I cannot tell you how much I admire people who can paint in good clothes. With no mishaps and nothing on their clothes. I have some "painting clothes" that I save for when I am going to paint. They save my good clothing, the floor, the walls, the concrete, and anything else I come in contact with. I marvel. How do they do it? Also....my favorite saying now is "Let's do this" when I am finished psyching myself up to do jobs I really would rather not do. It seems to get me into start mode. Love it.
I am the same way. I to,d a friend once that when she opens the can I will be wearing that paint. She thought it funny until it happened. Just a paint magnet.
That's the same color my sister is using on her kitchen dining table and chairs. It's a beautiful color. I need more bourbon now, so I wish you the best.
I actually like the red. Nice change from white. Sitting in the garden with coffee relaxing for a few minutes. That is one of life's little pleasures. Thanks for showing the watches again. I love them. Happy Mother's Day to all the Mom's.
That was great Illia and Mariana can't wait for the beams in and see all your hard work pay off great job Illia Mariana must be so proud of you for the tireless work you are doing.
Good to see both of you again. Aleays look forward to a new video. I'm thinking the same as Illia. How is he going to get the beams up there. Nice paint job Mariana. I love the color. Wishing you good health and happiness
Hello from Central Australia. Thanks for another episode! Your camera angles are so good and I love the music. I laughed out loud to see the shots of Illia looking at the steel and then the shot from the steel looking up to Illia in the window. Hilarious! Great storytelling in just a few shots. Great editing. I hope he finds a way to get them upstairs! Love your garden and the cobbles. There’s a very grand and wonderful landscape developing here. Very impressive. I wish I had a Time Machine to see your garden in 20 years time. I love the boardwalk and central platform and wildflower garden. I was dismayed at Marina’s choice of red paint but when I saw the finished product I changed my mind completely. It’s lovely. It would be nice to see some red tulips to complement the red chairs. I hope Annike the Catspector approves. Keep up the great work. You have fans all around the world. All the best with your lovely home project.
Your beautiful little trees and flowers grouped together and sitting around your present dwelling place on the cobbles are just gorgeous.Your clear love for the beauties of nature is so evident . As time goes by I know your property will be a place of absolute delight❤
I love watching your channel. But I was wondering why you don't do your beer tasting anymore? I always liked that part, the history on all the brewery's is very interesting.
Your property is looking so good now.... it's really nice to see you both enjoying the beautiful results of the back breaking work you both do....🙏🙏👍👍🇳🇿🇳🇿
That is a lovely shade of red and I think you did very well. That set isn't outdated and I think it will last far longer than keeping it in 'shabby chic'.
I love watching your channel…you have made so much progress ! Have you ever done a Q&A episode about how you came to live in Belgium, how you found your property ? What your future projects are…..Maybe I missed that in your earlier episodes ?
Don't forgot to put a clear coat on your outside furniture . Love the color. Next time if you want the rustic look just wire brush off the peeling paint , wipe clean and then paint a clear coat on it to save it from weather damage. Have a wonderful week. Loving y'all's flower garden
I would love an updated your of your little mobile home and know how everyone is getting along in a smaller space. I recall that the tiny house was meant to be bedrooms for your teens, did they move into it? How is it going for them and for everyone?
Love the red, please give at least 3 coats if you want it to last outside.. goodluck Illia with beams, alot of people have put some good suggestions about levels 😊 loving the flowers, what is pink one in pots near portable home pls Marina 😊
@@DeHoeveOldBelgianFarm Three years ago (17 Feb 2021) in your video "Exploring the attic of the 100+ barn" you found what was probably a threshing tool (at 15:50 minutes). I've just learned that it was used to separate wheat grains from the chaff. Did you keep it?
@@beverleybarnes5656 smth like this? commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Tool_for_separating_wheat_from_chaff_%2824433196223%29.jpg yes indeed, possible. Ours look a bit different, but very close. Thanks for the tip! It's on the attic in the bake house :-)
I hope🤞 the flowers from the last year dropped enough seeds. I already can spot some flowers but too soon to say whether it will be blossoming as last year.
Thank you for supporting! It's strange it didn't recognise, I just checked and it worked. Maybe a space at the end or in the beginning didn't allow to recognise it. 🤷♀
Perhaps a farmer with a telehandler can help you, a manitou or something like that. But inside you'll be needing a chain hoist and something to attach it to I suppose. Escape to rural France had a materials lift for hoisting the beam, perhaps you could rent one of those, but can the floor handle that pressure?
Have you thought about leaving a time capsule in one of the walls? Here in America we find shoes in the walls of old homes. They did that to “ward off evil spirits” I found one in our home built in 1898. It was a child’s shoe. Craftsman always leave a mark too with their name & the date.
I've always wondered about your paving stones around your buildings. In America, many of these paving stones were once used as ballast in old wooden sailing ships and once the ships began fading away, piles and piles were used to pave many streets. I never found out anything more or where they were originally quarried. Would you guys have any insight? Just curious!
have you figured out the beam problem? when not, how about bring your working platform in front of your house under the window, store a few of the on it and lift it from the platform into the (hopefully open) window...
Did you just open a can of paint with a chefs knife? I thought it can not get worse than Ilia butchering axes and wood chisels using them to break walls. How wrong was i...
Knife!!!! Please do not use a kitchen knife to open a tin of paint. You could lose an eye! Big mistakipoo. Please be careful and use the correct tools.
1 Kings 17:20-22 King James Version 20 And he cried unto the Lord, and said, O Lord my God, hast thou also brought evil upon the widow with whom I sojourn, by slaying her son? 21 And he stretched himself upon the child three times, and cried unto the Lord, and said, O Lord my God, I pray thee, let this child's soul come into him again. 22 And the Lord heard the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the child came into him again, and he revived.
I must admit I have never seen anyone open a paint can lid with a large kitchen knife, the red color was a good choice, and, if you cut your fingers the stains won't show

The red tables are cute! Love the pop of red against the green of your garden. The music choices in this video are fire! Means i like it a lot! Hugs
I am always impressed by all your hard work.
Painting in red with white shoes grey pants and no drop cloth is absolutely amazing. Hard to believe it but apparently you are that neat.
LOL definitely not too neat, there is blue paint on the pants back from the time when I was painting the windows. Thanks for kind words!
Hello. Your backyard grass is looking fantastic and lush. I have grass envy. All the best to you both.

Gee. That garden set turned out beautifully.
Looking good. Love the red colour of the outdoor set! 👍
The red is beautiful next to the back of the metal! Love it!
Marina did a beautiful job with the patio furniture! It looks wonderful!!!
I love the red table and chairs. Your whole property looks so inviting. All of your love and work shows in your surroundings.
Love that thrifted patio set! And the color is yummy. 😊
Be sure you also finished the underside of each piece if you want them to last! 👍
The table and chairs look better red. Good job.
Great save of the garden set. Looking forward to seeing the steel go up. 👍👍👍
Love the red on the patio set!

We got one beer from Netherlands that we would like to try in the upcoming videos.

Love the colour of the tabel and chairs well done
I agree! ❤
I agree to
Thanks a lot!
Your property is looking so nice with all the flowers, shrubs and trees.
Thank you so much! It's a real joy now, indeed!
Good work both of you. Particular love your choice of the bold red. It looks wonderful. Best wishes
OMG, the English Red is an awesome colour.
The table and chairs 💺 look beautiful 😍 🤩 and I love your flower 🌼 🌸 garden 😍 ❤️

Love the colour choice! ❤
Het begind al heel mooi te worden op de boerderij, en de rode kleur van de tafel en stoelen zullen mooi staan tussen al jullie gekleurde bloemen👍
Love to see your progress and hear your commentary.
The red is perfect.
Good luck with those beams!
Love the dark, dark red. ♥️♥️♥️
Your red table and chairs are lovely. I have a pair of red outdoor chairs and I love them.
Awesome color
Ik hoop dat je een veilige en goede manier vindt om de balken boven op hun plaats te krijgen Ilja.
Leuk tuin setje Marina.
The garden walkway is really nice now that the flowers are tall. What a lovely place 🥰

Looks awesome! 👏🏻 😎 🎉
Thanks for your vid 😇💟💟💟 Love and bless you guys.
Beautiful little garden set, and the color is awesome!
Beautiful paint job!❤
Thank you! 😊
Super Arbeit sieht einfach schön aus👏🏻👋🙂🙋♂️🇩🇪🤗😁
A perfect red! Will your wild flowers return?
I hope🤞 the flowers from the last year dropped enough seeds. I already can spot some flowers but too soon to say whether it will be blossoming as last year.

Ikeas legendary gardenset. We also painted it.
The red is lovely. Sadly though the sun is so harsh on red and it'll fade very quickly. Nice to enjoy for this year though!
True. Red paint fades faster than any other color. The rustic look will be back soon.
Yes, that was my thought as well. Then we are back to a "weary" look that I like.

Quedó bellísimo el juego de jardín, saludos desde argentina rosario
Looks amazing love the color
Cute ❤
Doesn’t matter how many angles you paint those types of chairs from you always discover a plank with a side unpainted a few days later 😂🍻
LOL yes, indeed
I just love the colour for the garden set. What it has to do with England defeats me but what do I know?????

ese rojo es precioso.
How well does the robot mower work with your garden beds and raised pathways? I’m very curious about your experience.
Where is the robotic lawn mower? Nice paint job, red is a good colour.

So dangerous to use a knife like that. I have seen blades chip and spawl. Terrible way to injure an eye. They need a paint can opener.
I had to rewind to see, but sure looks like it. Argh!!
Looks like what is called Barn Red in the US
I think she is a genius! Mother of invention
@@cathierose2009, I think that has a little more blue in it than barn red. Anyway, great color!

I understand your attitude towards English. But, isn’t it wonderful, YT has immediate translations?
It was very upsetting to see a paint can opened with what should be the sharp edge of a kitchen knife.

Thanks! I will be more careful.
Was macht der Rasenroboter ❓
It's such a great help now. The lawn looks great. I will try to include few 'review' shots in the next videos.
