Literally 3 teams with the same Record with only 2 games to go. So it ain't over until it's over.
Compared to the last two games against WA & MN - the Sky played pretty damn good and they did it as a team. Those last games against the Mercury were embarrassing blowouts. The WA & MN game losses even worse. So if the Sky pulled off this loss with so much dignity and grace by playing hard despite all the team injuries - that's a win in my book. Let's Go Sky. It ain't over til it's over. The playoff dream is still alive.

Clark has a very, very fly mouth. 🤣😂 She’s feisty. She throws elbows, shoves opponents. They are only recently starting to really call that push off. It’s all apart of the game.
Caitlin got hip checked by Carter. Carter lost her composure and retaliated against what Clark had been doing. (Clark elbowed her in the head and talked trash to her the previous play.) Carter shouldn’t have done it but that doesn’t make her a bad player. You haven’t heard of her getting into it, on the court, with anyone outside of that moment. So that moment shouldn’t define her.
Deshields bumped into her on accident and immediately tried to help her up. Clark also flops like a fish out of water. 😂😂 She trying to get the call and I’m not mad at it. Unfortunately that is apart of the game.

Griner has an amazing step-back, smooth and efficient. Milla needs to develop in that area and I mean ASAP!

Sky looked great out there, more coordinated, more sharing of the load and even though Kamilla was a tough loss, they still came up pretty nice against an undeniably solid team full of Olympians. No shame in that game Quita. The new players just need more time to gel with each other. Awesome game tonight, they could carry their heads high in ChiTown if you ask me.

It was a well played game on both sides. Rachel needed help when they was taking advantage of her on the mismatch. In the end, their shots fell and ours didn't.

Dallas is the worst team defensively in the league, that’s why they did so well. Izzy H is inconsistent, came in hot for that game and hasn’t put up the same numbers since.
Dallas is the worst defensive team in the wmba and they've beaten them with Angel on the team before so it was nothing New, what's new is Washington whom we've beaten with over 15 points and lost the last one with just 4 points in the last minutes with Angel on that team but they got blown without Angel with 31 points that's the first time all season any team have dropped that type of number. Minnesota Lynx on the other hand have only beaten us with 5 points and Nephssar Collier has never scored 16pts with Angel on her but in their last game She dropped her season high on them and they still got blown

Britney Griner is the female Tim Duncan. The only thing to get her is to get physical and make her rush, but Britney has learned how to take her time. Diana is the goat, I don't care what anyone feels about her. I was a kid watching DT at UCONN. She is boss. I love her energy, tenacity, and her love for the game. When they revealed to her the facility in Phoenix, I felt tears from her and that would have been a first. She's an Act and if this is her last season, I'm thankful she was able to leave the league in a better place than it was when she arrived. Thanks to the Kobe named, "White Mamba!!"

Brittney Griner has that weird, deceptive speed. She looks like she is moving thru molasses, but you still can't stop her. It's like in a zombie movie, when you take your eyes off her for a second, then look back and BAM, there she is. I think it's an illusion created by how tall and long she is.
Regarding Weatherspoon? Between the targeting of CC, Mabrey's sudden "Deuces", and some of the late season vibes, I just dunno what Culture she is creating. Maybe she is just stuck herding cats (See Chennedy Carter's WNBA history, 3rd team in 4 yrs, with that kind of skill? From Rookie of the Year to suspend and waived and out of the W for a year for "bad conduct"? Which sure the heck don't feel like has changed this season. But neither has her skill, whickh is always gonna tantalize a coach(GM, no matter what)Feels like the W's version of Terrell Owens or Antonio Brown. At least we ain't talking Ryan Leaf..), so I for sure am not saying she deserves the boot. I ain't in the locker room, so I for sure am just observing as an outsider, and could be dead wrong. It just leaves me with questions. Hopefully she answers them in her second season, as I agree, barring outright malfeasance, or incompetence, a Coach, especially a new one, needs that 3 yrs to show or go.
I think Diana Taurasi keeps playing even if it's no longer with the Phoenix Mercury. The WNBA's new TV deal and CBA (collective bargaining agreement) which is up for renegotiations between the league and the WNBA players association after the 2025 season.
If the new CBA includes a significant increase in players salaries, older WNBA players like Diana Taurasi may continue to keep playing even though the pool of talent from college will be even stronger like it was at this years WNBA Draft.
Maybe she can sit behind Paige Bueckers
So why did Taurasi hit the stanchion and not get a technical like Caitlin did twice by one of the same refs in this game?

Both are under contract for 4 years and Caitlin would only play with Anger if her team acquired her. Caitlin would actively avoid playing with her, as she'd never get the ball back and Reese would miss 10 assisted layups a game

As for the playoff races, I think Minnesota wants to play Phoenix instead of Indiana in the first round so they won't have to open the upper deck of the Target Center and be outdrawn by Caitlin Clark fans.
Indiana with their win today over Dallas has clinched the #6 seed and Phoenix is the # 7 seed. The Connecticut Sun losing to the Las Vegas Aces today means they are likely the # 3 seed and a first round playoff date with the # 6 seed Indiana Fever.
That means the fans of the Connecticut Sun and the Mohegan Sun Casino and Resort will be "Enchanted" to host 2 playoff games against Caitlin Clark.

@@comfortsheriff1352 I do occasionally watch Quita and listen to her analysis. Quita has a great voice that is easy to listen to and is very informative about the WNBA. Sometimes I don't watch her videos all the way through. I like short videos the most. Angel took some bad advice on how to play and act her rookie year. All I can say Angel needs to decide if she wants to play ball or be an some kind of influencer. Hopefully Angel will take the off season to find some people who truly care and will support her for "REAL" and help her grow and not use her for their own agendas. Try not to lose you cool over the media trying to pit fans against each other. Caitlin, Kamilla and Reese will bring more viewers to watch the WNBA. That's if they play their cards right
@@robertwilson2007 well it seems it is you who have allowed the media to use you going by how you've concluded that Kamila doesn't get enough playing time simply because she's not the most productive of the two rookie in that sky team and about Angel doing what she does off the court, there are many who wished they had worked on their brands earlier instead of just doing basketball, basketball isn't a life time career just like Candace Parker said, what happens after basketball? Angel is Angel and Clark is Clark, the fact that Clark choose to co concentrate on basketball doesn't mean others like Skyler Diggings Smith, Flau'jae Johnson Arike Ogunbowale who have a life outside of basketball should do same and Angel doing whatever she does isn't the limitations to her offensive skills which is the only area she is lacking and is not the only skill required to be a successful basketball player. With this same limitations she's lead her highschool team to win 4 national championships, with this same limitations she was the highest scorer on her LSU championship team, with this same limitations she has also being able to contribute to this Chicago team who were placed last coming into this season because they did not have any starter from last year and now fighting for the 8 seed. You mentioned bad decisions? Show me who among all the wmba players including Clark who is perfect and I'll be waiting but they all have people who root for them, Clark's anger problems for instance that have lead to her having 6 techs in the wmba and would have been suspended if she got one more, her lack of defensive skills that have balls stripped off her hands and leads the league in turnovers, is that not a limitation? Is she crucified for it, isn't those imperfections downplayed and her strengths blown which is scoring and passing to such an extent people don't pay attention to her tantrums on the court and other weaknesses? Angel Reese knows her strengths and have maximized them, she also knows and talk about her weaknesses, which she will also work on.
If Chicago is to be a better team next year it WON'T be under a coach who ENCOURAGES her players to commit acts of violence instead of concentrating on playing THE game.
