@@itapaisley9903 it might shrink back up. my aunts a hairdresser and works with 4c hair sometimes. unless you also get it flat ironed, then it might shrink back up

@@esther9210 it might be because of the hair product and how detangled your hair is when you start. Usually when my hair is damp and detangled with just some leave in and a little heat protectant it blows out nice but whenever I don’t really detangled it or when I accidentally use to much product it’s really difficult to work with and it’s usually real stiff. Hopes this helps some!

We have the same hair except it's more 4a at the nape. Sadly it's so thin or fine now and my journey would be over if it was thick. Ugh the struggle

I have some olddd videos with me doing natural hair styles. I may do them a little more often. I just rarely wear my hair out and when I do it's usually flat twist outs or blow outs or straight lol

I was about to say I just like that part too. They be looking at me weird when I ask for just that when I go into a salon. I just be like a wash, deep condition, clip my ends if needed and a blow-dry. They be like you mean a silk press or a blowout. I be like naw I said what I said. Lol

So when you do a blow out... When does the hair go back to it's natural state??
The biggest key is heat protection when you do the blow out. Damaged hair will not revert back to the original natural state. It will curl but differently. Protect your hair.
To get back to natural after blow out, wash your hair with a good shampoo (I like clarifying) then deep condition (extra points for a cap and/or sitting GB under the dryer with that cap). Rinse and you will be back to natural state.

It may be the products you're using and even the blow dryer. Practice makes perfect 😄
