This mini book is decorated inside and out. I used scraps of paper, lace, ribbon, and trim to make it. I also show how to make an adorable bookmark.
This little book could be displayed in a Dollhouse. It could also be made into earrings or used as a charm or keychain.
The dimensions of the finished book are 7/8" tall x 5/8" wide. The cover, including the flap, is 1 3/4" x 7/8". Without the flap, it's 1 1/2" x 7/8". Your dimensions will vary depending on the thickness of your pages and materials.
I have lots of projects planned ranging from abandoned miniatures, furniture makeovers, dioramas, accessories, kits, and Dollhouse Miniatures in multiple scales. I also have a large Harry Potter build planned for 1" scale.

You're welcome :) It makes me appreciate my full-size junk journal even more. It must have taken a while to make. It took me 2 hours to make the little version, but it would've been shorter without filming, and I spent time trying to think of what to do.

That is so adorable. You have a lot more patience, to be adding all those little details, than I do. I would have been happy to just get the pages to stay in! I'm glad that you did add all those details as it's the little details (as in any miniature) that makes it so darn cute. I wouldn't mind seeing more of the larger journal. Hint, hint...

Love this, it's so cute. I know how you feel about things dropping when you try glue them. Was adding tiles to my cottage kitchen and they are so small and fiddly they kept jumping off the wall
I am always dropping things! When I was making the 1:144 scale farmhouse, I spent a lot of time under my desk looking for tiny pieces I had dropped.

Loved the bookmark with “wanderlust”. LOL I have made itty bitty paper clips from Antique or Copper colored Floral wire. And they worked!

FYI.... after having to toss a bottle of that not so cheap glue ( 3N1). I had a happy accident. Those screw off caps to plug in air fresheners fit perfectly to the clears glue bottles. Keeps them air tight when not in use. I set tge original nozzle top on top until I need to use the glue.
That's a good tip! Thank you. I haven't used 3 in 1, but I think I'd love it. I love Fabritac, although a lot of it gets wasted if I don't screw the cap down as tightly as possible. It seeps out and hardens.
@@queencityminis you had the 3n1 in a short clip I thought, but..... they fit on fabric tack, and the aliens (sp) clear glue also. I think it's a glade. We have 2 types in the house. Air wic and glade. It's the bigger of the 2.
So cute, just like a real junk journal with pockets and tags and lace. Far too delicate for a keychain though, not the way I treat my keychains
Mine hangs off my purse so I don't lose them. It's a Prius key fob. Costs $500 to replace.

Its wonderful how real life creates inspiration in unexpected ways. Book making can be a lot of fun, but you are always bringing that next level detail and often in ways I wouldn't even think of. Can I ask, what do you do with all your minis? Do you have a display set up that you could show off? Or do you give them away or sell them? (It's always been something I wonder about as I'm busy creating stuff....what am I going to do with this now it's done? )
Thank you! All of the things I've made are currently sitting in a box on a shelf 😬 Not the greatest thing. The mini shed I made is sitting in a potted plant, so at least that one sees the light of day.
You are so funny and so clever. It is such fun to listen to - and indulge my delusion that I will make some of your things. Also, do you take photos of your own photos, so you don’t have to use a picture - briefly - of a random lady? It’s an easy way to “special up”spaces and things. (I know you know that; I’m just visiting now.)

I believe I got them at Earth & Tree Miniatures? I can't believe I can't remember for sure. Either that or eBay. They are intended for 1:12 dollhouse miniatures.
Q: How long do you dry something with a hair dryer? A: Until your thumb gets too hot! LOL!
