Hi Robert, I've also accumulated a substantial amount of gold in the past two years. The first time I sold the bunch prior to the pile I have now I left the pawn shop with an empty gutt turning feeling inside . I got just a little bit over $700.00 bucks . Some of the pieces as jewelry sold close to that amount if not more . I honestly didn't even need the money. If I could return the money for my gold I would have done it no questions asked . I rather keep my treasure it's so much fun sharing my finds with friends and family . Money is good if you need it, it's a great tool . But looking at the reactions I see when sharing my finds is worth much more than money to me. Big Mex from California USA. Good luck

Just started watching your videos and I also subscribed. My name is Todd from Virginia. I just started detecting. My home is 1797 and historic. In two months I have found cool silver coins, 3 civil war buttons and other items on these 7 acres. Love the hobby and thx for your videos. I also watch Ed the beach hunter.

Some Beach, some where! Always a good ride along, Robert. The competition is crazy everywhere! They need to put up traffic lights along the east coast of Florida when a Nor' Easter like we just had comes through. " Now serving detectorist # 182. Please remeber to stay within your alloted GPS co-oridinates". LOL!

    Robert,
Enjoyed your video very much. Don't be afraid to show your face once in a while, also those of fellow hunters you run into. People make videos extra interesting.
Nice commentary as you go, too.

Nice rings . I would not sell below what they are worth . Scrap or otherwise . Look for a good scrap merchant that doesn't con . Dont forget its your effort for the year finding them , you should benefit from them if selling .

Better pile than some hunters though. You need to use that machine like it was meant to be used, get it wet waist deep or scuba deep. Dodge the sharks and you will be okay.

why sell it for less than scrap value if its worth more than scrap value? any gold buyer will pay scrap value so thats the minimum it should ever be sold for.

But your counting it as 24kt gold instead of 14 kt. you have to cut the price in half cause it;s only half gold. Your giving yourself full price as if it's 100% gold?
