- I have put together a new selection of viral ballet tiktok for you, which I will watch and react to right now! I definitely didn't expect to see this! What do ballerinas shoot on TikTok that just amazed me? How useful and practical are their advices? You will definitely be surprised when you find out the whole truth! But there were also videos that made me laugh a lot! So watch this video from start to finish to find out all about ballet TikTok in 2022 and 2023 and see my various reactions to it!

I'm not normally a fan of these types of videos because so many people just use the opportunity to mock the original creators and make them the butt of a joke... but you are so warm and positive that it's actually a joy to watch your content. I so appreciate your positivity, humility and the way you always seek to find something supportive to say. You are a light on a platform that's not always a kind place.
The ribbon is stretch ribbon made by Bloch. It's great for fast changes during class too. They're also quite matt, with no shine at all.
Suffolk, Gaynor, Grishko/Nikolay, BodyWrappers, and RP make it now too.

The ribbon is just normal stretchy ribbon it’s just sewn a different way (in a loop) so you can fasten the ribbon in that quick way

the ribbon is called bloch strech ribbon, it helps prevent tendonitis and is extremely helpful if you have a disapering heel. you should definitely check it out ! :)
A lot of other brands also have stretch/elasticized ribbons, not only bloch. Grishko and gaynor mindens have them too!😊

It’s an elastic ribbon Bloch,Gaynor minden and grishko are the brands I know of that sell these they’re freaking awsome! So easy and Bloch satin elastic is the prettiest looks even’ more satin lik3 than a satin ribbon and there’s a ways to put them on even faster u just make them the way they’re supposed to be on your anckle and cut and sew and u don’t unwrap u just put them on as the ribbons are the entrance of ur shoes no twisting even hehe😎

I was wondering why not so many subscribers? But it's more like the channel for a ballet community? Maria is the real artist, 24/7 not only at performance or practice time. I'm grateful from the bottom of my heart for that amazing shiness and certainly for so much of hard work and effs! Looking forward for the third part. English sounds exceedingly assuring. I'm not native user, and usually having a hard time when listen another one but not this time

I love sewing my ribbons in a loop. They are definitely convenient, and you never have to worry about your ribbons sticking out!

11 seconds to put on pointe shoes???? I'm with you, I would try that ribbon, too. It takes me ages to get my ribbon ends tucked in properly so they don't look sloppy. 🤣

the ribbon act it's just an elastic ribbon sewed as a loop, so you take one side if the ribbon and sew it to one side of the shoe ad the other side you sew to the other side of the shoe and job done!

Yes about looking nice when practicing with a mirror! I do ballroom and even on days we're sweating like crazy I put on a bit of makeup and some well-fitting clothes. Then I can tell if my move looks bad or if it's just me being annoyed I look disheveled!

XD Maria has discovered loop ribbons. Instead of cutting elastic ribbon into two pieces per shoe, you sew it in a certain way so it's one piece. I have yet to actually achieve it without getting all twisted tho haha.

Can you tell me please why you specifically change your pointe shoes for the first Act solo variation in Giselle? Is it that you need softer shoes for the first part and harder shoes for the solo? Can you elaborate?
How, how, how, do y'all bend your feet in pointe without getting intense foot cramps? I can't bend my toes down at all without a cramp.
You get used to pointing your toes a lot in ballet so you RARELY get cramps
i can tell who a ballerina is just by their posture. LOOK AT HOW STRAIGHT HER BACK IS
I DO NOT RECOMMEND ELASTIC RIBBONS FOR POINTE SHOES AT ALL. THE FUNCTION OF THE RIBBONS IS TO GIVE SUPPORT AND PROTECTION TO THE ANKLE, WHICH ELASTIC TAPES DO NOT DO.

I'm sure there is a reason for not using the single elastic ribbon in pro ballet.
Pulling up a single leg on your pants helps with balance. That might sound so stupid, but why does it feel true when it's probably not?
Without watching the video I am convinced the thumbnail is a hand dressed up to look like a hyperflexed foot in a ballet slipper and if it's not then it is too creepy to watch. =)

I really appreciated the comment where you said "If you see anything ugly..." rather than using some politically correct term for it. Nowadays its rare to hear someone use a real word like ugly. Its a real thing when you look in the mirror and you aren't pleased with what you see on a daily basis. It can really demotivate you. So your comment really resonates with me at true. When you see something 'beautiful' you are more motivated to do better for yourself. Now that isn't to say that ugly or beautiful arent subjective, because they surely are. But within reason. A lesson in facing reality and working hard to achieve what you want, rather than todays acceptance of things we all know are not attractive.
