  • I programmed a web scraper using Python to analyze the records of 1000+ Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competitors (10,000+. matches) The web scraper goes to each individual competitors record on BJJHeroes.com and it aggregates all of the submission wins to figure out which submissions are the most commonly used to win.
Github repo with the code files: github.com/CGRetriever/BJJ_Su...
Feel free to build off my code and make better bar charts and normalize the data more!
Let me know in the comments if you want me to give a line-by-line breakdown of the code and show how you can build a web scraper as well

      The code is here: github.com/CGRetriever/BJJ_Submission_Analysis/blob/master/BJJSubAnalyzer.py
If enough people request it, I will make a walkthrough video the code and show how it works
