Thanks for checking both Motanka original video and our cover of Verba! Motanka are Ukrainian so called mystic metal band. This particular song tells a story of repressions of Ukrainian people, mass executions and Holodomor (mass starvation) that happened in 1932-1933 and killed millions of Ukrainians.

The woman is Ukrainian language ( mova ), and the dates on her closses is dates on clothes are dates of laws that oppressed or prohibitions of language
