trucks though, until recently.

@@theantiqueactionfigure if not for Cummins, there would be no ram. Cummins and aisen, the Toyota transmission maker for ram… are the only things that brought mileage to a ram.

@@freedomisntfree_44”Toyota transmission maker for Ram”? Are you sure about that???
The ZF 8HP transmission is ZF Friedrichshafen AG's trademark name for its 8-speed automatic transmission models for longitudinal engine applications. The name is short for 8-speed transmission with hydraulic converter and planetary gearsets. Designed and first built by ZF's subsidiary in Saarbrücken, Germany, it debuted in 2008 on the BMW 7 Series (F01) 760Li sedan fitted with the V12 engine. BMW remains a major customer for the transmission.

Got 5.7 2010 ram and I got a drivers front caliper hanging up. Gonna probably tear it apart to see if it can get remedied with some grease or gotta get a new caliper. Rotors probably warped already from it dragging, so probably should just do a full front brake job. New front diff, rear axle, front CV shafts, radiator flush, heater core, a/c compressor, stater, alternator, front sway bar links. 146k.

Does the 4wd get used often enough to warrant going 4wd over 2wd?
