I almost lost it when you called out that person for having accidentally attributed the Marinsky performance to the Bolshoi dancers, it was hilarious! Thank you for being always so gracious and down to earth.
As with the previous two in this series, I appreciate how kind you are in your reactions - and the way you add background information so the audience "gets" the ballet jokes. This was a great start to my morning!
I love how gracious and kind and encouraging you are, Maria. I am a trained danced and it has always stayed with me. I'm a life-long dancer and lover of ballet and now I'm enjoying watching my daughter dance. This was fun! I love to see your reaction and comments! Keep posting! By the way, the Mariinsky Swans are the ultimate swans!
7:25 so true. I did ballet for 13 years and then stopped for 3 yrs cause life got to difficult. I recently went back and it's amazing, I felt like i had been grieving ballet for those 3 years. I'm not /me/ without ballet
I agree with you, I like the tutus better in this dance because it allows us to see a bit more of the movements since this dance is all legs. The Royal Ballet long skirts are very beautiful and probably look amazing when the dancers are not so close together, it just doesn't show off this particular dance as well.
my daughter had her hair cut short and her teachers didnt realise that her bun was actually dolls hair inside a bun net attached with pins , anyways her teacher went to pull her by her bun to straighten her up and ended up with a fake bun in her hand🤣
Your beautiful words and attitude make the love of ballet so real for me! I loved ballet and took many classes without ever point shoes. As a child I took these classes to accompany my main focus as a gymnast! Thank you for your love of this beautiful culture.
I would like to see a video on your favorite feet stretches. I know you've done a video on this however that was a year ago so maybe you have some new exercises! You are such an amazing dancer Maria Khoreva and you will always inspire me!
I guess like most average guy's I never gave much thought to anything concerning ballet dancing that is until I came across a youtube video that was about how much pain dancer's deal with especially with their feet.. I think that most people don't realize how much these dancers suffer.. I have come to appreciate Ballet and respect the talent of the Men and Women who have worked so hard to achieve such a beautiful art.
I'm no dancer but in the last clip, I think the head movements were slightly different. Maniinski made more tilts and turns with their heads and it looks beautiful.
Beautiful!!! Thank you. Please can you post or share a video about Nutcracker ballet or any Nutcracker's rehearsal or backstage story? Thank you very much for sharing your valuable knowledge with us ❤💯🙏
Just back from modern dance practice, seeing this video made my day, totally. For the first tik tok you saw when there was “I wish I had their feet” well I’m that type of GIRL who, at 12/13 years old, has a beautiful feet and SH pointe shoes (SH It’s like the platform of the pointe and It’s the strongest one, I don’t know how to say it but I think you got it). Last year a lot of my friends form dance told me “you have a beautiful feet, I wish I had it” “you’re sooo brave en pointe” or something like that and now my ballet teacher is literally killing me whit practice, she’s trying to make me look perfect in it (referred to pointe) because I have strong calves but they are not strong enough 😩. But really thanks, this video made my day complete, thank you you for this type of content I really appreciate it ^^
6:13 I think I can summarize this: Put in as much effort as is healthy. Work hard to keep your passion alive, but don't ignore your physical and mental needs.
Definitely like the classical Little Swan outfits better than the Royal ones. Don’t get me wrong, the Royal one is pretty too, but, the top one is what I think of when I think of the dance. Though, I’m not a ballet dancer, just someone who wished they could have been lol
Hi Maria, I would like to see a video of an advance level of streccing, also to stay in shape youring the Christmas holidays. Thank you a I wish you a happy Christmas!
Honestly, most RUclips "reaction" videos are a complete waste of time. Most of the "reactors" are opinionated nobodys, with nothing useful or instructive to say. But... This kind of "reaction" video is a completely different thing. It's really more of a proper review. And it's informative while being entertaining. Best of all, it's done with the kindest, sweetest, most constructive attitude. I really love this.
So wonderful, this channel and your talking to us. To us. Would you ever consider sharing your experiences with dancers, coaches, from earlier generations who come and teach you variations, style, etc... passed down from generation to generation?
Can you please do an episode that shows you doing a practice with your coach Elvira Tarasova! It sounds like you love your coach and it would be neat for fans and aspiring dancers to see how the two of you work?
Seeing people like Maria gives me so much inspiration. I have never done ballet before, I kinda got stuck when I started rowing but goshh I‘d love to learn the art of ballet ❤
You are from the right side of the screen that's not fair! My dominate eye is the right one and I can't change an accent to the left but... But that fine. Please continue with this great look of yours. It does so beautiful impression after all. Just looking at hard working person is great. I know what am I talk about. Once I had an acquaintance with young not professional balerina enoough long time ago and now she lives abroad in Japan. So she described ballet activities. Was really interesting hints to know for example what they'd done on practice before stand up on pointe shoes or what injury and surgery she have had to care about. So I'll mute complete at all about "the professional side of the coin". If you are looking for topics for vids. What if you'll make reaction on ballet anime? "Princess Tu tu" or "Dance Dance Danseur"? You'll take an attention from younger generation who not so interested in ballet yet. Well. To write in english like to get on pointe shoes. It's much easier just to talk. Thanks for amazing video! Looking forward for Tik Tok Reaction Part 4-th (of Marlezon Ballet =.)
I would love to do a reverse switch for one day with a ballerina and a RN on a med surg floor with 7 patients. I would die on my feet as a ballet dancer, maybe even getting a concussion from falling flat on my face, but I would dare any ballerina to do a 12 shift on a floor with 7 patients on a busy med surg floor. Just wonder who would be batching the most me or them. This is all in fun. No disrespect to ballet dancers, my god that stuff is physical. Would just be a fun idea. When I take a vacay for one week the first day back at work I am dying in my legs and my stamina.
I have been an RN for 25 yrs, and I have been a dancer. I guarantee that a 12 hour day of dancing is much more difficult than a twelve hour day of working the floor. When dancing, we use all of our muscles, we are jumping, going en pointe, turning, etc., and we are doing it with little food. On the floor, we are only walking, we get a lunch break where we can eat a heavy meal if we so desire, and we aren't sweating out every ounce of the hydration that we take in. At the end of the work day from the nursing floor, my feet are sore, but they don't have blisters, and they aren't bleeding, callused or numb. Well, I have CRPS in my right ankle now due to an injury, so now there's pain and numbness, but that's a different story. You wouldn't be able to keep up with a full day of ballet class unless you were used to it, and you couldn't put in the actual pointe work, which would invalidate the comparison. Take it from someone who did both. Nursing is far easier physically. Psychologically, there are issues with both. Nurses are overworked and underappreciated. That is the bigger issue.
@@jenx5870 I don't think you worked where I did, I left with shin splints everyday. Two nurses for 20 patients with no aides on night shift, every muscles was screaming when I left. Nope. You can't convince me, it depends on what type of job you do as a nurse, some are real killers.
Philosophical thoughts are inevitable, because when you are a professional athlete - artist, (especially in individual sports), you are working your discipline, you concentration, you are starting to spend a lot of time with your self, it's amazing really! You are not only starting to know your self deeper, also philosophical questions are arising about your life, the universe, God!
About last tiktok. Royal Ballet....omg! What's wrong with their legs?! No lines, no strength. They are Moving Like lame cows, not swans! Especially the second one. She's fall forward like she's drunk, and other girls try to keep her standing
I almost lost it when you called out that person for having accidentally attributed the Marinsky performance to the Bolshoi dancers, it was hilarious! Thank you for being always so gracious and down to earth.
It would be awesome if you could do a reaction/walk through of your examinations at the academy! Especially your graduation exam!😄
omg would be iconic
I strongly second this!
Yes please, Maria! 🙏

Yes ballet stays with you, thank you Maria to remind us of that.
Thank you for reacting to my video! (I was the first one) 🤍
Maria, you are not a "professional ballerina", you are THE ballerina of this generation!
I love that little kid doing the attitude!
I love this phrase you say "You can leave Ballet but Ballet won't leave you"
Thank you for your articulate intelligence and eloquent thinking. Your mind is as accomplished as your body...or, vice versa!
"your pointe shoes are dead, you yourself are dead, everyone around you is dead" 😆
my daughter had her hair cut short and her teachers didnt realise that her bun was actually dolls hair inside a bun net attached with pins , anyways her teacher went to pull her by her bun to straighten her up and ended up with a fake bun in her hand🤣
Haha, that’s great 😃 Pulling hair is so rude 🙄 I like that the ballet teacher must have felt really stupid 😅
Your beautiful words and attitude make the love of ballet so real for me! I loved ballet and took many classes without ever point shoes. As a child I took these classes to accompany my main focus as a gymnast! Thank you for your love of this beautiful culture.

Loved this third one the best because of the deeper insights. I appreciate your balance and empathy ❤

I think the royal costumes would be better suited for a different ballet
I loved the way you jumped at your laptop when recognition kicked in. 😃

So nice video! Your reactions are so cute)))😘
I think all types of your life style videos would be interesting)
May be your day as a ballet dancer)❤️
I’d love to see you dance more. You are my favorite ballerina💕💘❤️
I love this videos, but if id Ask about any video i really want you to post a balett class. Maria you are so talented, i love your content!
so happy to see one more of this series! :D hahaha
Maria, you should do a reaction video of Josephine Lee (The Pointe Shoppe) reacting to ballet TikToks.

I was gifted with the wonderful gift of terrible bunions and flat arches /s
I am interested, in how you picked, that the top dancers, weren't Bolshoi ballet, but the other one; many thanks

okay, but did anyone notice the kid move his (presumably) dad's hand out of the way at the end?

how is it possible to be so perfect in English when you spend most of the time at trainings?
Можно с переводом?
Английский очень хороший, но не нужно так быстро говорить. Американцы не говорят так быстро кроме одного репортера Шапиро. Удачи!

Have you considered visiting an optician?
I wish more Russians would move to America so that we could have more rhythmic gymnastics and ballet schools!
Bolshoy is far better
I feel like she doesn't really get the point of reaction videos. Please stop saying "without a further to do"
if you dont like how she does her video, just dont watch them. You can click out, im sure its not that hard :)

Yes, the sweetheart: the saying is, ‘Without further ado, …’ and it’s a slightly underused expression these days (UK) ❤
Your English is excellent. Almost as good as your dancing, which is beyond excellent 🤩
And her piano playing …!
