Get some wood matchs/ toothpicks, jam them in the hole where the screw was and then cut the excess off even with the board. That fibre /particle board just strips out so easily. For a more permanent fix put some wood glue on the wood matchs/toothpicks and let it dry overnight. Works like a charm. We have probably don’t every screw in our trailer at one time by now.
We went there in 2017 and it was beautiful in July. If you get a chance to go back, there is a fish hatchery that is a must see, the Pink Salmon are stripped of eggs there and released... you would walk on the fish. The bear, sea lions and eagles were awesome. We stayed at Bear Paw CG for water and sewer hook ups for two nights in town. There were wild rabbits everywhere! Mineral creek was an awesome ride to see some wilderness and checking out the old settlement of Valdez was great. FWIW you might try adding some strap hangers to the rear of the fridge to help hold it in place. Enjoying your travels! Team work is so important in a relationship, you guys are awesome!
We love you both so much. Been watching since you bought your camper last summer. You seen to really enjoy each other and we love that! This video was great, as always. You touch on things that we feel are topical, interesting, and beautiful. 🐾🐾🐾
Hey we just discovered your channel and love it! We are planning an extensive trip up to Alaska later this year and your videos and places you boondocked are super helpful. We will watch them all! Great job on the filming and editing and we really love the drone footage too.. well done!
Thank you so much! That means a lot :) I hope your trip planning goes well! We also have some itineraries and maps on our website for many places up north. You can check it out at www.letsjustgotravel.com
Just gorgeous scenery. Love the snow capped mountains. Never heard of a glacier lake so that was amazing. Can’t wait for the next video. Hope the refrig is behaving itself.
Hi we have watched your video from Australia we leave in May to spent 5 weeks touring in a camper on this episode you didn’t say the name of the campsite near Valdez , keep travelling ✈️
I love seeing my home state of Alaska through visitor's eyes. Your energy and enthusiasm (and laughter) is infectious! But didn't anyone in Valdez correct your pronunciation of Valdez? It's weird hearing VAL-DEZ rather than VAL-DEEZ, which is how it's pronounced. Glad you had a great time!
@@LetsJustGoTravel I enjoy ALL your vids! And I saw in a later one that Valdez was pronounced correctly. When you come back to The Last Frontier and visit the Kenai Peninsula, say KEE-NIGH not KEH-NIGH. That's another one that trips people up. 😆 Keep putting out awesome videos and safe travels!
I've been following you since Mexico. Wish I was along for all the fun. I have a question, and a possible suggestion. Question: You're obviously using a drone some of your footage and its awesome. But have you had any legal issues around that? I read Mexico and US national parks aren't friendly about that. Suggestion: The idea occurred to me to use duck tape around the door and over vents to prevent the dust and dirt when traveling down dirt roads. BTW, bought a used 2022 166FBS based in part in your videos.
This dust sich is a major issue with the trailer- I wonder if the manufacturer knows that it’s like that- because I imagine there are others who boondock! And the fridge - Ergh
Hey Mike, really enjoy your channel! It must be a lot of work putting together videos; really appreciate the effort! I was wondering if you have a tire pressure monitoring system? If so, what brand and how do you like it? I have the same camper as you and Dayna and was thinking of purchasing one, however the tire pressure is 80 psi so I think that rules out quite a few models. Thanks!
Cheers thanks for watching! Yes we have a tpms system, we use the tireminder solar for trailers. Works great! It’s listed under our gear in the video description.
Hi Mike, I checked the model you linked and it has a max PSI value of 70. Some folks state in the Amazon comments it still works > 70PSI anyways, but just checking if the link is the model you purchased or the mid/high range Tireminder model which covers >70PSI?
@@TorontoAreaNestBox oh weird! I didn’t know it said that it’s max is only 70. Mine is set to 80 and goes higher if needed so the comments are correct. I’ve seen it go as high as 90 on really hot days

Not a bad idea!

HAHA no one in person corrected us. But we have since learned the correct pronunciation. Happy you still enjoyed the video! Can't wait to visit again.

Oh no! You guys left the waterpump on while traveling?
Haha ya we forgot to turn it off before moving sites!

Are you concerned about leaving your camper in the middle of no where when you go exploring?
We’ve never had an issue but that is one of the risks we take everywhere we go. Just part of this lifestyle!
Has Jayco contacted you guys for a sponsorship?
Lol I wish ! Would love to get paid to go camping 😂
What month did you arrive? Curious
This was in June!
