Pacific Strike • Mission 5: Coral Sea 2

First Japanese flattop sunk. Sadly we lost Squints on this one. That's what cool about this game - none of this is scripted. I flew that mission again and was able to keep Squints alive, and so we will continue the storyline where Squints actually survived, so we can chat with him some more. Though I left this video so we can see the funeral scene.

I have the Japanese PS1 spinoff of this game, Zero Pilot. Uses the excellent soundtrack and some assets, but played from the POV of a country that is Definitely Not Japan, fighting a country that is Definitely Not USA. It's a bit easy, with a more simplified flight model and missions, but I like it.
I wish it had an English patch, but I understand those are difficult to make, so Google Translate was close enough. :P

True but just remember HIJMS Soho was hit by SBDs from USS Lexington and not that of USS Enterprise.
