Absolutely wonderful! The glass breaking and the knife on a strop! ...perfect 🖤 I'd love a 1940s domestic ambience, maybe a fire, gentle wireless music, a whistling kettle and cups, someone writing or knitting.. that would be heaven 🙏🏻
If anyone wants to get a real feel for Victorian London, read Bruce Robinson's, 'They All Love Jack'. Victorian London was a den of depravity under the facade.
Just discovered your channel and I love that drum you play. Shamanic ancestral atmosphere will always be one of my favourite. Also I'm glad you like my creepy ambiences 😁
Me traipse a bit about. Now stumbling with me hand on eyeglasses and a cup with only a partial handle, I looks out me window and sees the same grey dusk that greets me with a grin of the hardness. This grey mixes with what I always sees dragging along the streets below. What be that rattling sound again? To an untrained, less bitter ear it may be a bugger browsing through the bottles and other such dross that might, if lucky, fetch a farthing or two. But to mine own ear ‘tis the slum coming apart at the seams, factories on their last breath, slumlords clanking pocket change, ghosts long dead moving about - moving a wee bit longer than they should, fumbling for eyeglasses and cups long shattered with broken handles.
@@RPGAmbientSounds thank you rpg, that means a lot to me. I’d have to study up on that time frame in history to edit and get this sort of thing right but I really did feel what I wrote as if the art and your sounds had taken me right to it! First time I’ve offered this type of comment by the way so kudos to your inspiration.
But Bloodborne isnt Victorian, its a common misinterpretation. I think buildings and clothes feel more at home in XVIII century. This rather makes me remember Dunwall from Diahonored or Fallen London from Sunless Sea.
I've missed so many of your videos lately because I've been swamped with work, but I'm so glad I clicked on this one! It's super lulling, and I love the horses clopping by and the high-heels on cobblestone. Thank you for this! 🏇🏻
Autumn! 😊 You are the one who inspired me to create this video. I was truly amazed by your Victorian Era Ambience and I first started to imagine, then to look for mages and finally to work with sounds. i'm very happy you like the final result 🙂🤗 Good luck with your work my friend!
You did a really great job at making the sounds! I love this type of ambience theme! I can hear all kinds of things going on 😄👍 i think ill, stop in this little smoke shop real quick too 😋
This is atmospheric beautiful is maybe not the right word nostalgic dark workhouse Victorian. I have b/w photos just like this of Newcastle upon Tyne in the north of England a coal mining area. That road would of taken you down to the key side to the boats to load the coal. It’s all gone and the key side is beautiful now with all it’s bridges look it up. Thank for a trip down memory lane a forgotten England. 🇬🇧🇬🇧💕💕💕🇬🇧✝️✝️✝️
I love the aesthetic of the Slum of European Cities in the 1800s - around WW2. There is no sugarcoating what life was like in those places. It’s literally impossible to romanticize it. It really, genuinely, truly was just that terrible, on every level imaginable. And yet, in such a world of filth, of horror, of starvation, of the struggle to survive in a world which makes no attempt to even pretend to care about you, it brings a powerful meaning to the tiny moments of happiness and joy, tiny moments of Humanity, of companionship, of friendship and love. In a world of crushingly mundane horror, mundane joy takes a new meaning. In a single moment’s calm and peace in your crowded tenement, surrounded by your entire extended family, staring at the dying fire in silence, when someone makes a little joke, or tells a story, or sings a song, and everyone laughs, or smiles, or cheers, or joins in, it becomes something different, something more powerful. A moment where nothing else in the world matters, a moment of pure joy and comfort in a world which allows for none. I yearn for the day I can actually write something that powerful.
I was wondering: have you ever considered a Victorian train station? There is a real gap in the market for asmr of those on RUclips. I have only found a handful and they have music in. Just a thought. Have a nice day and thank you for the content! This stuff is great for helping me get into character for my drama course.
Listening to this while reading a book about Jack the Ripper. Slums in London were absolutely horrendous in the Victorian era, and Whitechapel was notorious for poverty and crime. I cant even begin to imagine what it must have been like.
Amazing stuff! Great depth of sound, every noise has it's own place, all with the right volumes.. High praises! Hope we can work on something together ;)
Breaks my heart to think that around areas like White Chapel, you'd pay more for a pound of cheese or a loaf of bread. than you would for the use of a woman's body.
Ah well, I, as a rich lord myself, can say that a neat little walk through the slum of Seven Dials is always fun. Observing the lower class search for something edible on the dirty streets and those young orphan boys trying to earn money for all sorts of ridiculous services, such as cleaning ones shoes with dusty brushes or helping one out of their luxurious carriage...As if I wouldn't have a servant for that. Some hideous little rats crawling beneath ones feet, hungry crows cawing on the distant roofs of the grey, so-called 'houses', the simple folk lives in, thou most of them spends their lifetime on the smelling street. And look over there on the right, ladies and gentlemen! There one can see the poor women with their many crying children in their arms, suffering from the consumption, their father already long lost to this illness...tragic. Let's move on, the loud screams of infants really are an annoying sound to listen too- Eugh! Now I got dirt on my overcoat! Horrendous folk, these commoners.
is it possible to "animate" people? like lifting an arm, scratching the nose etc.? or is that too much trouble / too complicated? real question. asking for a friend. it's very atmospheric. good job :)
I'm not able to do it 🙁 My skills are focused on sounds, I have much more experience in that matter. Thank you for kind words 😊 Have a great evening/night!

Ah yes, the comforting feeling of being a starving young maiden wandering the streets in search of food with only her mother’s locket to trade.
Or ... Shall we say other things to trade as well ???? Hmmmmmm? Beware Whitechapel my sweet . pleasant dreams .
