This actually sounds so much like an actual NES track, i know it's made in Famitracker/studio but the way it's composed lends to a 4 channel chiptine version super well, like you could have told me this was in a Capcom or a Konami game and i'd believe you. Often something is composed in famitracker it doesn't mean it actually sounds like it could have come from a game, but this gives me the exact same feeling as the 8-bit rendition of Goonies 'r' Good enough from Goonies on Famicom. Super well done!
Dude, this is great lol. I just cant stop thinking about how much lower could we go. How would a 1 channel beeper version sound? Would you mind if I used the midi to make a zx spectrum version?
The timeline where FEX became so popular that got their own Nes game
Finally some good content.
This is even funnier since the original song came out the same year as the Famicom.
oh thank god its not some lazy gxscc midi slap... thank you tbug

Dude I want to hug you! I was sure I was the only one on the internet who was annoyed by those pseudo 8-bit remixes made automatically in gxscc.

Like the wind, you came booping.
Amazing 8 bit mix! Makes me feel like I'm sitting in front of my NES using it as a music player. Really cool.
@@johnnymiller3793 you feel that way because that’s basically what’s happening lol, just a recording of it
@Tbug20 Not exactly though, because it's not actually on my NES. You should put it on a cartridge.
@ true, but everdrives are too expensive
Dang! How long did this take? Well done

You did much better with this song than I did, even though I never touch the NES soundfont.

There was a search for the song in 2019 that ended this month when the song was found after like 17 years. Of course there's covers of it.
