His vocal instrument is basically doing the Olympics right now, while his brain is jumping between two languages he doesn't speak or understand. While sitting down and holding control of his breath and pressure for the light female voice and the male voice. While ensuring he holds is face and mouth to keep the sound consistent. He is not a trained singer, he learnt a lot by just singing at his job as a child, he looked after chickens. Someone hear him and gave him some music to listen too, which is why he sings the song exactly like both singers. He had a very hard life, his mother left them, his dad was in prison, he lived in prison with his dad as a young child for a while. Then he struck out on his own a 6/7 years old. Lady luck was in his side, he was blessed with a brain and a voice. HE is married now with a family and has made up with his dad. All round good story.

He speaks a little English but learns songs by listening to the artists. He can sing in French Spanish Italian and Chinese all languages he doesn't speak. He is very humble and spends time and money helping less fortunate people now. He is an amazing singer, Dimash is also amazing but with years of training too.

I’m a huge Dimash fan and have been for 4 years and I’ve put off listening to Marcelito for around 2 years ever since I’ve seen him recommended to me 😅 and I’m pleasantly shocked after hearing this. The control you need to have to switch between registers so seamlessly is absurd and he’s so on pitch too, while singing live 😳 but I do feel like Dimash and Marcelito are 2 different singers that shouldn’t be compared and should both be appreciated for their own talent. I'm filipino and i found out about Dimash in remark sections on Marcelito's videos, with Dimash fan's practically bashing him.. Why? I searched for Dimash and realized why Dimash fans are triggered by Marcelito's talent. But Dimash voice is too shrill for my liking. To Dimash fans thinking he should be no. 1, then OK whatever.. i couldn't even find filipinos lashing at Dimash in his videos' comments section.

IN 2015 they auditioned for X Factor UK and that video has more than 188 million views on you tube. In Feb 2023 they performed before 55, 000 people in Manila. These ladies will leave you speechless with their vocal power and harmony.

De-Mash was De-throned. I felt the same way as you did before hearing Marcelito, that Dimash was the greatest singer in the world, but my opinion changed after experiencing this.
From a technical standpoint and also range, Dimash is a better singer simply because he has way more training. Morissete is more of a competitor for dimash than marcelito

Many people will suggest Morissette Amon now that you've done Marcelito. They're right. Gusto Ko Nang Bumitaw live band version on her channel is my recommendation. No subtitles available. Just enjoy her voice. Or her performance at the 2017 Asia Song Festival on Shay's channel (English songs and talking). Most reactors start with the Wish Bus and you can't miss with any of her performances there but I'd appreciate a different approach.

Yeah we didn't know anything about his history which speaks volumes about his talent. I know I've seen comments about him signing in multiple languages but to me that's not what is impressive because anyone can remember words you know. For me it's his ability to change tones and no kidding sound better then most women and men I've heard!

De-Mash was De-throned. I felt the same way as you did before hearing Marcelito, that Dimash was the greatest singer in the world, but my opinion changed after experiencing this.
It's tough right Marcelito blew my mind.
From a technical standpoint and also range, Dimash is a better singer simply because he has way more training. Morissete is more of a competitor for dimash than marcelito

Marcelito is a pure Raw talent having said his a true prodigy since his not train professionally but he able to bring up the pure beauty and his talent in the sky of talent and music vibrations and level without any reservation but pure vocal heart and spirit ! Many people will suggest Morissette Amon now that you've done Marcelito. They're right. Gusto Ko Nang Bumitaw live band version on her channel is my recommendation. No subtitles available. Just enjoy her voice. Or her performance at the 2017 Asia Song Festival on Shay's channel (English songs and talking). Most reactors start with the Wish Bus and you can't miss with any of her performances there but I'd appreciate a different approach.

I've experienced Marcelito Pomoy for more than 10 years. He won the third Filipinas Got Talent.
As I stated below, I am positive the two of you would be absolutely stunned by Marcelito's cover of "The Power of Love", a Celine Dion rendition of Jennifer Rush's original. In my opinion, this is Marcelito's best cover and I have listened to most of them.
First, I heard and was amazed by Susan Boyle's singing skills.
Then, I crossed-paths with Mr. Pomoy...
The human body, and vocal cords, are truly astonishing, and sometimes for all the very best of reasons!
There's no comparison between Dimash and Marcelito. As others have said, Dimash was classically trained since childhood. Marcelito is completely self-taught. And although he can sing in multiple languages, he can't speak them. He did a world wide tour last year. Love your reactions. He is mind blowing!
Yeah we didn't know anything about his history which speaks volumes about his talent. I know I've seen comments about him signing in multiple languages but to me that's not what is impressive because anyone can remember words you know. For me it's his ability to change tones and no kidding sound better then most women and men I've heard!

Mr. Marcelito Pomoy is Filipino and is well known (back home) throughout the Philippines. He sang this LIVE, SITTING DOWN and in ONE TAKE. He can also sing in six languages, fluently. He is completely self-taught.

Not bad for a kid that was born into abject poverty, abandoned by his mother and at the age of seven. He somehow survived and raised himself on the mean streets of the Philippines. He is as compassionate, kind, generous, respectful, honorable and humble as he is talented. In my eyes, he brings a whole new meaning to the term, "tough guy." I have the greatest respect and admiration for this man.
