    If a patient is able to reduce, do the results last? Or is it only temporary? Must you continue the therapy lifelong? Why don't doctors talk about this???

    I'm german, pretty much all optometrists are quite sure that it isn't really possible to reduce your axial length (except for some small variations which can occur). Do you have any studies abour your approach? There are a lot of people on the internet talking about stuff, but very few can provide scientific evidence. Can you? I've never seen a study before that proves it is possible to reduce myopia that much permanently. If you have such a study or any other evidence, that would be huge news and help a lot of people :)

      Hi there. I understand that skepticism rules based on what was taught in school according to an old paradigm. But the facts show different. Not only from a simple logical standpoint of deduction based on the reduction of myopia (knowing what must happen for this to be possible) but indeed we did have a patient who got it measured about a year ago and yes it was as we expected (reduced).
      Ultimately our patients do not really care about their axial length measure but really in the outcome of myopia reduction which we share regularly about.
      Oh btw we work with many Germans whose doctors told them the same thing too and said it was impossible to reduce myopia or regain lost visual function. I’m each case the docs are shocked when they re-examined their patients months later…
      Thanks for being here and for your comment!

      Can you share the results?

    • @MrZelektronz
      @MrZelektronz 16 дней назад

      @@Rccr6554 it's not possible or at least not sufficient. You might be able to reduce your myopia temporarily by 0.25-0.5 diopters, but not permanently and it doesn't do much if you have like 3+ diopters

    Why didn’t you mention Ortho-K? It’s better than Atropine and Misight.

    • @visontherapy
      @visontherapy  7 месяцев назад +1

      I didn’t mention ortho k because I was talking options I wouldn’t recommend. Ortho k isn’t dangerous but I still find what we do and how we do it to be more effective than using a lens to compress the cornea…

    The sound effects in your videos are very distracting for those of us who are visually impaired, especially the one that overlays your telephone number..

    • @visontherapy
      @visontherapy  6 месяцев назад

      Hi there, we do not deal with surgery or recommend it and recommend vision therapy instead But even with that we do not know your history to make an informed recommendation, especially with Duane's. But you are welcome to research surgery if that is what you are after. Thank you for watching.
